Downloading a "free" game but incurring charges

Question

Since August 2012 we downloaded 3 "free" games but were billed for that downloading. In the past before a charge was posted into the account a request for my password will appear before the downloading process, however in the last 3 occassions mentioned no such a request was made. Have the terms and conditions of use change this process?. If the game is listed as a free applications why we have been charged?. Thanks.

The Apple Support Communities are an international user to user technical support forum. As a man from Mexico, Spanish is my native tongue. I do not speak English very well, however, I do write in English with the aid of the Mac OS X spelling and grammar checks. I also live in a culture perhaps very very different from your own. When offering advice in the ASC, my comments are not meant to be anything more than helpful and certainly not to be taken as insults.
Have you received iTunes receipts that confirm that you were charged for the free games? Do charges appear on the invoice available in the Purchaase History section of your account when viewed in the iTunes app on your Mac? Have you confirmed with your bank that your account was debited for the game?
When there is a bank card listed in your account information, even with a free game, the iTunes stores and the Mac App Store will often verify the account with a small debit that later drops from your account's pending charges section because Apple does not complete the charge.
