I downloaded the latest itunes update an iOS update, and now my computer doesn't recognize my itunes. What should I do?

I'm having the same problem. Mine do not show up in the purchased apps. It seems like I had this problem before with a different upgrade & was able to resolve it by emailing the question to Apple directly. Now I can't seem to find how to do that on their website or if it's even an option. I guess we're just supposed to solve these problems ourselves.

CateThere are separate, dedicated license numbers for Macintosh and Windows.
You need to get on the phone to call Adobe Customer Service and request a "crossgrade", which involves a letter of destruction of the Windows version. There's a "nominal" charge. -

iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting

Once these steps are processed, attempt to accept the terms and conditions.
Also, you can make a purchase via the iTunes Store on the computer. This should allow you to bypass accepting the terms and conditions on the device.

Just downloaded newest itunes version. Now, it refuses to open, with error message, "This version of iTunes has not been correctly localized for this language. Please run the English version." Any thoughts?
I had the same problem, I reinstalled and lost all my music now I cant even retrive it from emusic where i purchased music....

Ive reset full iPad numerous times, connected to itunes on pc and downloaded newest software and still having the same problems!! Ive already been to the apple store the 1st time this happened and was told it just needed the new software uploaded, but 1 week later the same thing started happening again. I live about 10 miles from an apple store and its right in the town center so a nightmare for parking. Cant be bothered with the hassle of going all the way there when there not much help!

What version of the OS X are you running? Go to the Apple in the upper left corner and select About This Mac and report the Version back here.

My laptop crashed completely and I need to authorize a new laptop to enable it sync with itunes. I have 5 computers authorized so I am unable to add another one so I need to unauthorize the bad laptop that is no longer working. How do I authorize new Laptop?
You can only deauthorize everything to do that. Click on Account under Quick Links. You can deauthorize all five there. But you can only do this once a year.

If the purchased content is not playing, delete the songs from the Music app by swiping at the song. Then go through the process of downloading the track again.

I clicked the button in my setting thatz is saying "software update iOS 6.1.2. It turned off and now My iPad 2 is stuck on a black screen that has the iTunes symbol and a charger that I'm guessing means "plug into iTunes". I did so and then waited four hours to download something. And now it is saying that its going to update my iPad but it isn't working. I tried to "update" twice. iTunes sends me to website after asking me to download newest iTunes verision. If I download newest version from website it replaces my old version completely including my songs and playlists. How do I update my version of iTunes without replacing it?
Don't worry, new installation will still keep your playlist and library.
