Downloaded OS X but cannot find it on my drive?

iTunes showed I have downloaded OS X, but I cannot find it on my drive and it won't let me redownload.  Where might I find it?

Welcome to Apple Support Communities
The Mac App Store puts the Mavericks installer in /Applications, so open a Finder window, select Applications in the sidebar and you will see the OS X Mavericks installer. Double-click it and install OS X Mavericks.
If you don't see the OS X Mavericks installer in Applications, make sure there are no external drives connected, because OS X Mavericks may be there
