Downloaded songs are incomplete

Hey there!
Yesterday night i wanted to download a album of coldplay and a singel song. The download tooked very long -normally its done in 2 minutes.
But it tooked over 1 h!
But finally the songs where singed as downloaded and had been importet to my mediathek.
The album i´d downloaded is not complete.
There is no titel missing, but each song breaks up after 1 to 2 minutes.
Where to go to solve the problem ?
By this chance i want to say the appel system related to support their custumers from itunes is quite poor.
No single hotline u can call and emailquestion a supposed to be answerd  in 72 hours!
Maybe you can help me

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the dodgy tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the items that are not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the items, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items.

If you are in a country where re-downloading is possible (iTunes in the Cloud and iTunes Match Availability by Country - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5085), delete the track and download again (Downloading [using iOS or computer] past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store - http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519).  See tips on downloading in https://discussions.apple.com/message/19097773
Select the store on the left side of iTunes.
Click on Purchased on the right side under Quick Links.
You can re-download your available previous purchases.
If you cannot download a second time, contact iTunes Store support staff through the report a problem links in your account history or,
iTunes Customer Service Contact - http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact.html > Get iTunes support via Express Lane > iTunes > iTunes Store

  • II bought an album on itunes store, but my songs are incomplete. what should i do?

I bought an album on itunes store, but my songs are incomplete.
in the middle of the music, the reproduction is silent or jump to the next track.

If you will look through oother threads, you will find that it does indeed work.
You seem to be having an individual problem, if it is not working.
You can try contacting itunes support:

  • TS1424 I downloaded an album, but most of the songs are incomplete.  The itunes list shows the appropriate song length, but the actual songs are not completely downloaded - meaning it does not give me the option of finishing the download.

I purchased a complete album, but most songs are only about a minute in duration rather than their actual lengths.  The times showing indicate the full song was downloaded, but in reality, its like listening to a sample.  I want to get entire songs, but the itunes list shows it as downloaded, so it does not seem to give me the option to download again.  I sure would like to get what I paid for.  Any suggestions?

  • Please help!! Downloaded songs are missing!

The iTunes was closed in some reason while I'm downloading songs.
I've reboot it afterwards and clicked "Check for Available Downloads",
It says "All purchases has been downloaded from this account."
I've been looking through for hundred times,
but i just cant find the songs in the iTunes.
What can i do about it?
    thanks for your attention

Normally a purchase is only removed from the download queue when it has been successfully downloaded and installed in your library. Unsuccessful transfers should resume next time you start iTunes and/or remain availible with *Store > Check for Available Downloads*.
It might be work checking the Downloads folder in your iTunes Media folder as well as the folder with the rest of the album tracks in case the files completed downloading but were not added to the library. You could also view your library sorted in Date Added order in case some weird aspect of the tags is making the tracks appear in a different place from the rest of the album.
If you still can't find them use the "Report a problem" link in your account history and explain the issue clearly & politely detailing exactly which tracks you are missing. Normal turnaround for a response is about 48 hours and I would assume they will requeue the missing items.

  • Non-iTunes downloaded songs are becoming corrupted, starting with album art

I have Windows Vista, and I just got a new refurbished iPod touch 64gb 5th gen.
For some reason, songs that I have downloaded (not from iTunes) are becoming corrupted?? some are even old songs I have downloaded months ago but most of this seems to be with songs stuff I haven downloaded recently. This literally just happened yesterday. The album art is showing up on iTunes as half downloaded or with a broken, glitchy bar after I sync to my iPod. Then, most of those songs are corrupted, making those skipping noises in the song. What is even stranger is that most of these messed up songs are ONLY messed up on iTunes, on my iPod they're fine, but then some of them get corrupted on both. I use a "Passport" EXTERNAL hard drive, could there be a problem with that?? Everything I have downloaded is saved to that external hard drive and like I said, even some of the old songs I downloaded months, even years ago are having the album art problem and some of them the sound quality corruption.
I tried restarting and re downloading iTunes hitting the "repair" option, but I think this may be the external hard drives problem?
Does anyone know what I should do? Am I asking this question in the correct place?

I can't seem to get album art to download into some of my songs. I compare my song information with the information that's in the iTunes music store & it matches word for word but it won't download the art. I can understand if iTunes didn't have the album but they do & the art wont download at all. I click "get album art" so many times & nothing shows up.

  • Many of my songs are incomplete and will cut out towards the end

I've had this problem for several years now. I have over 4,000 songs (most of which were purchased through iTunes and the rest imported from CDs). A lot my songs will play for a little while and cut out at the end. Sometimes it's just silence but lately the next song will just start playing. When I go into my iPhone to check it out it still has the album artwork and everything from the previous song.
I've contacted support several times about this over the years. The first time I was told to connect to my computer and reload all my songs. This seemed to fix many of the songs but then I would notice other songs had the problem. I was then told to redownload all of my purchases and to sync again. Same thing happened. It seemed alright for a while until the same problem occured. The third time I tried to get it fixed I was advised to delete the song from my phone and redownload it through the iTunes app. This seemed to fix each individual song (though its not very practical). But now even that no longer works. I delete the song and redownload it only to find that it still skips to the next song without registering it. It's driving me nuts and, while I can't prove it, I'm pretty sure the problem is growing. I notice songs that played fine a few weeks ago do the same thing. Considering the amount of money I've spent purchasing music it's maddening not being able to listen to a complete song.
Is there any fix for this? I've found similar posts but no new advice. Any help that anyone can provide would be welcome.
Some additional info...this happened when I had my iPod touch, my iPhone 4 and now my iPhone 5. My software is up to date.
    Thanks.

