I purchased a Samsung NX 300 which comes with a licenced Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4. It has given error after downloadeing and I couldn't trace it. What should I do?

Do you have a License key? 24 digit numerical? If yes uninstall to existing version of Lightroom using your operating system procedure, this will not interfere with your catalog, preferences and personal files.
Download the appropriate version for your operating system from this site. Product updates proceed to install and enter your License key.
If you have a Adobe Creative Cloud subscription then you may need to uninstall the existing version the reboot and open the Adobe Creative Cloud Application Manager, login to your account and Lightroom CC should be available to install. The application will be automatically activated.

I purchased Adobe Lightroom online and just as I finished the purchase my computer showed a system error and booted me off.
I purchased Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4 full, Mac/Win, English Dowload. I cannot download this purchase - the only options available are to download lightroom in Multiple languages which isn not what I paid for. Tried to get help by calling the number Adobe tells you to call right away but it's the week-end and they tell you to call back during the week. Any suggestions to figure out how to download what I purchased?

Have you received your Lightroom 4 serial number?
Try downloading the Lightroom 4.3 trial version from the Adobe website.

If you've got your serial number you can enter that into the trial version.
If not, you can run the trial for free for 30 days and sort out the serial number issue with Adobe during the week.

I recently attempted to update my copy of Lightroom 5 and the computer crashed mid-install. Now when I try to re-download the software from the Adobe website, the webpage never downloads the installer.

Downloading Adobe Lightroom 4

I just purchased the Lightroom 4 download for Mac. I downloaded the program and the Installation box appeared, opened files and said the installation was complete. It then prompts me to close the window. When I do, nothing else pops up and I do not seem to have the newly installed program on my computer. What should I do next?

Not sure, what exactly you want. If you have installed LR 4 successfully, it might be under the Applications folder. Check if you see LR 4 under Applications. If you do, you can drag it to the Dock.
Now, as far as serial number is concerned, you should be able to view your serial key under My Adobe->My Order History. If not, you can register your product first from LR 4(Help->LR Registration->Type country,name, email address and hit Register) and then login to adobe.com->My Adobe->My Product->Select LR and it should display your serial number there.
Let me know in case you face any issues in following the above suggestions.

Problems installing Adobe Lightroom 4

After downloading Adobe Lightroom 4 on my Windows 7 computer I get an "error reading stup initialization file" message. I am not sure what to do now. My computer meets all system requirements and I am logged in as the administrator.

That's a good question which often leads to a lot of debate. Most benchmarks show the effect of dual channel is minimal, probably because with most applications memory is not the bottleneck, other sub-systems like the hard drive or graphics are.
It really depends on what you're going to do with the computer: if a lot of Elements 4 work under Rosetta with many windows open etc. I think you'd be well served by going to 2GBs of RAM. If intensive use like that will be minimal, and mostly you're going to "iLife it up," e-mail, surfing, etc. then you'd probably be happy adding another 512MB. Over time as more programs go Universal the overhead imposed by Rosetta will be less & less of an issue.
When shopping be sure to check out OWC (Other World Computing) for their pricing on genuine Samsung memory (I'm not a fan of their "no name" brand). Apple uses a lot of Samsung itself, as well as Micron which you can buy from Crucial.com. Others will have their own favorites to recommend, of course.

Downloading Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4 JRun Serlet Error

I am trying to download Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4, that I purchased back in 2012 for my windows laptop, to my new Mac laptop but when I click the download button all I get is JRun Serlet Error 413 Header length to Large.
