Downloading a single rule set out of N rule sets.
HI All,
We have defined 4 Rule sets for one particular system. Out of these one is the global rule set. Now, my requirement is to have oe more rule set, with 80% rules from global and then add the rest 20% myself. Would like to know if there is any way we can achieve this efficiently, other than creating manually all the 80% rules from GLOBAL rule set.

Well what you guided was perfectly fine an true in case of making changes to GLOBAL rule set. But any idea how we can make a new rule set out of the custom rule set i have already made.
I have , in all 4 rule sets present at the moment in GRC - GLOBAL, CUST -1,2 and 3. Now, my requirement is to have a copy of CUST1 into new rule set CUST4, and I manually later on need to update CUST4 for some more risks in it. The problem i am facing is whenever i download the existing rule sets, it is not giving me an option to download just CUST1, but all of four rule sets get downloaded together. Whereas, i need just a copy of CUST1. Any ideas on this?

Lumia 800 Cannot Download a single App from Market...

I've just bought a Lumia 800 on July 20, 2012 from a retailer in the Philippines and am using it in the same.
I downloaded Zune for Windows 7 on my dual boot mac. I downloaded all updates till Zune said there was no more available on the Windows 7 partition. It succesfully installed. I am up to date according to the latest firmware as noted on Nokia firmware and MS OS as of today.
I have not been able to download a single app since I got the phone. I use the marketplace app on the phone and have also tried "pushing" the app from the marketplace on Firefox/Chrome on my Mac and PC.
The phone goes to marketplace downloads, says "Pending" starts to says "Downloading 0%" till it says "Tap here" then I have to retry download. Been trying this all night, and have been reseting the phone by holding the button below the volume control till the phone says "Goodbye" then I boot it up and the same still happens.
I've also tried a hard reset, formatting to factory settings. That did not let me download a single app either. Since I needed the phone, I restored my data. I have been using a wifi connection with broadband at home. I can surf IE on the phone, check mail, but the marketplace has always been off for the few days I've owned the darn thing. I can open the marketplace app, I can see apps, I can browse them, and I can click install, reinstall (for some reason Windows Live thinks its already installed).
Am I missing something? I tried cancelling all other downloads except Whatsapp and still no dice. I've cancelled all downloads, restarted and tried again and to this day, I have an app phone that can't get apps from it's own marketplace.
I tried setting my windows live ID to jive with my region and language, all the same, US or Philippine english, nothing.
I've tried writing emails to Nokia Philippines support and after typing all this they just told me to 1. open marketplace app, 2. Click Download (Arrgghhhh talk about canned STUPID RESPONSES, the guy obviously did not read my email that I did the same.)
Please help me.Hi kosh, Yes I have done a hard reset even at the risk of losing all my contacts. I've also tried creating a new live ID to sign in after the hard reset was made. Sadly such did not work so I eventually just restored my contacts. I find it disappointing that groups does not sync so if ever I do need to change live IDs I'll have to remake all the groups again. Such is the loss of a loyal Nokia customer who has to pay for Symbian going and ms entering. I find it odd that I would even have to create a new live account as the one already designated as the primary account attached to the phone was created upon first boot of the phone. But I guess there's no loss trying one more time since accounts are free. I'll have to do it some other time as I am currently mobile and had to leave the phone cause the total lack of apps has rendered it insufficient for my needs. I will update the forum once Nokia and/or Microsoft contacts me. Really hoping they just replace the darn thing since I bought the phone open line out of carrier making this feel more of a waste, and I wouldn't want a phone like this sent for repair this fresh or given a refurb.

Quite probably, or it may just be off and out of range of a network. In order to find a missing iOS device it has to have had the app enabled, and be on, not wiped, and able to connect to a network.

Has anyone else noticed that you can't download a single song via ITunes Match on the iPod app?
The ability to download a single song has been removed. Now it only downloads if you're playing it. So if I want to download a few different songs to play I have to go back into the app at the end of each song and select a new one to play. I can't create a playlist by downloading all the songs I want to listen to. Basically it has become a one song at a time service. Aka worthless. This needs to be fixed. If I can't get the songs I want onto the phone then why would I do anything but sync with my library since I can do that all at once. This may be the most unexplainable change I've seen on any apple update.
I have an audiobook that is over 100 tracks long and a few GBs in size. I simply cannot believe that there is no way that I can download a single track from that without having to make a playlist for the whole thing. I simply cannot stream it because my cell provider's 3G speeds just aren't fast enough to allow any tracks to be played without skips and my docks won't recognize a streaming track being played as legit so I can't listen through my car unless the track is downloaded. Plus I don't want to eat up many GBs on my phone when I only need a couple of tracks per day.
I don't know why Apple decided to take away the individual track download feature that iOS5 had. It was perfect for me. This new system in iOS 6+ just doesn't work and makes me want to quit using iTunes Match altogether (since I can't just manually drag the tracks I want to listen to to my phone before I leave the house). Maybe it was because Apple didn't like seeing all of the little iCloud buttons next to each track? Perhaps just give us a setting to turn it back on if we want to. Apple has ruined iTunes Match for me. I really hope they bring this feature back in the next iOS update. -
Apple mail out of office rule is sending auto replies to all emails not just newly received emails--HELP! I set up the rule according to another apple support thread and instead of only sending the reply to new mail received, it was sent to all messages I believe that were in my INBOX, thankfully I only had a few but several people that hadn't sent me emails since I set up the rule, received the OUT OF OFFICE reply. Please help. Here is the procedure I followed for the out of office rule-

