Downloaded game doesn't show up in iPod
I bought the Zuma game which shows up in my iMac Library, but when I sync my iPd it doesn't appear. I go to extra>games and there are 3 games which apparently come with the new iPods. But not Zuma. In iTunes it shows Zuma in my Library though.

Well, here's the nut I think. I plug in my iPod and then I select GAMES in iTunes. I get a screen where I can check or uncheck syncing games. It is checked, but in the area that lists the games, none appear. I know if I click buy game again, I'll be charged twice. They make that clear. But in my purchase history, it shows I bought it.

I'm not sure what you mean by the "music library" - are you looking in the Music app? Or the iTunes app (which is not the one to be looking in)?

Hi Elliot, the link that I had no longer works. Apparently we are not alone in this. I got the link by going to Adobe Support and starting a chat with an Adobe rep. I believe that I went through a series of windows under CS6 Design Standard and clicked a button that said, "I still need help." I think that started the chat. Good luck!

that little "&" sends the conky process to the background freeing up the current process (your autostart.sh script) to finish doing what it's doing so you can move on to running openbox itself. with this in mind, it should be obvious why keeping conky in the foreground would cause problems.
also, replacing it with (sleep 1 && conky) & means... wait a second, when that's done successfully (&&) run conky, and put all of that () to the background. that way openbox comes up immediatly and only a second later you've got your panel and monitor.

Argent help needed! Downloaded app doesn't show in...
Need help! I downloaded Six-Guns into my newly bought NOKIA Lumia 720, but it doesn't show up in the App List, so I cannot play it nor uninstall it. Still it takes more than 800 MB and only left around 400 MB in my internal storage!!! An argent assistance is needed!!!
Yes, it's under the Game.
It can be better if the game also shows up in App List for my convenience.

I have, what i think is a 5th generation 60G video ipod. I have iQuiz in my library but when i sync my ipod, iQuiz doesn't show up. Anyone have any solutions? I know it only works with 5th generation ipods... is it possible that mine isn't 5th generation? And if so how do I figure out what generation it is?

saraDid ticking the sync games box work cause mine is set to sync them and I still can't get iquiz to work. I keep getting the message "This game cannot be played" and I have 5th generation so it should work!
You can check which ipod type you have on here btw. You need to look at the last 3 numbers/letters on serial number on the back. -
Download window doesn't show downloaded files
Started having this issue a few weeks ago:
When downloading files, the Download pop-up window shows file download progress as it should. However, when download is finished the window clears and nothing shows in Download pop-up window.
When I search for file through Finder it appears and works fine.
I searched and found a related post that doesn't exactly match my issue. http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=11080958
It references Speed Download as the issue which I don't have.
Any suggestions appreciated.

I did look at the safari/preferences/general and the 'Remove download list items' is set to 'Manually'. As a test, I changed it to 'When Safari Quits' and downloads still do not appear on the Download pop-up window. When I switched it back to 'Manually' the problem still exists. Any thoughts?

edit: just remembered this issue appeared around when I installed Google Chrome. I've since removed Google Chrome and issue remains.

Album artwork doesn't show up on ipod
My album artwork doesn't show up for songs that i currently just burned off a cd. it shows up on itunes but not on my ipod

Make sure that you have "Include Album Artwork" checked under the Music tab screen that you can access when you plug your iPod in. See if that helps.

I had this problem before back in the end of November and all of December mail will stop loading and doesn't show up this in the account settings OTHER . I have deleted the account and reloaded it did a hard restart still the same it starts and says downloading but it doesn't show up on the phone this is doing the same thing on my ipad also . So one would think it is the server for my email account it is not because it works fine on my mack air and also the imac so I'm confused what would be the next step any ideas ?
Use the links in the iTunes Music Store itself to tell them of the problem. Or the links under the help menu of iTunes.

Can I Download Games from my Mac to My iPod Touch

I can't seem to get my WiFi set up on my Touch...though I am still working on that so I downloaded some games from iTunes into an Applications folder in the Library. I was hoping I could just sync them like I did for my songs, but they don't go to the iPod (I am using the USB cable).
Can someone help me transfer these games from my MacBook to my iPod Touch 2g?

GramsConnect your iPod to iTunes and use the Applications pane to specify which App Store applications you want installed on iPod touch. Any applications downloaded directly to iPod touch are automatically
backed up to your iTunes library when you sync. If you manually delete an application on iPod touch, you can reinstall it from this pane as long as it was previously synced.

Note, if the games were for an earlier iPod, they won't transfer. These will be listed separately when you select the Applications library in iTunes. -
iTunes said i needed to update my iPod then when it was done it deleted all of my content. All of my pictures, music, apps, and downloads are completely gone. I tried to go back to where i bought the songs but they have a price next to them, like i never bought them. But my balence obviously shows i bought them. What do i do? I bought an ablum and two songs, and don't want to have to pay for them again.

