Downloading 11.1.3 issues

Okay, I am going to pull my freaking hair out!!! I am TRYING to get 11.1.3 on my computer and when i click save file and click for it to save the setup it doesn't save!!!! WHY IS THIS HAPPENING? help, please. I've done it about 100 times and nothing

I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:
http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
If you use Firefox instead of IE for the download (or vice versa), do you get a working installer?

  • ITunes Match unable to download songs from iCloud issue

I have a MacBook Pro running Mavericks 10.9.4 and iTunes 11.3.1. I am having repeated issues with downloading songs from iCloud to my MBP. I have reset Match numerous times using the steps located here: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4054.
Then it works for a short time and I am able to download some songs and then suddenly I will get the pinwheel, the songs in iCloud will all show greyed out and then I am no longer able to download anymore. Repeat process.
I am about to try a test tethering to my iPhone's internet service to see if that improves things. So far, the only threads I have found on this topic have been related to Mountain Lion. So I'm not sure if this is a different issue I am seeing.
I also tried resetting the System Configuration to see if it would fix, but no luck: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4160355?start=90&tstart=0
Is anyone else experiencing this and what is the issue? Can it be fixed?

    Hi,
I don't think that you have a similar issue to OP.

That means that iTunes Match is stripping out the Sample Rate when it uploads some tracks (even variable within albums) and then it gets stuck when you try to play the track.
    Apple needs to fix this.
Match does not strip out the Sample Rate. If tracks are matched, it shows the standard sample rate of 44,100 but unknown when tracks are uploaded (probably because Apple does not capture this on such tracks). If you have an iCloud status of "Waiting" and a blank sample rate, this suggests that the match / upload process was not completed.
If you have not already solved your problem, I suggest that you delete those tracks and then read them to your iTunes library. Once you have matched or uploaded them, you can delete from your hard drive but not the cloud.

  • RE:  Fix for downloading audiobooks to iTunes issues IOS.7.4

Okay, so I've downloaded Audiobooks from Overdrive Media for years...right into iTunes with no issues.  Until this week, right after I updated to IOS.7.4.  Immediately after the update, I downloaded a couple of audiobooks, and noticed that they did not "spool" correctly once I dragged them into my Audiobooks playlist prior to syncing.
Once I tried to sync, and go to check my phone to make sure they were there...they were gone.  Never showed up on my phone, and they were gone from my playlist.  They were in my "Music" folder however, but not in my Audiobooks playlist.
After struggling with it for a night, I called the Apple Help Desk, and to their credit they were great!  Walked me through the view only process so they could see what I was actually looking at on my computer, and after about 30 minutes, decided that it was my iTunes that was the problem.  I was on the most current version, but for some reason it was not operating properly.
Forwarded very simple How To instructions on deleting iTunes and all associated files and then reinstalling the program (I lost nothing), and it fixed the issue and I'm back to normal with syncing, and have my Audiobook playlists back with my downloaded audiobooks in it.
So, if anyone else is struggling with this same issue...this might help you as well.
Took about an hour start to finish!

I build a small lab. It is regardless to disable CCKM, PMF or Anchor. The problem happens to Windows XP Clients (no Win 7 yet) and Access Points in FlexConnect Mode.
The first connect is stable. If you shortly disable the wlan adapter and reenable it, the client is connected to the wireless network but you cannot transmit any data. But Link test works :-)
After a rollback to 7.4.110.0 you can disable/enable the wireless adapter as many times as you want.

  • Newsstand Multiple downloads of same magazine issue?

Since taking out a subscription to two magazines through Newsstand the new issues of the magazines show up twice in the library as being able to be downloaded. This is annoying as it clutters up the library and they cannot be deleted. I have tried downloading both and then deleting one, but it still shows the issue as being available to download. Why is this happening and how can I stop it?

I seen this before. As a guess only, is it possible that the provider of the podcast has changed something about it and so iTunes now thinks it's a new podcast and so it downloads it?

