Downloaded Photoshop Elements 11. Cannot open a .7Zfile

Just downloaded Photoshop Elements 11. A file, 'Photoshop Elements_11_WWEFDJ.7Z' appeared alongside the normal program file in Downloads.
I cannot open this .7Z file, on my Windows 7 Computer. The Application itself seems to have downloaded properly and appears to be functional.
Please advise me what the .7Z file is, and is it necessary for me to open it, if so, how?

Please click on the below link

Then erase everything from the address bar and copy and paste the below link in the same window
http://prodesigntools.com/trials2/AdobeProducts/PSE/11/win32/PhotoshopElements_11_WWEFDJ.e xe
and press enter.
Once the file is downloaded. Make sure both the files i.e the file that you downloaded and the 7z file are in the same location.
Then double click on the exe file it will extract the contents from the 7z file.

I downloaded Photoshop Elements and cannot get it to install right.

I have been having problems with installing my purchased Adobe Photoshop software for two weeks and I am little upset about it because I paid Adobe $85.00 for the software and it won't install correctly. I e-mailed the company about it and have never heard back from them.

The Photoshop Elements forum has great volunteers who can get you through the setup.
You might also want to know Customer Care has a chat or phone options if you have difficulty installing.

All your pictures will remain safe even after uninstalling the program. Your pictures are saved to your system in form of catalog present at C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\Catalogs\<your catalog><br />When you reinstall the program you can open this catalog and view all your photos again.

Since you're a new Mac user, you've probably used Safari for the download. First check in the Downloads folder which should be in your Dock. And/or, open Preferences in Safari (Cmd - ,) and in "General" see what "Save downloaded files to:" says.

I cannot download Photoshop Elements 13. My HP laptop computer spent about 20 minutes downloading files from a first link. When I click on the second .exe link, I get a dialogue box saying all the files are not downloaded. This has happened to me before and I don't understand what to do.

you need both the exe and the 7z files. put both in the same directory and double click the exe.

Which version of OS X do you have? It's not clear from your post whether "installed an upgrade" means you just installed PSE 13 as an upgrade or you installed an update to PSE 13, like ACR 9 or 13.1. Please clarify.

I did try to uninstall and reinstall. It messed up my computer. I had to "RESTORE" from the prior days backup. This was not helpful at all. I'm used to losing all my stuff when I connect to iTunes, that's a whole other issue, but now I'm completely banned from any updates to my phone at all. Geeze.......

I cannot download Photoshop Elements 10

I cannot download Photoshop Elements 10 that I purchased from adobe website by using download link in order comfirmation email. In the begining, the download speed was about 200 kb/sec but after 10 mins, the download speed was down continuously which was below 30 kb/sec. I have waited for 1 day, the download progressed only half way and finally self shut down. I have to re-download again, and now the download speed is only 55 kb/sec.
I already checked my internet connection, it works normally (the internet speed is about 874.8 kb/sec). Please help.

Your difficulties do appear to be related to your internet connection. If you are connecting wirelessly then you may want to try connecting with an Ethernet cable. Beyond that you might also want to look at your local network and ensure you aren't utilizing any high bandwidth applications such as torrents or streamed videos.

Cannot download photoshop elements 6.0! Is it me?

I am trying to download Photoshop Elements 6.0 to a macbook pro. I purchased it fine. It downloads after about 40 minutes but does not launch. I double click on the setup folder and it goes through the motions but then i get errors saying elements did not work (sorry I don't have the exact text). This has now happened FOUR times. I am so frustrated as I have things I wanted to do tonight.

Barbara, the plot thickens. When I went to "setup" folder on Elements disk, it stopped midway with a "boot" error which I forgot to write down.
We had downloaded the trial version so I went to install from it. It went into the installation but started with "repairing shared compenents" which took a long time. It finally changed to "repairing Photoshop Elements" and again worked a long time but finally finished and said that the installation was successful.
When we tried to launch Elements, it refused (bounced once and stopped).
I went to the disk utility on the hard drive and did a "repair permissions". It found many on the "system" and repaired them successfully. I did a verify of the hard disk and it was reported as okay.
I then tried to launch elements and this time it bounced several times and then stopped, refusing to launch.
We were able to launch "Bridge" but when we selected an image and went to File/Open/with Photoshop Elements 6, it refused to launch.
One possible pertinent fact might be that when we did the setup on this new iMac, we transferred files from the old Power PC G4 via an Ethernet connection. We had previously trashed the old Elements application in order to clear enough hard disk space on the G4 to do an archive and install of OS 10.4.1., The G4 had frozen and wasn't able to let us boot it up.
I am thinking that I should have done an "uninstall" before trying to install it in order to get rid of any left over files from the transfer.
Is this possibly my problem? If so, how do I get to an uninstall on the Elements application disk. Perhaps I should do that and try to install it all over.

I cannot download Photoshop Elements 13 - I purchased it through the Adobe store...when I check the order - I cannot download...there's a message - order pending check back in 24 hours. I ordered it 3 days ago. There's no telephone number to ask for help. I got on the Chat line with someone I allowed him to take over my computer and it still didn't download. It stopped after about 30 minutes....he was sending me a message did it download....but when I tried to reply...the chat line was not working. I have used the trial version of Photoshop Elements 12 before and had no problem downloading it. My suggestion to anyone wanting to purchase Photoshop 13 is to use the free version first - then when your 30 or 60 days runs out....order it then through Adobe's offer. This is my day off and I have worked for 3 hours trying to get help. Now all I want to do is get a refund - and I cannot even find a place to do that....Can someone please give me some advice?

Downloaded Photoshop Elements to a Windows 7 computer and it won't open

It appeared that I successfully downloaded photoshop elements to my computer, restarted computer and now when I click on the photoshop icon on my desktop, it won't even open for me. I have the current Flash player, not sure what else to try. Any help?

Please try and check if you are able to open Adobe Photoshop Elements from this location:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 12\ PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe
If not please try to rename following folders
Try to rename SLCacje to Slcache.old
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe
and
SLStore to Slstore.old
C:\ProgramData\Adobe\SLStore
and Right Click on the Photoshop Elements 12 icon and run as administrator
let us know if this works.
