Downloading a free trial
i just became a member of creative cloud, and everything looks brilliant, but when i, logged in, want to download a free trial of photoshop, adobe wants be to become a member of creative cloud....i am a member, logged in to the same page, why can i not just download the free trial? or, more correct: HOW can i download the free trial? and yes, it looks like you can do it on the creative adobe page, there are buttons for that, but all they want you to do is reinstall creative clouc installer...
this is really...please help. someone. i am in a hurry.

Trying to download the free trial of Adobe Acrobat XL Pro. I keep getting the message "The application could not be installed because the installer file is damaged. Try obtaining a new installer file from the application author." I've repeatedly tried getting a new installer file, but get the same message every time.
K_don52 and Ande8135 please remove your current installation of the Adobe Download Assistant and reinstall. You can find more details in the known issues section of Troubleshoot Adobe Download Assistant.

Part of the problem in helping is likely that there is no program Adobe -- that is the company name. You are in the Acrobat forum, but it sounds like you have subscribed to Export PDF or such, a different program. The subscription to Acrobat is currently $19.99 per month.

if you had an acrobat XI trial installed at some other time, there's no easy way to get another 30 day trial.

I started to download it An hour later my computer crashed so I tried to do it again and I thought it has worked as it went to the whole Adobe product list of things I could do. I am Windows 8. When downloading the free trial of LR5 i get a message that my SmartScreen cannot be accessed. I click "Run Anyways". The file downloads and when I execute it, the installation/download remains hung up trying to reach servers. Can anyone help with this? Thanks.

Under Windows 7 you will want to use the Programs and Features Control Panel to remove your installation. I would recommend verifying that Photoshop Lightroom is removed from the list of installed applications. -

Jaspers are you receiving any particular error message? You may also want to review I can't download a trial that uses Akamai Download Manager as it several steps you can try to resolve your difficulties.
