Downloaded Movie Trailers Can Not Be Watched
Right after I download trailer of a movie, it shows the file can't be found sign right next to it in the podcast menu.
I don't know why iTunes changed it in that way that we have to download the video to watch, it was better.
So, it proves either nobody knows how to solve this or they just don't care. I can't decide which one is worse...

I downloaded movies onto my iPad to watch when I was abroad, I synchronised with my laptop and now they are not on my iPad how can I get them back?
If the shows are in fact still on the pad, they will be found in the videos app, not the music or I tunes app. Look there and see if they are still there.
If you don't see them there, go to the searchlight screen ( farthest left home page) and type in the name of one of the shows. If it is on the pad, hiding somewhere, this will find it.
If they are not there, they should not be using up space.
To get them back onto your pad, plug in and sync again. Make sure you transfer purchases first. Before you sync, take a look at the video tab in your I tunes, and check what you want and don't want synced. -

Sorry if this has been asked before, tried a search but difficult to choose appropriate keywords. Anyway...
When does iTunes bill you for renting a movie? As soon as you start downloading it or only if you press "play" & begin the 24 hour rental period?
Reason I'm asking is I like to pre-download a movie maybe a day or so before friends come over for movie night (I've had issues with long download times ruining movie night). Not knowing exactly what they'll want to watch, I often pre-download a couple of choices, assuming they'll want to watch at least one. What I assumed is, I'll only be charged for what we actually watch. If I don't start the 24 hour rental period then I don't expect to be charged. This doesn't seem to be the case however. Apparently they charge me regardless if I watch it or not?Okay thanks for clearing that up for me. Wish they'd made that clearer.
I guess I'll have to stop pre-downloading movies I "may" want to watch. Disappointing as that more or less means I can't use AppleTV for movie night. Well unless I ask my guests what they want to watch before they show up. Oh well. Thanks again. -
Trouble downloading movie trailers through the iTunes store
Anyone else having trouble downloading movie trailers through the iTunes store? When trying to download them I get a "The requested resource was not found error". I'm getting it with the Star Wars 3D and also the Avengers trailer. Seem to be happening more often now and I find if it's happening to others.
I've sent a few emails to the [email protected] address from the Trailer section of the Apple website but still have got no reply back.
It seems to me there maybe a push to just stream the trailers instead of having a physical download in your iTunes library ...maybe? iTunes has been pushing the Avengers as a big event so doesn't make sense to not have the links working properly. -
My hard drive went bad and I lost a lot of purchased items from the iTunes store. I want to re-download them but can not. They still show up on my purchased items. How do I solve this?

I downloaded the adobe XI software and it shows in my Adobe download assistant as downloaded but I can not open it and it is not a part of my applications. Very frustrating download process as I just want to convert a PDF file to an editable word document...
Odonnells52 you will still need to install Adobe Acrobat Professional prior to being able to make edits to PDF or utilize Acrobat. By default the installation files have been saved to your download folder.
If you continue to face difficulties with the Adobe Download Assistant then please see Troubleshoot Adobe Download Assistant.
You can also download the installation files directly from Download Acrobat products | Standard, Pro | XI, X if you are unable to locate the downloaded installation files. -
An app I purchased and downloaded directly to my Ipad is missing and not in my app files on my PC. When I go to the app store to re-download it I can not and the app says I have already downloaded it. How do I get my app back?
You should be able to copy it from your iPad to your computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases, or you should be able to re-download it via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes Store home page - if that says that it's already downloaded, then that implies that it's already on your computer

Look in the folder displayed where you see the arrow. The actual Downloads folder is found in your Home (user) folder. -
I have purchased a film from the istore and it had transferred to my download but I can not do it as it say I don't have enough storage. I pressed the HD version and know SD are smaller how can I change it to SD version?

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Downloads are deleted to make room for something else or when the device is turned off, if you don't want your downloads removing, you need to avoid doing one of the things that will cause this. -

Babowa It appears that in imovie everything has to be "finalised" before it can be used or shared elsewhere in the same way as a disk has to be to be played elsewhere. Funnily enough an MOV file I converted to Mp4 was not greyed out and I was able to import it.... an exercise I am not keen on because of resolution loss during conversion