I just used my email account which is a business account- not an ECU account but these rules according to the apple thread apply for all emails. Thank youYou can set it easily...
To access this feature in Apple's Mail app, right click on any sub-folder (like your exchange inbox on the left) and choose "Get Account Info." A window will pop up that looks like the one below. Make sure to select your Exchange account from the Account dropdown. Then click on the Out Of Office tab. If you have ever put in an Out of Office message in the past it will be displayed here. You can adjust and set your Out of Office from Apple Mail from within this tab.

TS1424 Pre ordered cd. Can't download new single.
I pre ordered Eric church's new cd "the outsiders". When his new song give me back my hometown came out it says it's purchased in iTunes so I can't download it but it doesn't show up in my music. Any ideas?

Alright, for anyone unable to download a single after preodering an album, I have the solution (just tried it).
1. You need to temporarily cancel your preorder. On the top menu bar, click, Store, then View Account.
2. Scroll down to the bottom of your iTunes account page and click Manage Preorders.
3. Click the button to cancel to your preorder.
4. Go back to the album page and buy and download the single. The preorder price should drop since you bought the single.
5. Re-preorder the album, should be at the lower price. Now you have the single and have preordered the album, with no extra money spent.

I am the owner of my iPhone 4 and it had not been updating and allowing me to download apps. So I decided to do factory setting, before doing so I had backed up my phone on my computer then I had erased everything from my iphone. But now I want to start everything from the beginning, and on my setting my Apple ID is present however when I put my password in it doesn't let me log in. The message that I receive says that I would have to remove my Apple ID as it will not let me log in with that I'd even though I am the original owner, I have tried everything on find my iPhone as well, even there my Apple ID not showing on the devise.
If anyone has had a similar experience could you please advise me on what to do,
ThanksYou must have the credentials that were used to turn on Find my iPhone on the device. Without them, you can not get past the activation lock.

i am trying to update the software on my ipad from 4.2 to 4.3.3 but i cannot get it to download. I get an error message that says the software was unable to download because the network timed out. I have tried to download it 7 or 8 different times and still get the same message. I cannot restore the factory settings either. The same thing happens. Does anyone have any suggestions? It did this when trying to update to 4.2. I don't remember how we were able to get the software to update. Thanks.

Working on a single computer with multiple users, I have set things up to allow each user to view and listen to the others' music libraries under the "Shared Library" function. Can you then connect an iPod touch and copy music from a shared library?
Was your wife logged into the libray at the time you tried to log in? I have had a similar problem and it was because another user was logged into the library when I attempted to. I got the permission denied banner.

If you wish to use home sharing then you need to setup the Apple TV under your ID.

If the operator set the wrong save as setting, i need to inform while running the script. I downloaded a ringtone ap, picked out my ringtones and sent them to myself, got them in itunes and then synced my iphone. No new ringtones on my iphone. It said to look in custom, I do not have that listed under ringtones in sounds. What do I do or can I get different ringtones on my phone?

I have a problem that I can not load or even close the download in iTunes, it turns out I have hanging in the mode, and because of that I can't download from AppStore, because it turns out that the other programs I have on standby. What do I do? Thank you.
If there are multiple apps trying to download at once, only one can download at a time and the rest say "Waiting" until it is then their turn. Try this. Double tap the icon of the Waiting app, and it should resume the download.
If that doesn't work:
• Log out of your iTunes store account. Go to Settings > Store > Sign Out Then press the Home button.
• Then press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously and don't release them when it brings up the Turn Off screen; keep holding them until the Apple logo appears.
• After restart, the Waiting should be gone.

JS/PS CS3: identify single pixels sticking out
In a bitmap, is it possible to identify single pixels sticking out from a shape? Let's say I have this black shape in a black-and-white bitmap:

an 8 by 4 rectangle with one pixel sticking out from the bottom. Question is, can I find such pixels using a script (JS) and make it white?
