Downloaded portable AND full version - how to remove portable version?

Running Windows 8 on surfacepro, I unfotunately installed thunderbird portable (English) and full version (German). Apparently they run separately (different address books, account settings etc.), and I only need the full version. Moreover, sometimes also the English version is the full version - really confusing! However, I cannot select the full version as default, nor deinstall the portable version for I only see one icon/programme, and I have no clue at what occasion/action I get the English or the German version....
Besides it would be lovely to import my address book/mailing lists from my old computer: is there any way?

You've checked all your homescreens and app folders for it, and how many homescreens do you have on the iPad - there is a limit of 11 after which apps are only accessible via the iPad's spotlight search screen (swipe your first home screen to the right).

Snowleopard upgrade and full version

I have macbook with leopard. I want to upgrade it into snowleopard. But I found 2 types of dvd, upgrade version and full version. What is the differences and advantages between full and upgrade? If I buy the full version, could I install it in my mac(leopard)? Because I found more easily the mac box set (full version) that is cheap.

The 10.6.3 white retail disk (so called "upgrade disk") sold online at Apple are full version disk of OS X Snow Leopard, however it also has a upgrade installer for OS X versions 10.4 and 10.5.
So if you boot the Mac into 10.4/10.5 and stick the DVD in and double click the upgrader, it will replace 10.4/10.5 with 10.6.3 and leave your programs and files alone.
If you stick the same disk in and boot the machine while holding c or option/alt key down (wired/built in keyboard) you get the opportunity to use Disk Utility (and others) and can erase the entire drive and then install OS X 10.6.3 Snow Leopard fresh. However this disk is sans-free iLife, but can be reinstalled via the 10.5 machine disks.
I don't know the specifics of the full version of the Snow Leopard install disks as I never used them, or what particular advantage they have (free iLife?), but if it requires a erase and install, then that's a disadvantage obviously as you can't carry over your already installed 10.5 programs.

You need to unsync them. If you uses the folder syncing method either remove them from your syncing folder or change which is you syncing folder. Also see:

Separate but valid question: Searching Mozilla Support on this very forum yields no answers as to where to download the full version of the program itself, around which this entire forum has been set up with all the numerous questions in it about the program... yet there is no answer on how and where to actually *GET* the full version of the program... this strongly suggests that the forum administrators went out of their way, to make it difficult to impossible for users to get the FULL VERSION of the program...
There are many valid reasons for needing the full version of the program, don't you think it's pretty incredible that it has always been difficult to download the full version of Firefox? The old page had it buried in between the Acholi and Xhosa languages, even though English (US) is probably needed by millions of users vs. relatively few for Acholi and Xhosa... Millions of users had to go though gymnastics of finding it buried in between all the worlds languages with every consecutive version, and now they completely removed it even from that page...
What is the the reason, and you have to agree there is a reason, for Mozilla preventing us from having the full installation file? And what is the reason, even when the full installation file existed on that page, for this forum to make it almost impossible to find that page when searching the forum, or the entire internet for the official full version download page?

As for blaming this forum for anything having to do with the "all" download page, you must be kidding. That page was always available from the main page using a link that said Systems & Languages and as the link says, it lists all the available systems and languages.

Trial and full version

I have had the trial for 2 days and really like it. I would rather buy the retail version so I can have the manual and the DVD (or CD) rather than just paying for the serial number online.
Once I have the software should I uninstall the trial version and then load the retail full version from the DVD (CD)...or just take the serial number off the retail version I will buy tomorrow at the apple store and authorize the trial version. I don't have anything on the program yet that cannot be deleted. I just took some random pics to test it.
I guess my question is: would the retail version be a cleaner install.

Retail version and Trial are binary identical at a given version level, so there is no point reinstalling. You may want to download the latest update (2.1.3 combo update) from the download site if the trial version is older, after entering your serial number. I tend to prefer the download approach although I've only had one hiccup that may have been due to swupdate.

What application are you taking about?
Safari has the option to remove them in the privacy or security tab of the preferences. Also try 'Safari > Reset Safari' it may allow you to select an option to delete the cookies.
I don't know what 'Juno email' is. If it is failing in a Safari you may want to try another web browser, like Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox?

The copy functionality is like this.....From a summary page which consists a Datatable and checkbox...
I will select a checkbox beside as a copying reference..and click on next..
In the next page I will get a copying reference bean and a drop down select list box consists of 1-10, I will select some value and click on next. then in the next page, I will get selected no of rows of that copying reference. then when I click on finsh , it will add into database...
And the next page will open showing .....status of inserting into database..

Adobe does not sell software that is not the current version. Your best bet is to buy it from an independent seller, e.g. on Amazon.com

RTM is a "full version". There is nowhere to upgrade to from RTM. Maybe, one could call it an 'upgrade' if from Win7 (RTM) to Windows 8.1

Firefox 4 places logo's before the titles in my bookmarks toolbar. I filled the toolbar with very small, abbreviated titles like grewhe, bank, bbclive, ns, hh, hhraw etc.
Have no need for logo's, on the contrary, they cause trouble because they use space.
How to remove the logo's.
