Downloaded songs not showing up

I purchased some songs but they aren't showing up in my library. Any thoughts?

Well, after you purchase a song, you have to go to the "purchased" list tand drag it over to the library. If the song doesn't how up on the "purchased" list, then you can click on "report a problem" and send an email to an iTunes worker and he will redownload the songs for you for free.

Plus one cannot view downloads, and one cannot easily sleect a song and see genius suggestions as before.Things are not looking good for Apple these days.

I Am having a similar issue with my husbands iTunes match. I restored a 2011 iMac and decided to download all my husbands music via iTunes match. Apart from taking ages, he only has 2,500 songs on the match, it greyed out lots of songs, which later I found out said that they were 'waiting' also, loads are missing. I tried following someone else's thread and tried to delete the greyed out ones so I can download again but I fear I may have completely deleted them. Also, I have a lot of duplicates, both on iCloud and both downloaded! What's happening? My iTunes appear to be behaving ok!

Songs not showing up in iPod. Please help!

Okay, today I noticed that there are select songs not showing up on my iPod touch.
I make playlists for all my music...and some songs will be in the playlists, and some aren't.
So when I search for the songs with artists or song name, it's actually ON my iPod and I can play it. Just not in the playlist I put it in.
So I check on iTunes to make sure they are in the playlist, and they are. And playable.
So why aren't some of the songs selectable in the playlists? They are on the iPod, but just not in the playlists. PLEASE HELP

Bridge cannot open or process any raw files. Only ACR can. Bridge is just a file browser.
Have you tried (a) Repairing Permissions with Apple's Disk Utility and/or (b) purging the cache in the offender folder(s) in Bridge through the Tools menu?

Previously purchased songs NOT showing as purchased in the itunes store. I dont want to re-buy something I already have. How can I get this fixed?

Go to song view, add iCloud status. To do this, go to menu > view > view options and tick box. This will tell you what has been matched, uploaded, purchased, duplicate, ineligible or waiting. As the scan is stalling with one track remaining, find this track - it is likely to have a icloud status of waiting.
Suggest that you delete from library then select update iTunes Match. Once match completes try readding track - by the way how. Big is the track and whatever is its media type?

So, I bought some songs on Itunes on my Iphone. One song fully downloaded and now shows up in my music, but the other one will consistently appear to finish downloading, then not show up in my Music at all. I've tried several times. Help!!!

I've been trying to download this song for two days. ITunes says that it downloaded, and that I purchased it, but it will NOT appear in my music. The weird thing is that I bought two songs simultaneously and the first one successfully appeared and I can listen to it. Totally fine. However, the second one will finish downloading, then disappear. I bought the same song two more times off of different albums just to make sure there wasn't a problem there. Nope. Everything with that song title will not show up. Rhapsody in Blue, by the way. I also bought it on my iPod touch just to make sure there, and it successfully downloaded and I can listen to it on my iPod without a problem. Again, it just won't go on my IPHONE. It's frustrating. Any advice or help?!

Download Manager not showing songs

Okay, so I've been trying to figure this out....
I want to get the PC copies of songs that I have on my phone. So I downloaded the MP3 Download Manager.
I probably have 10-15 songs that I've downloaded to my phone from the VCast Store. I am showing 0 songs currently on my MP3 Download Manager (and yes, I am signed in.)
Can someone tell me what's wrong with this picture?

Nevermind. Apparently the MP3 Download Manager is a non-functional piece of software, created by Verizon to take up space on my computer.
I kept searching, found the VCast Music with Rhapsody program and the first thing it did when installed was ask me which of the following songs I wanted to download, and it showed me all of the songs I had been looking for. -.-

Songs not showing up on my iPhone 4 and iPad 1 on iOS 5.0.1?

I have about one third of my music library not showing up on my iPhone 4 and iPad 1, even though it is ticked and everything, on iTunes it says that it should have been synced...
For example, I have 'only sync ticked songs and videos to my iPhone/iPad' enabled in iTunes, and all songs by Katy Perry are ticked, but only about 4 show up? the songs that didnt show up are there if I look for them through albums, but they don't show up under the artist 'Katy Perry'.
Basically, iTunes says the songs are synced, but they aren't on the iDevice.
Also, I don't have match enabled, is it something to do with iCloud taking this music 'off' my iDevice because I didn't download it from the iTunes Store?

I guess I'm confused. Are you trying to sync with match? or is match off?
If you are trying to sync with match on then go to settings>music> and make sure that the show all music toggle is turned on.
If you are trying to sync with match off and are trying to put files onto your phone without usiing match then uncheck the music tab under your phones information on your computer and then let it sync and take everything off. Then recheck the music box under the music tab and go to your summary page and make sure that the box that says sync only checked music is selected and resync. Sometimes you have to take everything off before you can get it to resync and put stuff back on.
Again, if you talking about what you see with match turned ON, on your ios device then make sure that the toggle for show all music is turned on.
You cannot sync with your computer and itunes match at the same time. You have to do one or the other.
Please let me know if I misunderstood your question or did not answer it properly.

Purchased songs not showing up in account

I have music that i have purchased on a pervious device, with the same account. I have a new device and am trying to download the music on and it is not showing on the device that i have purchased this music. I have another device hooked up to the same account that shows the music and itunes shows that i have purchased the music. What do i do to get the music on my new device?

Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
Tap the Music app.
Find the song or album you want to download.
Tap the download icon next to the track or album title.
The song or album will begin downloading.

Imported songs not showing up in iTunes

Just imported a CD. They are not in my iTunes library, but the files are there in the directory on the back end. I even watched iCloud upload them, but the tracks are not showing up in iTunes even when searching for them. Any ideas?!?!?

I have this same problem. Import songs from CD or from a MP3 Folder or if I add a movie, nothing shows up in itunes.
If I do a search of the media folder in iTunes I can see it there. Even My Apple TV can see the uploads and play them.
This all seems to have started after the latest update to Lion.
I have downloaded iTunes again and reinstalled it but it made no difference.
iTunes is importing ok it's just not displaying the newly imported items :-(

Songs not showing up in iTunes

Recently many of my songs haven't been showing up in itunes. It happened randomly and decreased my library by about 3000 songs out of 10000 in no particular pattern (like date added, alphabetical order, downloaded songs, file format, etc.) except the songs are missing in groups of albums.
I tried reinstalling itunes and deleting the songs from itunes and reimporting them with no luck. I didn't change any options in the preferences tab, and I checked my actual music folder and it's all still there, but some songs just don't show up in itunes. What can I do to resolve this?

Maybe your "iTunes Music Library.xml" file got corrupted?? Try searching this file for some of the songs in question and see if they're in there at all and if so if there's anything funky about them.
Next step:
Try uninstalling iTunes and verifying that "iTunes Music Library.xml" is REMOVED and then reinstall and drag all your music into it again. I believe this will remove any playlists as well, so you should back them up...not quite sure how to do that.

Nokia Music download is not showing up in the musi...

I purchased a song via the Nokia Music app and I have noticed that even after restarting my phone the song does not show up in either the Nokia Music or music + videos app for me to play it. If i attempt to purchase the song again, i get a message stating that I have already previously downloaded the song. This is a frustrating first time experience. I would either like to know how to get the song to appear so that I can play it or find out how to get my money back.

Encountered the same problem with my 920 so it would appear Nokia have yet to rectify.
Poor effort to release half-a@@ed products, seems to be the way things are done nowadays.
Will keep using itunes but hardly an endorsement for Nokia that I still need to use my iphone to get music.
