Downloaded update, now printer will not work.

After downloading the newest update yesterday - the printer (HP Officejet Pro 8500A Plus) will not respond. The MacBook Pro message shows that it is printing. Nothing is happening.
This happened after the last update also and it took 3/4 hour with my tech support to get the printer reinstalled. I can, of course, go through that process again, but there should be an easier way.
1. The update should not shut down the printer connection.
2. It shoult not take so long and so many steps to get it connected again.
Any suggestions?

Have you contacted HP to see if you need to download any of their updated drivers?
Have you tried repairing permissions and restarting your computer afterwards?
Which os are you using?

Tried downloading itunes version 11.4 and received an error code 2324. Now itunes will not work at all and I cannot sync my phone, ipad or ipod. How should I proceed?

I have tried several times to load version 11.4 and keep getting an error code2324, now I cannot sync any of my apple products. I set my machine to a previous recover date, now iTunes will not work at all. I get a message stating I do not have the administrator rights to download. Any thoughts on this issue?

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

Are you following these instructions.
Remove ALL cables from Apple TV. (if you don't you will not see Apple TV in the iTunes Source list)
Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
Reconnect the power cable (only for Apple TV 3)
Open iTunes.
Select your Apple TV in the Source list, and then click Restore.

You can also try Pages for Word / Numbers for Excel. Both can import/export Word and Excel files.

Printer will not work after update to Mavericks

I have a macbook pro and an HP7280 printer connected wirelessly. After upgrading to Mavericks the printer will not work. The first time I used it the system upgraded automatically (I forget what it said but it just went ahead and did some upgrading) When I clicked on something to print it did recognized the printer but just scrolled and scrolled and never printed. So I deleted the printer and reset the system and then added the printer back on - same thing. Any ideas??

It means there is no issue with the driver you are using and with it working correctly on Mavericks. So you have a network issue with the printer queue you are using. Normally a reset of the printing system and re-adding the printer would be enough to get things working again. But since you have done this and your issue is not resolved, there must be some other gremlins in the system.
With the HP connected to the network, if you know its IP address you can enter this as a URL into a web browser. This should result in you connecting to the internal web page of the HP. Does this work?

I suddenly had the same thing happen. I've had my new iMac for 3 months and at first my Epson Artisan 50 worked okay then yesterday I started getting the same error message other people on this support site have gotten. I tried ALL the advice given (deleating the Epson files from the library folder, etc. reinstalling older software) and nothing worked. With the newest iMac (and operating system) you cannot pick and choose which version of Epson software you want. You must use the 10.8 version or it simply will not open when you've downloaded it. Finally I found the comment above by den.thed and tried the OS X Mountain Lion: Reset the printing system suggested. As much as I hated to lose all my printing presets that took a lot of expiermentation to set up, I was desperate. I tried it and it worked. Now I just have to consult my old computer and try to recreate all my printing set ups. So to others with Epson / Apple 10.8 issues this may help when everything else fails. My HP2840 laser jet All-InOne has been telling me for 6 months that I need a new drum. I was waiting until I saw an issue with my print quality (which I never had a problem) and now my printer will not work unless I replace the drum.
A friend told me that even after installing a new OEM drum, that my printer will still not work unless I call HP and pay for them to tell me how to make it work.
Is that true?
I need help fast cause now my wife is really angry that I "broke" the printer!

Connect it to iTunes and then put the device in DFU mode by holding the power button and home button for 10 seconds, then release the power button only while still holing the home button.
iTunes will prompt you to restore, try that and it should work.

I found the solution in another thread. Thanks to frankglyn who posted it there.
I've just copied it here, as this seems to be the most active thread on this subject.
The solution (steps A to C) worked fine for me and others and should work for you as well, until Kodak will come with an updated driver. Then, you can revert the changes as also described below (steps 1 to 7)
A) in Spotlight Type Terminal and then press enter.
This should bring up the terminal window/program.
B) In the Terminal type sudo sh -c 'echo "Sandboxing Relaxed" >> /etc/cups/cups-files.conf'
It will ask for your password.
C) After that type following: sudo launchctl stop org.cups.cupsd
After that if you are lucky the printer driver should start to work. (which it did in my case)
I hope this works out for you, if not then you can do following to revert the changes:
In case you want/have to revert the changes:
1) Open the terminal as usual (Spotlight type Terminal hit enter and wait for the terminal window to appear)
2) then type: cd /etc/cups
3) then type: sudo nano cups-files.conf
4) 'type in your password'
This brings up a command line editor which you can use to edit the file
5) Remove the last line which says Sandboxing Relaxed
6) press 'ctrl x'
And then confirm with y when being asked if you want to save the changes
7) after that type sudo launchctl start org.cups.cupsd

Try deleting the old backup.
Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup>Manage Storage, tap the device name and on the resulting screen, scroll down and tap on Delete Backup.

I see that you are getting the error code " 0xc19a0022 " .
I do have a few steps that we can try.
First off, please make sure that you have the printer power cable connected directly to a wall outlet and not a power bar/strip. Here is a document that uses a LaserJet printer as an example but it is meant for HP products in general. Please click on the following link that explains the Issues when Connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply/Power Strip/Surge Protector.
I have also located a document that deals with a 'Problem with Printhead,' 'Printer Failure,' 'Ink System Failure,' or a '0x...' or a 'C2...' Error ...

After Quick Time update .mov files will not work in Premier pro.

I have windows 7 and the latest premiere pro. I uninstalled quick time still not working. Other files work fine however I work with a great deal of transparent background videos and now they will not work in Adobe apps. I have looked into solutions but cant find anything for windows. Please point me in the right direction.
