What troubleshooting steps have you taken? Have you checked Settings>General>Restrictions? Have you done a Spotlight search for it? Have you tried resetting your device by pressing and holding the Home button and power button until the silver apple appears?

It should be on the top row. If not go to settings> general> restrictions> camera and make sure the button is green.

HI Everyone,
FInally I got my AppleTV and connected it to my TV and network , sadly it took me hours until I succeed to activate airplay after finding out in some forum that I need to reset my network connections and the airplay icon will appear , happily it happend and I start looking for answers regarding the huge lag in mirroring stage ( which still huge problem that have to be solve after I will solve the airplay disappear issue) .
after 10 min the airplay icon disappear at my IPad and iPhone and even resetting the network connection is not helping , please please please some one help !!!Avielofer wrote:

It's not necessary, but is a good troubleshooting step. How to do so varies from brand to brand. Look at the manufacturers website, they should have a manual available that explains how to access the settings and change it.

So I have most pictures in different photo streams from my other devices. When I try to add a picture to my slide, only one photo stream will show and the one that shows isn't even created by me, if that matters. I have turned off the Photo option on my iCloud and turned it back on. Have tried closing apps, still nothing.

Did you fail to import your pics before updating?
If so, then they are very likely gone.
You can try restoring from backup, but if that fails, they are gone.
In the future, you should regualrly import pics ( and everything else) to your computer, particularly before any update. -

hi, I have the same exact problem today and mine is also an iPad mini
all I do is connecting my iPad to itunes (make sure you have the latest version) and then a pop-up appears and it gave me two option 'update' and 'restore'
choose the update and let itunes downloading the ios, I don't know if this might happen to you but after sometimes another pop-up appears to say the download failed and I need to restore my ipad, I choose to ignore it (by clicking restore and update > cancel) because on my first attempt I click update and it suddenly re-downloading from zero, and it keeps appearing for every 10 minutes so I just choose the 'eject ipad' option and keep the itunes downloading the ios
once it finished downloading connect the ipad, choose update, the apple logo will appear on your ipad with a stripe below
it takes a long time to update the ios on the ipad but please be patient because it might took a long time
after a depressing 15 hours of downloading and 1 hour of updating I managed to get my ipad back with a new ios and without losing any data (please note that I don't have any backup of my files and using my friends pc to do all the steps above)

ios8.02 and now ios8.1 ipad mini still not updating apps or allowing to download from store. circle spins and does nothing else .
Turn off any auto-update, if it is on, then tap.any of the "circle icons" showing that a download is in progress, in order to stop the download. Then go to the Settings and reset the Network Settings. After the iPad starts back up, then check to make sure no apps are currently in progress of downloading. If any are, stop them again, and reset the network settings again. When it starts up again, none should be in the process of downloading. Then from that point forward, only download manually and never more than two at a time. If it is more than 100 MB, then do only one at a time. If any gets stuck at that point, then stop the download and reset the Network settings.
That should take care of you for now. We'll see what another update brings ... IOS 8.2 (which might be the next one). -
I have bought my daughter an iPad mini and I've tried to set it all up for her and get her an apple account so she can download games and music but it keeps saying she doesn't meet the age restriction. How can I set this up for her as she has an iPod and would like to access music from iTunes ect.
There are age restrictions for an Apple ID. These are in place for a good reason. Simply set it up to use your iTunes account/Apple ID for purchases. If you don't have one, create one.

You have a "good WiFi connection". What does that mean exactly? Can you send and receive email and are other internet related activities working OK for you? Have you tried restarting or rebooting your iPad? Sometimes that helps. If nothing else, it's a good place to start.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -

I have downloaded Peppa Pig series using Itunes and have tried to sync the tv programme to both my Ipad Mini and IPhone 5. However neither work saying that 'videos from Itunes Libary can not be copied to 'ipad' because they can not be played on this I Pad. But the iPhone 5 and the iPad mini should support HD videos.
What I would try is downloading the movies directly to your iPad mini or your iPhone. You will want to do this when connected to Wi-Fi, but you can follow these steps in this article: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519