  • Download and iTunes connection issues

As of recently, I have purchased numerous audio and video files from the iTunes store with no difficulty or connection issues of any kind. Though today, I attempted to download the Iron Maiden: Flight 666 movie, and had issues with my download. Though the file is downloading, it is taking an excruciatingly long amount of time. A 3.09 Gigabyte file, a file which might have previously taken me about an hour to download on my connection, now displays an estimated download time of 17+ hours. It has been downloading now for at least an hour, and only 9.5 Megabytes have been successfully downloaded. Now, I am experiencing difficulty accessing the iTunes store at all. An error message continually pops up saying that my connection has been lost and the download pauses, though I have checked my connection time and time again. I have even contacted my internet provider, Comcast, in hopes of solving my problem. My connection is good, though iTunes itself is the only thing giving me difficulty. I have gone through all of the steps that Apple has recommended, and have not had any success in attempting to download the file. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Downloadable "Embedded" JRE licensing issues

I have several applications that I want to make available for download. Rather than having to upload the JRE to my website 3 times (embedded in 3 seperate files), I would like to only upload it once.
I found the freeware installer NSIS. It seems to have the option to let you download a file from a website and then install it. I would like to have a copy of the JRE on my website and then have an NSIS installer that checks whether the JRE is installed and then downloads it if it isn't.
Since there's several applications, an user would be able to use all the applications and only download the JRE once.
This would be similar to an installer created by Install4J (http://www.ej-technologies.com/products/install4j/overview.html). What I'm worried about is licensing issues. This isn't really "embedding" the JRE, but it must be permissible because Install4J does it.
Is it permissible to remove files as the license allows for embedded JREs? Somehow I doubt that, but it would save me a little bit of bandwidth.
Is it permissible to use all the JRE's files just without the JRE's installer? (It would be placed within the application directory just like it was an embedded JRE.) There are 2 reasons I want to avoid using the JRE installer:
    1) I want it to install "silently". I really hate it when someone downloads an application and thinks that JRE is the application just because the JRE installer pops up at the end of the application's installer.
    2) I don't want people to be able to uninstall the JRE without uninstalling the application too.
Basically, I would be using the JRE just like an embedded JRE, but it would be downloaded as a seperate file by the installer. It could be that just having the JRE and the application stored as seperate files violates some aspect of the licensing agreement. Does it? It seems harmless to me, but I don't know what the official stance on this is.

  • I have all of my photos on a seagate external hard drive from a windows based computer. Can I plug external hd into my iMac and download photos with no issues?

Can I just plug in my external harddrive to download the saved pictures from my windows computer to my Imac?

That should work.  A box like icon will appear on the desktop.  Double click  on icon.
If for some reason a message asks you to format, do not format. Pull out the cable on the external hardrive.  Ask for more advice here.

  • Downloading and installing Lion issue

i have tried downloading and installing Lion but I keep getting errors similar to "error occurred, unable to install scripts from mzm.stuhjljp.pkg"  Any help???

I was getting that as well.  But I think the best thing is to "ignore it."  I know it's silly but make sure you have repaired permissions on your drive and you meet the requirements, etc.
This is what I saw before completetion.
    1.  Credit card was charged only once (despite multiple prompts to buy).  I tried it on different dates but it was billed on first day.
    2.  The second day it didn't prompt to buy but only gave the pkg error.  It always had 6 minutes left and I was getting kicked out of App store and had to log in again.  Lion icon looks as if it docks on your dock but it doesn't really do anything.
    3. Go to the /Applications folder.  You will not find the mzm.stuhjljp.pkg file anywhere but you will find the Lion installation file.
    4.   Click on the installation file and it works!
The installation file is actually the complete 3.49 gigabytes.
    Good luck!

  • Downloading iTunes 11.1 issues

I go to update my iTunes to 11.1 and my app store says that there's no new updates.  I want to get this fixed so I can get iOS 7.

