recently i downloaded music from itunes strait to my iphone via wi-fi and i am having trouble figuring out how to get that music on the computer without having to re purchase it can someone help me please

If you automatically sync your music then any music purchased on the iPhone will automatically be loaded onto your computer. If you manually manage music then you need to choose Transfer Purchases from iPod/iPhone from iTunes' File menu while you have the iPhone connected to your computer.

Hi, after having software Problems, i set up my Iphone again. Now, the following problem exists:
All music, I have bought beforehand from Itunes is shown with a cloud symbol so that I could download the music easely from itunes in the cloud again. I tried to load this music by connecting the iphone with my PC, but it is still shown with the cloud symbol. I am not using icloud!
It is too much music to download it this way (pushing the symbol on the phone). Can anybody tell me another way? How can I bring my music to my Iphone again???

If your music has a cloud icon means the music is not on your iPhone/computer iTunes locally.
You can download the music through Purchased tab then sync your iPhone with the music selected.

This has nothing to do with the iPhone; it means that your user profile is not complete in the iTunes store. Your address may be invalid, your credit card number (or gift card number), the CCV code of your card, the expiration date, etc. Once you correct whatever is wrong you will be able to purchase music.

I can't figure out how to get music from iTunes to the iPhone 4S.

I've tried to sync music, but it says there are zero songs. This new set-up of iTunes is the dumbest thing I've ever seen, and doesn't have the side menu to the left where you could click the device that it used to. I have the computer authorized and all that. I even set up home sharing.

Unplug iphone > open itunes > delete all music from itunes library > close itunes > re-open itunes > add music from original folder > plug in iphone > select songs > press sync > unplug iphone using eject button onscreen > checked phone .... still nothing in music folder on phone. The default program to download your photos is set in the preference panel of either iPhoto or image capture

Assuming you are not manually managing your music, verify the following:
You are using the latest version of iTunes
On the summary tab of your iTunes sync settings you have checked "Sync only checked songs and videos"
In your music library you have checked all the songs you want to sync to your phone
There are no exclamation points next to any of the songs you want to sync to your phone
You have authorized your computer for all Apple IDs for purchased music you want to sync to your phone (in Store>Authorize this computer)
You have checked "Sync Music" on the Music tab of your iTunes sync settings
When everything looks correct, sync your phone.
