Downloaded Music on my Iphone 4S

While at work I play my downloaded music from my Iphone 4S through my desktop speakers by connecting the speaker cable from my computer to my phone.  Does this at all use or interfere with my companies WiFi or internet?  I am not streaming the music as it is on my phone which was downloaded through I tunes.  I am asking because we had an email come out reminding us not to stream music or videos as there was some activitiy from an apple device that interfered with a video conference the other day.  The company has already blocked any music sites so I can't use like Pandora or my Tune It radio unless I turn off wifi and use my cell service data which I don't.  So I just want to make sure as I am not Techo literate.

Does this at all use or interfere with my companies WiFi or internet?
No.

Sync your iPhone to iTunes to copy the iTunes purchases to the computer.
    Or iTunes prefs > Store.
Tick Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases then click the Cloud icon after the song names to download them.

the appletv will not display your movies in folders.
you could change the tags in itunes to include the genre in the "show" field in the "video" tab. this would replicate the view you want, but you will need to tag all your movies to do this.

All of your music should be in itunes on your computer.
Select it to sync and sync.

  • Itunes is not letting me download music onto my iphone. How do I get it to work?

I have been trying to download music onto my iphone and it does not work! It just doesn't connect. Does anyone know how to fix this?

iTunes will only transfer music from the iPhone that were bought at Apple's iTunes store. You'll need to use a third party program such as Senuti to transfer music you got from other sources.

  • TS2776 I have a error :paired problem while trying to download music on my iphone.

    That's what 'transfer' meant?
I really don't use another Apple ID for music, and I'm keeping the iPhone so I guess I'll be ok then, I can download music on the iPhone now without any problems after I hit Transfer, thank you

  • I downloaded music onto my iPhone 4S from from the iTunes Store that I previously purchased, and now I can't delete them from my phone.  I tried do remove them from my MAC too, but still can't delete them.

I downloaded music onto my iPhone 4S from from the iTunes Store that I previously purchased, and now I can't delete them from my phone.

How are you trying to delete the music direct on your iPhone?
You tried to remove the music from iTunes on your Mac how?
Do you have Sync Music selected under the Music tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes on your computer?

How do I download music from my iPhone to my ipad

You don't - not directly anyway. You can download the music again in the purchased tab of the iTunes app on the iPad. You will not be charged as long as you use the same Apple ID.
You can also transfer the music into iTunes on your computer and then sync the songs to the iPad. This will only work for music purchased from iTunes.

  • Can I download music to my iPhone directly from my computer- WITHOUT using iCloud?

Does anyone know how to download music from iTunes on your computer onto your phone without using iCloud?  It used to be that I would just plug in my phone, hit sync, and all the music I wanted (which I had selected in iTunes on my computer) would be added to my phone's music library.  Easy peasy.  Now, none of the music actually gets downloaded to the phone- if I'm connected to wi-fi, I can access all those selected songs through the cloud, but if I'm not, then the songs are grayed out in my playlists.  Each song has a little cloud icon next to it, and I can download the songs by tapping that… one at a time.  I talked to Apple support and they told me to go into the iTunes store app and select "download all," which I did try, but given the quantity of songs I have, and the rate at which things were going, it would have taken forever to get them all downloaded.  I have thousands of songs I like to have on my phone, and the point is to be able to listen to them in places without wi-fi (like my car, or on a hike, or an airplane); it is SUPER annoying that I can no longer quickly download all of those songs by simply connecting my phone to my computer.  I have searched high and low in these forums and I can't seem to find a solution; I would really appreciate any help anyone can offer.
Some details:  I have an iPhone 6, and I use iTunes on my Mac, and all of my software on both is up to date.  I do not subscribe to iTunes Match, so turning that off (as has been recommended elsewhere) is not helpful to me.

Thanks, but I should have clarified:  I already have USB syncing set up with iTunes on my Mac and have been adding music to my iPhone for years that way; now with the latest IOS, it no longer appears to be working.  I follow the exact steps I always have (and which are outlined in the link provided), but no actual music is downloaded to my phone- if I am not connected to a wi-fi network, I cannot listen to my music unless I download it from iCloud.  (And downloading it from iCloud is a laborious task because I have many songs.)

  • How can I download music from my iphone to my new computer?

My old computer died and I got a new computer and want to download all of my music from my iphonne to my computer.  How do I do this?  I can't figure it out.  Please help!

The sync is one way - computer to ipod.  The exception is itunes purchases:  File>Transfer Purchases
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for this very occasion. Have you failed to do this?

  • Cannot manually download music to my iPhone.

I bought songs off of iTunes and when I go to drag them to my iPhone to be downloaded, it doesn't form the blue box around it and let me download it to my iPhone. It doesn't say anything, it just won't let the song download. The iPhone is connected via USB.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks.

  • I can,t download music on my iPhone 5

I can,t download music from mac to iPhone 5.

Need more info than "can't download" to help.  What EXACTLY did you do and what EXACTLY happened?

  • I cannot download music on my iphone 5

Ive looked at many blogs and tried many different things. Syncing with clicking no music then syncing again with music box checked. I tried to sync with the old itunes before I downloaded new one and it didnt work for either. I tried syncing from itunes on the phone itself and it shows the songs downloading on the app, but when I go to the actual music app it still has "No Music You can download from itunes store".When I'm on iTunes on the computer and I click on the music on this iPhone button all the music is grey and I can't click on them and I don't see this music on my phone Right now im stuck and have no idea on what to do?

I would try a complete restore. First back up your contacts and information so you don't loose it! Then, plug your phone into iTunes and click on it. After that, click restore. I wouldn't restore from a backup because you might encounter the same problem. After that, try installing some new music on your iPhone 5!
    Hope this helped!