Same problem here. I go to update my iTunes to 11.1 and the app store says that there are no new updates.  I try to download from apple.com/itunes and there's only 11.0.5 available. iTunes 11.0.5 doesn't recognize my iPad (says I need to upgrade to 11.1), or my iPhone (no message at all).
This is an impossible situation. Does anyone from Apple ever read these posts? Is there a way to tell Apple there's a bug in their system without having to pay for "Applecare"? Did I make a mistake leaving the Windows/PC world?

  • Unable to use recently downloaded fonts, CC sync issue and connection problems.

    Today was especially interesting.
CC would say it could not connect and to retry connection, when I clicked retry connection is would fail, over, and over - I waited 15+ minutes for it to finally connect only to tell me "Coming Soon: CC will deliver fonts from Typekit to your desktop"? https://www.dropbox.com/s/5yci79zv3opmx12/CCForgotFonts.jpg < WHAT!? So now I had to search the Adobe forum to figure out why... More wasted time.
Solution: LOGOUT from CC pref and log back in, then click the resync button tucked down at the bottom corner... No Auto-sync? No notification that my syncing was not enabled; Really?
Shouldn't it be a little more intellegent, maybe remember that I just downloaded these fonts and to perhaps give me 30 days before asking me to login to verify If I still had an active CC account in order to use the fonts? This is starting to wear thin.
Everyday I have to make sure I login to CC because if I don't I may not have a function or font. Then there is the licensing I have to accept each time because I logged out; each time!
(I have deleted folders and reinstalled CC to 'fix' this, only to have it stop working after a day or two, even on a local administrator account and domain admin account)
I'm just thankful I do not travel anymore because I couldn't with CC. I would have to install CS6 in order not to worry, that should say something about this new Adobe model.

  • Downloading documents with formatting issues

When I download a 2 page merged document, the formatting changes so the second page is much smaller than the first page.  The document appears fine on the adobe website.

    Hi sbutchman,
Is it the page itself that's smaller, or does the magnification level change from one page to the next? Are you running into similar problems with other PDF files? And, are you opening the PDF in Reader or Acrobat, and what version?
I look forward to hearing back from you, with a few more details.
    Best,

  • Why does Mail not update timely with Mavericks?  Why does the download to fix this issue (?) won't install?

I installed Mavericks on my MacBook Pro when it first came out.  Since then, my Mail program doesn't go out and get my new mail from gmail every minute like it's set to do. Sometimes new mail shows up on my smart phone as long as 10 minutes before it shows up on my Mac.  I saw there was a stand-alone download for Mail on Mavericks meant to fix some gmail-Mavericks-Mail problems.  http://support.apple.com/kb/HT6030
However, this will not install on my Mac.   The error message says simply that "this volume does meet the requirements for this update."  Can't figure out why.  I have plenty of memory.

Try adjusting the settings in Mail:
Mail > Preferences > General > Check For Incoming Messages: Every Minute
Also, you may be downloading an incompatible 10.9.1 update (one is for newest retina Macbook Pro's, the other for remaining Macs). Navigate to the Apple Logo > Software Update...
If it shows no software update available when the App Store opens, you are already running 10.9.1 (which includes the mail update).

  • ITunes download error 404 - support issue

I'm at my wits end after getting an 404 error message after purchasing music via iTunes but being unable to download it. It says the url cannot be found on the server.
The really frustrating thing is that none of the online support documents cover my problem. I have repaired permissions, rebooted, re-installed iTunes 7 and tried to install it on my other mac, all with the same error message.
How do I contact the iTunes online support guys as there appears to be no obvious link via iTunes or the support pages?
I'm not going to be a happy bunny if I get charged for music I can't download.

there appears to be no obvious link via iTunes or the support pages?
    From here:
    http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/store/
select the Download Problems link and if your question isn't answered on that page scroll down to the bottom and use the form to contact Apple.