Assuming you are in a region where you are allowed to redownload your past music purchases, delete the broken tracks from your iTunes library, go to the iTunes Store home page, click the Purchased link from the Quick Links section in the right-hand column, then select Music and Not on this computer. You should find download links for your tracks there.
If you don't see them straight away it may help to restart iTunes. While downloading select the Downloads widget near the top-right (iTunes 11) or in the entry in the left-hand column (older iTunes) and make sure Allow Simultaneous Downloads is unticked.
If the problem persists, or that facility is not yet available in your region, contact the iTunes Store support staff through the report a problem links in your account history, or via Contact Support.

  • I purchased an album but three songs are incomplete.  How do I get the complete tracks?

Yesterday I used the iTunes store to purchase and download an album.  Three of the songs won't play all the way through.  When I try to the option "Create AAC Version" these three songs give an error message, but the other songs work just fine.  How can I get the complete versions of the songs?  I don't think I should have to pay for the songs again, but it seems like this may be the only way.  Any ideas?
By the way, iTunes version 10.6.1.7, Windows 7 Home Premium

Delete the three tracks from your library, sending them to recycle bin, then download them again from your purchased history. If the problem persists use the "report a problem" links from your account history to contact the iTunes store support staff.

  • My songs are incomplete

Songs I've purchased from iTunes recently aren't complete. Even though iTunes says the songs have been downloaded, the songs will abruptly cut off while being played like it's missing the rest of it.
    Why is this happening?

Nothing? Is it perhaps because the downloading isn't completing? This has so far happened to two albums I've purchased on itunes.

  • Downloaded songs are deleted

    hi,
    i have an iPhone 5s.
I recently downloaded ios8 by plugging my phone into a computer and installed from there. Update went fine and all my music was restored from a sync on the computer pre installing ios8.
This  was the first time I've synced it for a long time.
since this time, when I download a new song on the phone, it's deleted within a week or so.
i have turned off the 'prevent iPods & iphones syncing automatically'
    but  it still happens!!
    HELP!

Open itunes, connect iphone, click File>Transfer Purchases

  • Downloaded songs are gone

I buyed a new pc, so i installed itunes again, being convinced that the songs would still be on my account. Apparently they are not and i can't find them anywhere? :/
What do i have to do to get them back on this system?
    Thx

I am sorry to say that is the case, (check here http://www.apple.com/legal/itunes/ww/ (i don't know your country). But apple is not responsible for your loss of music whatever the circumstance.
there might be someone here, who if you give enough detailed information might be able to solve your problem.
I'm puzzled though until very recently you can't put itunes purchases on your MP3 player, they are only for your ipod. But if you bought them all recently then thats feasible but if you didn't then its strange.

  • Itunes has deleted my downloaded music. I still have my purchased songs in my library and I still have my downloaded music on my computer but the downloaded songs don't show up in my library. How do I fix this?

itunes has removed my downloaded music from my library. I still have all of my purchased songs and videos but the downloaded songs are missing. I still have the downloaded songs on my cpu just not in my itunes library anymore. How do I get these songs back in my itunes library?

Copy them from the other user account you were logged in with to your own account.  Or if you are using iTunes 10.3 or later and live in the use, redownload them via iCloud beta.  See this article for more information.

  • Help-- all downloaded songs deleted

When I wasn using iTunes just now, I got a message that said "iTunes cannot recognize some songs because the software is not recognized" (something to that effect, I don't remember the exact wording). I pressed OK and all of my downloaded songs are now deleted. My ipod was plugged in so they got erased from the ipod as well. The songs uploaded from CD are still there. How can I get them back? Why did this error message happen? I have the most recent version of iTunes, and I can't think of how this happened. Thanks in advance.

I think the new update for itunes has a bug on it cause last night it gave me a message for a song saying something like I didn't have permission or the song was copyrighted. I have had the same music on my Pod for months and that just happened after I downloaded the new Update.

  • Songs are all gone from Ipod

My Ipod model number is MB263LL. I have not used my ipod for awhile and it seems that all of my downloaded songs are gone. I bought some songs from the Itune store and they are not in my Ipod for use. What could have happened? Please advise?

If you "wiped" the computer, the music will obviously no longer be there. If you then reinstalled iTunes and synced your iPod, it would have synced to an empty iTunes library, any songs on the iPod would be erased (because there are no songs in the iTunes library you synced to).
If you purchased songs from the iTunes Store, they may (?) allow you to re-download songs based on your purchase history. I say "may" because you are responsible for making backups of your downloaded songs, and they are not required to allow a second download (it's not a feature of the iTunes Store that you can re-download previously purchased songs). Note: There is a command under +File > Library > Back Up to Disc+ to help with doing a backup, even if you don't have a second hard drive to use for the backup.
You can contact iTunes Store support by following one of the topic links here
    http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/store/
until you get to a link that says "Still need help?" with a +Contact Us+ button. Through this link, you can send an email and explain your situation. They may reset the songs you previously purchased (minus any songs that are no longer available), and the songs can be downloaded again through iTunes.