I hope this hasn't been discussed elsewhere, but I found a solution to a frequent problem I was having.

PROBLEM: After completing a workout, attempting to upload it to the nikeplus.com website doesn't work at all. Checking Preferences>iPod>Nike + iPod does not show a "latest workout". Trying the "re-sync" tricks don't work.
WHAT CAUSES THE PROBLEM: From what I have found, if you listen to a playlist that has an ampersand (&) in the playlist title, the workout won't be synced to the Nike Plus website.
I had to go in and edit the XML file and remove the ampersand, move the xml file back to the "Latest Workout" folder and sync again.
I noticed this because opening a good workout in Safari displayed all workout data while the "bad" xml file showed an error on line 12. Line 12 consisted of the playlist I played during my workout ("Shane & Shane"). Changing all instances of this to "Shane and Shane" solved the issue.

Good detective work & thanks for sharing your discovery. However, if you search for "ampersand" you will see that several people (Solstice & others) have already posted about the problems caused by having an ampersand in a playlist title.
I suppose we need a FAQ for the most common problems and fixes! It would save people from having to reinvent the wheel. -
Podcast doesn't show up on iPod
I downloaded an NPR podcast -- Leonard Cohen concert -- then tried to sync it to my iPod classic. I checked sync selected, then hit apply, and it showed up in a podcast category in my source list when the iPod was connected to the Mac. But I can't find it on my iPod when I disconnect it. Any idea where it is, or how I can get it to show up?
I assume you mean Leonard Cohen Live from the Beacon Theatre, Feb 27. I've just downloaded it and it is now on my iPod, so this suggests it's not the Podcast itself.
Is this the first time you have added Podcasts? If so, it sounds as though you simply haven't carried out the correct steps in the correct order.
Also, what do you mean by "I checked sync selected"? If this is your first Podcast addition, do you mean/have you:
1. connected the iPod to iTunes
2. switched to the Podcasts pane and checked (put a tick-in-the-box) to *Sync /<XX> /episodes of /all podcasts* (or whichever episodes you want)
3. clicked the Sync button after steps 1 & 2?
You will only have to select these options for syncing Podcasts once, after that they will be as you want them at every Sync.

I got an iPod Touch for Christmas. I have been downloading apps and all of the sudden the will not load to my iPod. I have nine pages of apps and the iPod will not let me add any more. If I delete 1 can add one. AM I LIMITED TO NINE PAGES?

Berniehave you upgraded to the latest software? you can only download apps to ipod touches with software 2.0 or later.
if yes, then when you connect your ipod to itunes, on the ipod overview screen should be an applications tab, what are the settings on there? -
Game doesn't fit the screen, iPod menu sideways
I have a 4th generation iPod Nano. The problem here comes from the game Brain Challenge.
This is probably a very confusing and complicated explanation of the problem, so I've provided photos of the problem at the bottom of this post.
When I start Brain Challenge the game video is not aligned with the screen so that part of the game is cut off when I play. The game should be displayed on the screen horizontally (with the ipod held horizontally - as in Klondike), however my problem is that Brain Challenge is displayed with a vertical orientation (with the ipod held vertically), meaning the right-hand side of the Brain Challenge interface is cut off by the edge of the screen and there is a large black area at the bottom of the screen (see photo #1).
To make matters worse, when I exit Brain Challenge the orientation of all the ipod menus are askew as well (photo #2). With the ipod held vertically, the ipod menus are now displayed sideways, with anything at the "bottom" of the menu being cut off by the edge of the screen, and a large empty black space at the bottom of the screen. I have found that the only way to correct this and reorient the ipod menu display is to go to Cover View (even resetting the ipod does not resolve it). When I exit Cover View everything is back to normal.
While I have been able to fix the display of the ipod menus when this happens, the problem I described above reoccurs each time I attempt to play Brain Challenge. Maybe the game thinks I have a 3rd generation Nano?
I have uninstalled the game from my ipod and reinstalled it with no better luck. The only other software I have added to my ipod is Ms. Pac-man.

If not, and you don't have any similar problems when you play any other games (or at any other time when using the iPod), you should report the problem about that game through the iTunes Store. You can do so using iTunes by selecting the iTunes Store in the sidebar, then clicking on your iTunes Store user ID at the upper right corner. This will give you your account summary view. Click on +Purchase History+. From there, you can find the specific purchase that has this game and +Report a Problem+ to explain the issues. If desired, you can request a refund, because the game does not work as expected.
After doing the Restore, if you notice other similar issues (not just a problem in that game), you may want to have the iPod looked at under the one-year warranty.
