Downloaded new version, can't work with my os. now have nothing. want old system back
downloaded new firefox per directions. would not work because of my os. now it is the only version I have on computer. Want my old version of FF back so I can use.

Reinstalling 5.1.10 may be insufficient to turn back the clock. (This is the moment where a Time Machine or another form of full backup would save your bacon.)
While you're getting a copy of Safari 5.1.10, get a copy of Firefox (https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/desktop/), too, so that you have an alternate browser to use as you're sorting matters.

However, the Camera Raw versions will not match - meaning you may have to render your file into a tiff to bake-in your LR Settings before passing the file to PS CS5, -

"older" iPhoto version can't work with Leopard 10.5.3
Leopard newby, just upgraded from Tiger. I see that my previous iPhoto version doesn't work with Leopard. Is this Apple's way to make me pay $79 for iLife, or is there a free iPhoto version available that works with Leopard?

Any version of iPhoto after v2 works with 10.5. That's v4,v5, v6, v7. All of them.
You can purchase the latest version from Apple, you can search amazon or ebay for an earlier version.
The only way to get a free version of iPhoto is to get a new Mac. The iLife suite comes free with everyone.
I don't think it's "Apple's way to make me pay $79 for iLife", but it might illustrate the importance of checking these things before you upgrade.
And, of course, you don't have to use iPhoto. There are alternatives: search on MacUpdate

The new version won't work with my AVG-antivirus I had to uninstall
My problem is the exact opposite of the other people. AVG is just fine, it was the latest version of Firefox I deleted after it told me my AVG anti-virus program wasn't compatible now.
I want to re-install my old version because I completely uninstalled it from my programs list.AVG has been working hard to keep up with Firefox's rapidly advancing version numbers. Support for Firefox 11 was released in Service Pack 1 according to this post from the AVG forums (yesterday): [http://forums.avg.com/ww-en/avg-forums?sec=thread&act=show&id=196419 AVG Forums - Weekly Overview: 14/2012].
However, you do need the latest version in order to benefit from these new patches. If you aren't already running a 2012 version, the first step would be to upgrade now.

I was prompted to download newest version of itunes, which I did and the restarted the computer. Now it says itunes is currupted or installed wrong. What do I do so that I don't loose my music and apps.
Let's try a repair install of iTunes first.
Restart the PC. If you're using Vista or 7, now head into your Uninstall a program control panel, select "iTunes" and then click "Repair". If you're using XP, head into your Add or Remove Programs control panel, select "iTunes", click "Change" and then click "Repair".

Due to security vulnerabilities, rolling back to Firefox 4.0.1 is not recommended.
If Firefox disabled some add-ons (especially extensions), it likely is because they include a list of compatible Firefox versions and haven't yet been updated for Firefox 5. If they worked on Firefox 4, there is a good chance they will work on Firefox 5.
You can force Firefox to ''ignore'' add-on version restrictions by (what else) installing an add-on. Then you can test whether the add-ons important to you actually work in Firefox 5.

How high in itunes new versions can I go with 10.39?
I have to stay with 10.39 for my primary software. I have itunes 7.3 installed but it won't recognize my Pioneer DVR-110 burner. When I try to burn a CD itunes says "No burner or disc burning software found."
I noticed in the advanced settings for durning a tiny little caveat about "must have 10.4."
So, what itunes version must I drop back to in order to burn a CD on my G4 running 10.39? And is it stll avalable at Apple.com?
Totast works fine with the Pioneer on this computer.

Home Sharing is designed to work on your local network not across the internet/cloud.
Stuff is accessed under the Computers column where your local iTunes library on a local computer would appear.
Home Sharing would share your iTunes content (i.e. stuff stored in itunes on the computer, not in the cloud) with AppleTV or an iPad etc on the SAME network.
AppleTV2 will not be able to see itunes content on the work computer over the internet. It's not designed to. if the work computer was on the home network it would.
iCloud is in it's infancy and is not a mature product - iTunes TV Show purchases appear on AppleTV, but currently music does not unless you are subscribed to iTunes Match. I find this rather odd to be honest, along with the inability to buy music on AppleTV2. Movies purchased in iTunes are not authorised for iCloud viewing currently either.
Maybe it has something to do with iTunes Match 'getting in the way' - i think they assume you'll use that whereas you really want to be able to access Purchased music from the cloud without subscribing to itunes Match which is overkill for some.

The new version does not work with joomla
When I am asked to upgrade my firefox version (to 3.6) I cannot do certain functions with my joomla template. Example; I cannot upload any images. I have to convert back to the 3.5.9 version in order to do this task. I need help. I want the upgrade, but I cannot afford to lose any functions in order to up date my site.
