Downloaded song tonight- Now my computer can't find it

I bought the song and downloaded it without any problems. It shows up in my "Purchased" playlist so I know it WAS there. Now when I go to look for it on my hard drive or nano it can't be found. The only thing I can think of is that the title of the song "Track O4" is the same as another song by a different artist in the same playlist. But that wouldn't effect the Purchased music playlist either. I'm grabbing at straws here. I checked my purchase history online and I own it, but is there any recourse through Itunes? It's not the 99 cents to buy it again, but how do I know the same problem won't strike twice?

It strikes me as a bit odd that the name of the song purchased from the iTS is "Track 04". Was that actually the name of the song or did you change it? If so, perhaps that will provide a clue as to the missing song's whereabouts.
Other than that, I don't know what might have happened to the song but you might want to search your computer and see if there's any sign of it.
Other than that your options are limited.
Apple's policy is clear: iTS purchases can be downloaded only once. It is your responsibility to make back-ups.
That being said, at their discretion they have made one-time exceptions to this policy. You can ask for an exception by submitting the form at the bottom of this page:

Well let's see if we can help you get set up. Have you got any 2.4 GHz cordless phones in the house and if so try unplugging them and do a hard reset of the express.
1. unplug the express
2. press the reset button
3. while pressing the reset button plug in the base station
4. keep holding the rest button till you see 4 green lights flash
you may have to hold it for 30 seconds or so
if this doesn't work try plugging the express in right beside the computer and then going through the airport setup assistant

I have an imac, and everytime I plug my phone in the sound plays, it charges, the camera window app pops up telling me no camera is attached (like it always does) but my itunes wont show the phone as connected.

I have same problem with 3gs and macbook pro since ios5 its not recogniseing the phone in itunes or iphoto so cant sync anything!! From your OLD computer...
Copy your ENTIRE iTunes FOLDER to an External Drive... and then from the External Drive to your New Computer..

I downloaded songs that now will not play completely on my touch. There were no error messages, and I see them fine on my touch. They get to a certain point in the song and jump to the next song.

Do they play ok on your computer's iTunes ? If they do then try deleting them from your iPod and then re-sync them back to it.
If they also don't play on your computer's iTunes, then depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting the incomplete tracks from your iTunes library and redownload them via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if they re-download in the same state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find those songs and use the 'Report a Problem' link.

You should be able to connect the iPod to your computer's iTunes and do File > Devices > Transfer Purchases to copy them over and you can then sync them to your other iPod.

Ok, if reinstalling iTunes as suggested above does not resolve the issue of iTunes recognising the iPad then try this -
Firstly, make sure that your device is not hidden (left hand pane). If it just reads device then toggle between SHOW and HIDE.
Secondly, try all the other ports on your computer, even a number of times.
Thirdly, make sure your lead /connections are no faulty.
Fourthly, if you have another computer try plugging your device into it without taking any action, give it a moment, remove it and try it back in your other computer again.

As for making your new laptop your 'home computer' follow these instructions -
1. Without connecting your iPad to your computer -
A) Install iTunes / make sure the latest version of iTunes is installed.
B) Go to the Store tab and click on "Authorise This Computer".
C) Go to Edit, click on Preferences [iTunes and Preferences on Macs] and click on Devices. Put a check mark in the box next to "Prevent iPods/iPhones/iPads from syncing automatically". Click OK and close iTunes.
2. Connect your iPad to your computer -
A) Start iTunes (it will not start automatically because of the action at 1(C) above).
B) Right click on your iPad under Devices in the left column. Select "Transfer purchases".
C) When the transfer has completed, right click on your iPad again and select "Backup".
D) When the backup has completed, left click on your iPad, click on the Apps tab, and put a check mark in the box next to "Sync Apps", and then click on "Apply" (bottom right).
E) Unless you want to always do a manual sync (as I do), go back to Edit, Preferences [iTunes and Preferences on Macs] and uncheck the box next to "Prevent your iPod.....".
F) Finally, on your iPad, check that everything is syncing properly. If not, go back to iTunes and check all settings.
NB You should not lose any apps. However, any 'purchased' missing apps can be downloaded again FOC. As with updates, this must be done with the Apple ID under which they were originally 'purchased'.

Hey there, it's probably a common question. Is there any way to download songs from a different computer with out having to reformat the ipod and lose all my songs i have on there. I've tried it once and it wiped my ipod clean of all my songs. Very annoying. cheers

On the computer you have initially the set the iPod up on and for, you can enable the "manually manage music and videos" option from under the iPod's Summary tab in iTunes. This will allow you to sync contect to the iPod from multiple computers. Otherwise, there is no other way.

Mx922 not working after ink changed. now computer can't find the printer! Help!

Computer said the ink was low. Changed the ink when it finally stopped because of an insufficent amount of ink. Now the computer can't detect the printer, let alone the ink change! I have read some other posts and tried to reset the drivers, that didn't work either. Now I can't even reinstall the drivers because the computer can't detect the printer. The printer is on and says that it's connected to the wireless network. It says my only other option is to connect via the USB, well Canon does not provide this model with a USB cord. So what now I have to go out and get a USB cord so that I can use my EXPENSIVE printer! That is why I paid more, so I wouldn't have to use wires!
Please if anyone has any solutions that I have overlooked please tell me! I really need to print for work.

I recently made the same mistake. The thing to do is download the new Quicken Essentials for MAC. After you install the new version follow the instructions on how to transfer your old files. There is a way, it just takes a little time and, if I remember correctly, it takes the info from your quicken backup files. Hopefully you had auto back up on and your files are intact. I didn't and reconstruction was a bear but entirely possible. The new Quicken is quite different but seems to work quite well. Good luck.
