Downloaded song is full of glitches - what to do now?

Well, the topic already says it best - I purchased and downloaded two songs by different artists today, and while the first song is fine, the second song is full of jumps and glitches of which I know shouldn't be there.

What are my options now? I really want a proper version without those annoying errors. Well, who wouldn't?

its even easier now: Recent invoices, that are sent via e-mail, carry a link "report problem".
I've had two corrupted tracks so far, no problems with exchange, though they may ask you to wait a couple of weeks, before reloading the corrupted songs.

I'm having trouble syncing previously downloaded songs and full albums.

For example, I downloaded the iTunes single "Downtown" by Lady Antebellum when it first came out months ago. Today, I downloaded the rest of the album, "Golden" (I ordered the pre-order). Now, once it was in my iTunes, I wanted to adjust the information on "Downtown" so it fell where it should in the album (4 of 12). I highlighted the track, went to "Get Info," and adjusted all of the information to match the album "Golden." However, now instead of making "Downtown" track number four, it puts it at the end of the album and still lists a number 1 next to it.
Any solutions for this, or am I totally SOL?

What happened to my downloaded songs on iphone?

When I download songs from the music app on the iphone sometimes they dissapear and I need to re-download them from the cloud. Why does this happen? Is there a limit to how many can be downloaded on the phone? Does the downloaded songs expire? Some glitch?

I get it a lot, I think it might be if your phone thinks it is going to need the space if you are downloading an app. ALL of my library was deleted off my iPhone when I downloaded a new medical app update.
I think you just have to get used to it. I spoke to Apple about it and they had no idea why it happens.

How do I download songs from iTunes Match for offline or spotty coverage?

I have a 64GB iPhone and want to be able to DOWNLOAD songs from iTunes match for use when I have spotty 3G coverage (or no coverage, or only expensive coverage, or on an airplane). How can I do this? Right now iTunes is not using any of my data storage on my phone for previously downloaded songs for future use (caching).

What you want to do actually has nothing to do with iTunes Match. What you need to do is enable automatic downloads in iTunes. Open iTunes prefs > Store and select the option for, at least, "music" and click OK. Now any music you buy will be downloaded to your iTunes library automatically. But iTunes will need to be running for this to happen.

Other people have been having similar problems with songs over a number of days, I assume that there has been a problem with Apple's servers.
Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting the incomplete tracks from your iTunes library and redownload them via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if they re-download in the same state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find those songs and use the 'Report a Problem' link.

When I thing of the Thousands of dollars I have spent to get a 2000 song library and how Applle keeps screwing Windows users (no back-up of songs) I just think what a fool I was.

I did think about that and if I have to I will do that, however there are about 50 songs. I have closed and reopened iTunes several times and I am sure that I have the latest version. It fails right away but I can click on the cloud download icon and download the song that it failed on ... therefore it is not that song "or any one song" causing the issue. Any ideas?

Delete and redownload the ones that don't work if doing so is free in your country.

It's probably asking you to verify the security code found on the back of your credit card.

I know it can be frustrating when you are waiting for content to download to your iPhone from the iTunes Store. There are a few steps I would recommend in this situation. Please read over and follow the steps in the attached article.

If your download was interrupted using your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
From the Home screen, tap the iTunes app.
For iPhone or iPod touch, tap More > Downloads. For iPad, tap Downloads.
Enter your account name and password if prompted.
Tap the blue download arrow to resume.
If you can't complete the download on your iOS device, you can download it in iTunes on your Mac or PC and then sync it to your iOS device. You can also transfer purchases from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to a computer.

You would have to see which type of things it is blocking. Most likely to do with copyright law of your country or where the content is alowed to be distributed. If it's a genuine problem you should maybe try using a proxy server though.

i do understand that. if you purchased the music on the phone. its still available to you. if you go in itunes on your computer. go to purchases. there should be all the music you have purchased. there you can download the song if it isn't already and then sync it to your phone which will add the song to the phone. have you tried to power off phone and then try to download again. the itunes way is just another option.

Finish the download on your computer in iTunes and then sync the app to the iPad and then delete it. You will probably have to let it fully download before you can delete it.
You can try restarting the iPad and see if the download will resume - Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Yoy can try this as well and see if the download will resume. Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Look in iTunes and see if there is a pending download in there that might be causing the delay. If there is a download there, try to finish that one first.
