Downloading 9iAS R2

I am downloading 9iAS R2. I am using dowload accelator (a download manager) but it cannot do anything since the server is not resume supported.
I don't think that anyone can download such big files without having some extra ordinary internet connection.
Is there any other server which supports resume and gives 9iAS R2 download.
Please help me out.
ZRH

The server does support resume but you might want to edit the file location in download accelerator to download-west.oracle.com/-rest of url.. to ensure you stay on 1 set of download servers.

  • Problem downloading 9iAS

When attempting to download 9iAS for Windows, I am encountering this problem:
After I check all the boxes on the eligibility export page and click "I Agree", it takes me to the next page where the downloads are for about 1 second, and then goes right back to the eligibility page again. I cannot get it to stay on the download page. I tried it for other products and it works fine. It's only doing this for 9iAS for NT.

Can you let us know where you are finding this URL?
    Thanks,

  • Cant download 9iAS - Server Hangup

For several days now I've tried downloading 9iAS. Any of the
zip files I click on give me the same outcomes - "Server Hangup"
or "Connection timed out". I have a Broadband 512kbs connection
and I have tried shutting down my ZoneAlarm firwall, but the
    result is the same.
    Any help appreciated

Can you verify this is happening on both IE and Netscape (or
    other).

  • Where can I find and download 9iAS 1.0.2.2.x for NT?

    (as the subject)

Not being able to find it at OTN should be your first clue that you really don't want this product to begin with. Error support ended about six months ago, and this version was pretty much dead on arrival. If you really want or need it and have a CSI, one thing you can do is submit a TAR. Another course of action is to use a release in the 9.0.2 and up range.

  • How to Download Solaris Version of 9iAs Report services...

    Hello all..,
I am facing problem while downloading 9iAS Reports services Solaris verion. While downloading File segments , it is getting saved as text documents... (Or is it supposed to be saved as text document..?)
With the first option (savin as .cpio file) there is a problem . The file (.cpio) is very big file and we are not able to download it at a single strech... So can't go with this option...
Please any body can u please tell any work around.....?
    Regards
    -Raj.

I don't know whether it's supposed to be saved as text documents, alhough it's possible that you're download uuencoded files that are concatenated together and uudecoded by the unpack script.
However, you may be able to use an ftp manager to do the download. Tools like Windows Commander (http://www.ghisler.com/) have the ability to pick up and resume aborted ftp sessions, so you may want to check this out.
    Hope this helps,
    Danny

  • 9iAS for NT and IIS

I just downloaded 9iAS Rel 2 (all_servers.zip) and I want to install it on a standalone NT 4.0 SP6a server. I have IIS 2.0 installed. Is that adequate, OK or do I have need to do something else before I install 9iAS?
Also, previously, in another post, I was told 9iAS **could** be installed on a 9i database server but it is recommended to NOT do that. How about in an isolated developemnt environment (not internet accessable)? Is 9iAS recommended against being on a 9i db server for production (i.e. Itnetnet accessible) becuase of security or is it really recommended against in general becuase of conflicts (even when they are in seperate homes)?
    TIA,
    Ed.

    Bidhin,
Abandon any thoughts of installing 1.0.2.2 version from download. Oracle will not support it anyway. I just found this out this morning. The install is suspect anyway as I have had numerous problems, an install of 1.0.2.0.0 works fine.
Hopefully Oracle will pull the 1.0.2.2 version from release as it will not work.

  • Error installing 9iAS on Win NT/2000

I downloaded Oracle 9iAS for Win NT from the web site http://otn.oracle.com/software/products/ias/software_index.htm. When I try to unzip the files using winzip 8.0, I get the following error - "Cannot open file. It does not appear to be a valid archive. Try downloading again". I tried downloading a couple of times. I am getting the same error.
I believe these files should be compatible with win2000. I would appreciate if anyone could help me with the installation, or help find a downloadable 9iAS compatible with win 2000.
    Thanks,
    Priya

  • Where is 9ias 1.0.2.1 ? URGENT

I need 9ias 1.0.2.1. for Linux, and I didn't find the installers on Downloads/9ias. In the older releases section, there is only release 1.0.2.2
Where can I find 9ias 1.0.2.1 for Linux Intel?

Note that 9i AS is only "somewhat" certified on AIX 5.x.
The standard AIX libraries are not certified for AS - it requires "VAC runtime" for 5L (but not for 4.3.3). This requirement is listed in the Installation Guide (table 2-6 Software Requirements for 5L systems).
Since then we are considering Linux/Intel instead...

  • OC4J Web Service Demo

I am in the process of evaluating 9ias' web service support.
I downloaded 9ias (developer's preview oc4j_extended.zip - 19MB). Installation was smooth and I was able to get it up running.
However, I couldn't find any web service example from the welcome page (there are only 2 category of test samples: JSP and Servlets). So I looked into the folders and found out the web service demos in $ORA\j2ee\home\demo\web_services\java_services.
I got an error when deployed the web service archive file by running step 3 in readme.txt -
