Downloading 2nd Copy of Lr3

I purchased my upgrade of Lr 2 on line awhile ago onto my desktop.
Now with a new laptop, I want to download the other avaiable copy onto this computer.
Is there some secret way for doing this? I see no instructions
nor do I trust downloading a 30 day trial copy only to have it possibly expire in the middle of my travels.
I have the serial number from my first download and see no place to use it again for #2 downlaod onto laptop.

You don't need to download two entirely separate copies of LR3 ... you DL ONE copy and the serial number you were provided with your purchase allows you to install that one copy on two separate machines. All you need to do is copy the installation package from the computer you first downloaded it to over to your new laptop and run the install again. When it comes time to apply the serial mumber, use the same one as you used for the first copy. Sine it's an upgrade, you'll also need the serial from your older version of Lightroom as well since I presume you haven't installed your version 2.x copy onto your new computer, but you don't need to, all you need is the serial from the earlier version. When you put in the serial number for the new install it looks for an installed copy of the older version ... if it doesn't find it, it will ask for its serial number. If you erased the original DL package from the first computer after installing it, just open the email with the serials thay you got after purchasing and follow the links in it to the download source to download a fresh copy.

Install the same way you did on the desktop. Download/install the desktop application, sign in, install the subscription application(s).

Lightroom 5 - download 2nd copy?

I have an iMac desktop computer with Lightroom 5 installed. I just purchased a MacBook Pro and would like to install Lightroom 5 on that also but it does not have a CD/DVD drive. Is there an on-iline version of Lightroom 5 that I can use to download it to the MacBook?

Can't install 2nd copy of Photoshop CC

Hello, I've just purchased a photoshop CC and couldn't install the 2nd copy on my home Mac.
Creative Cloud keeps telling me that I got the latest version of Photoshop CC installed but I don't have it actually, I have never downloaded it on my home Mac.

Do a clean reinstall and download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
You can skip the step to create a new profile, that is not necessary for this issue.

Download a copy of Windows7 with an iMac

I want to purchase and download Windows 7 to install in an iMac (OSX Lion) using Fusion 4. I tried a download from Digital River, burned the ISO to a DVD, and tried to instal it but the Fusion installer said it could not find the OS.
1. Can I download Windows using OSX or do I need to use a Windows machine?
2. Is there a something speccial I need to do to burn the ISO image to the disk so it's in a format that Fusion can use?

I have the serial number for my purchase, just not sure where to enter it to get it to download on my new computer.

1st, the Adobe license allows you to install and activate on 2 computers... you install on the 2nd computer the same way you did on the 1st one... put the DVD in the drive, or double click the installer that you downloaded, if you purchased by downloading

Hi, I'm trying to download my copy of photoshop and I'm entangled by menu options.
It was once downloaded on an old computer, but I have no access to that computer anymore--long story, the program isn't in use.

If you bought it from Adobe, your download link is still available on the Adobe site. Go to the My Adobe or My Orders link.
If not, did you not see the link Pierre posted above? I realize the forum font is kind of microscopic...

You can install Windows on Boot Camp or a virtual machine > https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3321
If you decide to use a virtual machine, install Parallels, VMware Fusion or VirtualBox. You can install the Windows version you want.
If you decide to use Boot Camp, you can install a 64-bit Windows 7 or 8. In both cases, you have to use a System Builder or full Windows 7 or 8 version, which you can buy at Amazon or NewEgg. You will need an external disc drive.
There's no risk in installing Windows on a virtual machine, as it's installed on a virtual hard drive. If you install Windows on Boot Camp, follow Apple's steps to install it > http://manuals.info.apple.com/en_US/boot_camp_install-setup_10.8.pdf

I downloaded a copy of Creative Cloud desktop but it says that my Muse is up to date. It was last updated in May but you have a new update today and it will not update. I thought maybe I am not suppose to have the Creative Cloud update because all I have is the individual app Muse and the photography program. So I uninstalled the CC desktop. Then when I open Muse it says I need the CC desktop to help with the update. So I get stopped either way. Now I also had a Pre-Release Muse on my computer and I don't know if that complicated things. Please advise.

All future installs/updates of Muse (and most other Adobe apps) are through the Creative Cloud desktop app. Thus you do need to have it installed.

How can I download a copy of Mac X Lion and put it on a usb stick so I can install on my imac which has crashed

I was installing Mac X Lion on my iMac when the power went off. A error message says install failed, Mac OS X could not be installed on your computer, The installer encountered an eror that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance. Click Restart to restart your computer and try installing again. When I restart it keeps going to install Lion and getting the same error message. I tried starting with holding the option key down and selecting Mac Hard disk, but again it keeps going to the installer and the error comes again.

If so, the first thing I would do is to back up your data on the ill mac. I assume both macs have firewire port, get a cable and connect both macs via this cable. Then restart your ill mac by pressing T key after chime, it will become a simple external disk you should see on the desktop of your healthy mac. Back up your data.
Now, with this action accomplished, you may go on. BArney - 15E is optimistic and says how to restart in recovery mode—this may be possible if installation was complete for recovery partition (I doubt this, but I may be wrong).
Otherwise, I would reinstall from the scratch. If after connecting your ill mac via FW, you may see the disk in good order, you should also see the Lion installer within Applications folder. Copy it unto an external disk or flash disk and keep it safe, you will need it again.

As the “Download A Copy” button was available when the users(View Only permission) clicked a PDF file, you can try to hide the “Download A Copy” option based on user permissions.
