Downloaded & installed. How do I open it?

I downloaded and installed Acrobat 11. Now how do I open it? It's just a bunch of files & more installer options but I already did all of that. I just want the program to open.

Hi Anina,
The .dmg file is the original installation package.
Do you remember the software going through the installation process and asking you to input a serial number?
I would suggest moving the .dmg file to your desktop, and then initiate the installation process by clicking on the install.app.
You should get a message that the installation is successful once it completes. Try launching the application after that.
Please reply to this thread if that doesn't work.

LR6 downloaded/installed but won't open. Help screens didn't help.

I am logged into my creative cloud account. I downloaded and installed the new LR upgrade but it won't open using either of the methods in help. I have tried a restart, no joy. Me too. Tried to get Adobe to help. After 30 minutes someone answered the telephone. Support person implied he's never heard of such a thing. Posted problem on forum. Someone asked me about my computer specs. Tried the support chat feature. Waited forever. Nobody at Adobe responded to chat request. Eventually got a robot email form Adobe stating the problem is solved and issue officially closed. Before this afternoon I had a working LR. Now, I have one LR that is partially functional and one that doesn't open.

You don't download books from iTunes on your iPad, you use the iBooks app. Did you mean you downloaded it in iTunes on a computer? If so, it needs to be opened in the iBooks app on an iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, or Mac.

It seems like you are getting update to Install Acrobat DC .That is the latest version of Acrobat .

You need two files. One with a .exe extension and one with a .7z extension.
Then you double click the .exe file and follow the prompts.

the ".rm" extension is created by 'Real Media' application.
The easiest way to use it is to install the 'Real Media' player:
1. RealPlayer BBC.app
2. RealPlayer 12.app
I have both installed & use them sometimes.
(The 'BBC' wersion doesn't have any adverts with-in the app.)
