Downloaded itunes 11.1.3 on my macbook pro and now my itunes store isn't working
Hi,
I have recently upgraded to the new itunes software 11.1.3 on my 2010 macbook pro everything works fine except the itunes store. When I click to go into the itunes store and click music or movies etc it says "accessing music store" and looks like it loads but nothing comes up it just stays blank. It lets me sign into my account but will not allow me to browse or see anything on the itunes store page. Before I upgraded it was working perfectly!
What is the problem?
Try restarting holding the option key for the startup manager

Sometimes you have to reset the SMC two or three times for it to work, don't know why. I've seen that error message before and 100% of the time it was fixed with an SMC reset. I suppose it's possible that your keyboard or mouse IS drawing too much power, do you have access to another you could try?

I spilled soda on my Macbook Pro and now my homerow keys short/stop working
As to the title, I spilt soda (Mt.Dew) on my keybored and part of my left speakers the 2nd day I had it. My homerow keys do not work sometimes. I cleaned it like some of the forum topics have said to do and that helped for the first semester I had it. Now that it's second semester, the keys are shorting out on me more often. What can I do to fix this problem. I would say my warranty doesn't cover it because Ihave tried cleaning it myself. Any help would be appreciated.

Macbook Pro Mac OS X (10.4.8)You should do what you should have done when it happened. Take it in to an Apple service center. Either they can clean it properly or, more than likely, replace the keyboard assuming there's no other damage. It will not be covered under warranty.

Just downloaded 10.7.2 on to my macbook pro and now my safari will not load pages.
I just upgraded from Snow Leopard to Lion...10.7.2 and not my safari will not load web pages...my interent is working fine...the safari acts like it is trying but generally cant load them. every once in a while it will be able to load a page. My other web browser is having no problem so this is specific to Safari. any advise would be greatly appreciated. thanks

My System Preferences>Soundoutput screen does not have the "Use audio port for" field.
Does your MBP have two separate audio ports - one for line-in and one output port? Then you wan't see that selector.
but the port has started to work again....Reason???
Perhaps there was dirt or something in the jack and the contact was bad.
(or you accidentally put the plug into the line-in jack instead into the audio-out; that happened to me once ).

I download songs from my dropbox to my macbook pro and then upload them to my updated iTunes. iTunes plays them in entirety, but when i update my iTunes match, my iPhone and iPad skip many of the songs and albums. Why? I have tried everything.
If you have manually manage set, you do not sync.
If you want to sync, select the content desired to sync and sync.

I have just transferred my iTunes library from a hard drive previously connected to a windows laptop to a MacBook Pro and now all my options for editing info are greyed out. I have seen the answers if still using windows but could find a similar situation to this one.

you'd have to point +iTunes media folder location+ back to the external via preferences > advanced > iTunes media folder location, then file > library, organize library > consolidate files

in that case it might be best to copy the entire iTunes folder to the external. then, on each machine, launch iTunes while pressing option on your keyboard. when prompted, click on +choose library+ and navigate to the iTunes folder on the external.
note only one iTunes can access the iTunes library @ a time !
also, make sure the external is mounted on either machine before launching iTunes.

I have just upgraded to 10.8 on my macbook pro and now I can't access itunes, videos and there is no sound - anyone help?
It is an old macbook pro probably 6yo with the back lit keys - not under applecare anymore obviously. I downloaded the upgrade last night which took quite a while longer than it should have.
Anyone else experienced this and can suggest something? many thanks JoRun Software Update, wait till all the updates have finished downloading then restart the mac.

I just updated my macbook pro and now every time i go to youtube it tells me I have to download the new version of adobe flash player so i do and it still wont let me play it ..
Assuming Allan's advice is not correct, and you do run the installer, I think I've heard of that problem and it involves removing the old Flash plug-ins, then install the new version. I don't use it so I don't know what they are called, but will be the /Library/Internet Plug-ins folder.
You can go here and enable HTML5 in YouTube so you don't have to use Flash: http://www.youtube.com/html5
Most(?) of the content is HTML5, but you may run into videos where you still need Flash. -

Start up from your install disc, go to Disk Utility and select the disk and click erase - to securely erase data click Security Options and Erase Free Space which will entirely wipe your disk, overwriting it with zeros so that no data is recoverable. -
I downloaded something called MPlayerX and it is ruining my computer (a macbook pro) and now on safari theres pop up adds that shouldn't be there and on the google homepage theres adds. I want to know how to fix this and get rid of MPlayerX PLEASE HELP ME!!!!
MPlayerX isn't itself the problem; it was downloaded from a source that packaged adware with it. Click here and follow the instructions, or if desired, run Adware Medic.
