Downloaded New Version.....I've tried everything..nothing is working..HELP!
Today i downloaded the newest version of iTunes 6.0.2.23....and i ran the installation and just as it looks to end, the InstallShield window says this message exactly as it follows...
The iTunes for Windows installer has completed.
The installation was interrupted before iTunes could be complety installed.
The system has not been modified. To install this program at a later time, run the installation again.
Click Finish to exit the wizard.
I've tried everything on the iTunes support site, tried disabling Norton, the whole nine yards, and still nothing has helped...somebody please help me with this problem!!!!
Also, I still have the iTunes shortcut on my desktop, but it says the shortcut cannot be found. On my hard drive, there is no record of iTunes at all. Quicktime is still on my hard drive, but thats not the important one for me.

I am worried about downloading the latest version of yosemite on my macbook pro "10.7.5" for the reason that downloading the latest version for iphones actually killed my phone.
IT would not turn off anymore and the battery died in about 3 hrs even without use.

Since the new downloads on my phone ""which is useless now"" i am sooo upset at them for not caring about the amount of money it cost me for their wrongful versions.
I can't afford to lose my computer as well as the phone just for new versions?.As long as you don't have any carpware on your Mac such a so called "cleanup" software, AV software, memory cleanup apps or the like, you should not have any problems at all.
If you are that concerned with Yosemite then I would suggest that you create a partition and install and test Yosemite on the partition.
Once you have tested in its own partition when you find that are no problems then you can move it to your production partition.
Since I am a member of the beta test team, I always run the beta code in its own partition. When I am going to do some testing I reboot to the partition with the beta code and test over there. -

Help on removing black background from pre-keyed footage - tried everything, won't work, help!

I have Adobe Premiere Pro CS6, and up until now, I've had no problem working with pre-keyed footage. I usually place the footage into my timeline, and then would choose a blending mode such as "screen" or "multiply" to erase the black or white background. Except this time, nothing works! I've tried importing different footage, worked with opacity levels, and tried updating all my Adobe applications, downloaded Quicktime 7, etc. etc.
I am still somewhat amateur to all of Premiere Pro, but up until now, I've had an easy time with everything. Any help you can give would be appreciated!

Well, I figured out what I was doing wrong. It is extremely embarrassing to admit this, but I was only looking at the footage itself I wanted to change. When i placed it over the other footage, it wasn't blocking it out anymore like it was before (if that makes any sense, I hope it does). Anyway, the blending modes worked perfectly, and I am almost done now with my simple project. I'm going to save your answers, though, because I know I will need to refer to this in the future.

HT2688 After downloading new version of iTunes, home sharing no longer working.
I have a home network of 2 Mac Minis and a MacBook Pro, in different parts of the house, mainly sharing music. SInce I downloaded the latest version of iTunes on the three computers (between 10th and 12th of June 2013) the three computers iTunes secreens no longer register the other libraries. I have checked that home sharing etc are switched on. Any suggestions? Thanks

If you followed the instructions in the support article exactly (leaving the machine off for two minutes), then it has a hardware fault. Take it to an Apple Store or other authorized service provider for repair.

I Was trying to update to the latest version; i uninstall to download new version because it wasn't letting me update. Now it wouldn't open at all because "The file"iTunes.Library.itl"cannot be read because it was created by a newer version of iTunes".:( How do i go back to last install or make this new version works?
Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
When you get it all working make a backup!

i didnt have issues with itunes before...but pc asked to download new version. i did. when i click itunes i get my original music, but when i click store...i get nothing. i watched tutorial....but still cant open itunes store. im looking for music to buy.

Internet and firefox worked, i downloaded new version which would not work due to proxy settings. I then deleted download and thought i could revert to current version but now I am unable to connect to the internet at all using mozilla or explorer. My internet connection is fine as Im able to use my laptop. Please help im not very good with computers. Thanks.
