Downloaded iOS 8 to iPhone 4s, won't allow start up.

Have just downloaded iOS 8 to my iPhone 4s on start up the phone seems to be in a loop at the Apple ID Sign in page to set up iCloud. Whether you sign in or try to skip this step it loops back to the Hello screen and then through to the Apple ID Sign in again. It won't allow you to progress any further and won't allow start up.

I still have no WiFi nor do I have Bluetooth capabilities on my iPhone 4S. I Tried to do a system restore and it's exactly the same as before. Could Apple please expedite an update to solve this WiFi issue? Maybe go back to how you had the WiFi working in iOS7??? It's cutting into my limited data plan and I'd appreciate it if I could use the product I paid for and not feel like I'm being scammed out of it for lack of a better term.

I purchased a new iphone 6 and restored it from an icloud backup. My previous phone, an iphone 5, had ios 8.0.2 installed on it but now my new iphone 6 won't allow me to download and install the update. My home screen shows the badge app icon on settings stating that there is a pending download, but when i select software update, i am told that the update has already been downloaded but it can't be installed until i finish restoring from icloud backup. It sounds like your iPhone is still restoring some items from your previous iCloud backup. You can observe the progress of this in your iCloud settings, at the bottom of the page, where it shows your iCloud storage and last backup information:

If you feel that this restore process has stalled, you may want to perform a reset on your phone using the following article:

You really shouldn't be using the phone during an update...my thought is that your cables are the root issue. It is possible that because it was in the middle of the imparts and something went wrong it has been "bricked". I'd search the threads for restoring from recovery mode and you might have some luck.

The iPhone has a hardware problem - with the battery or something else.
The iPhone includes a one year warranty. If purchased new in October of 2012, it remains under warranty. Call AppleCare or make an appointment at an Apple Store if there is one nearby.

I'm an Android cellphone user so can delete all emails from my phone with a click or two. Is that a patent issue for Apple? There is no way to delete ALL email messages easily?

Had the same problem. There is an undocumented way under another thread and it works, but is clunky and very un-Mac-like.

MARK ALL AS READ (for me and several others in the thread it only works, when I marked all as read)
Highlight first email
Hold move button
Try to unhighlight first email (probably won't )
Still holding move button pull down on mails and then try to unhighlight first email again
This time it should
You will notice the inbox seems frozen as move is no longer highlighted and individual emails will not highlight if you touch them
Wait May take a minute or two depending on how many emails are in your inbox but they will move to the right side
Then just touch trash

Do you get any specific error messages? Double-check the following:
On the summary tab of your iTunes sync settings you have checked "Sync only checked songs and videos"
In your music library you have checked all the songs you want to sync to your phone
There are no exclamation points next to any of the songs you want to sync to your phone
You have authorized your computer for all Apple IDs for any purchased music you want to sync to your phone (in Store>Authorize this computer)
You have checked "Sync Music" on the Music tab of your iTunes sync settings
When everything looks correct, sync your phone.

Can iOS updates be downloaded without the iPhone attached?
And can they be at least downloaded on a computer that's not married to the iPhone?? And then transferred to the marital home for installation???

Bottom line is the iPhone must be connected to a computer and synced using your iTunes account. When you get that far, launch iTunes then from the menu bar click Store / Authorize This Computer.
Then sync the iPhone using iTunes.
If this is a Windows based computer, you may need to disable anti virus software and turn off the Firewall first before syncing.

Please help. I have purchased Photoshop elements and premier elements 13 for my Mac. After downloading eventually (after a few failed attempts due to bad broadband signal) My Mac is asking of my redemption code ( long 6 box code on back of download card). Problem being it not allow me to type although the cursor is flashing demanding that I do? Thanks in advance

You might be looking at the serial number entry, which is obtained from processing the redemption code.

My iPhone 5 won't allow me to download ANY apps.

I click in the purchase icon, the blue circle comes up like its loading but then a minute later a msg pops up saying "unable to purchase, (app I'm trying to download) could not be purchased at this time. Please try again later".
But every time I try to download any type of app it comes up with the same message.
I've tried logging out and back in, restarting my phone. I'm update with all updates. I don't know what else to do.

I no longer have iTunes library.xml on my PC but I have all of my songs. How do I download them to my iPhone - it won't allow me to drag and drop though my PC recognizes the device.

My PC has all of my iTunes and it recognizes my iPhone 4 device but I cannot drag and drop the songs. How do I copy the songs to my new iPhone without having to re-purchase everything? Unfortunately, It appears I no longer have iTunes Music Library.xml on my PC.

My husband and I are using the same iTunes account on all mac & pc computers, but the libraries are different on each machine. We always manually manage our music (no auto sync). iTunes is up to date on the PCs. My husband uses our joint iTunes account on his pc, but once again, has a different collection in his library from those on the other machines. He can't load any music from his PC to his iphone 4. I can load music from my mac library to my iphone 4s, but cannot load from my pc library to my iphone 4s. How can I switch my main library that it syncs with from the mac to the pc?

I finally updated my iPad 2 (16 GB; Wi-Fi) with the new iOS 7 update (7.0.3), and now it won't let me drag-and-drop items from my iTunes library anymore. It starts to, it seems. iTunes says "Preparing to sync" and then that just disappears, and nothing else happens.
Just the other night, I drag-and-dropped some songs onto my iPad (since my iPhone wasn't allowing me to, so I added them to my iPad instead; I'm getting a new iPod touch soon anyways, so this is only temporary), and it worked just fine. This was before I updated my iOS 7 (iTunes was already at 11.1).

Checked my storage space; I have plenty for these six videos I want to add on here...
I have had this iPad set on "manually manage" since I bought it. It has never known any different. I've manually synced movies from my old MacBook (backlight dead, and it's not worth the money I'd have to pay to replace it, since this is the second-to-last MacBook Apple made, so it isn't worth much anymore; and this MacBook still has Mac OSX 10.5, so iTunes 11 won't even work with it, so I haven't synced anything from it in MONTHS...), and to my last PC laptop (charging port is broken, so it won't charge even though it works fine when the battery is full; unfortunately, I haven't gotten around to ordering the new part yet). I've only added three songs from this "new PC" that I'm borrowing. To my knowledge, it doesn't matter how many different libraries you "sync" to a "manually managed" device, right? Besides, I just synced music from this third library last week!!
What I just don't understand is why it let me the other day, and now it won't.
And before I updated tonight, my PC didn't even recognize my iPad. So I pretty much HAD to install that iOS 7 update that had been in my Settings since it came out.
What is going on? I'm kind of sick of this...the only option it seems is to just completely sync to this one computer, but I'll lose pretty much everything except the few songs I put on here, and my videos. I have pictures and apps and notes/documents that I DO NOT want to lose.
Any suggestions?
