Downloading already purchased product onto new computer

I'm looking to buy a new computer but I want to know that I'll be able to redownload CS6 onto my new computer without buying it again as I cannot afford to do that. Does anyone know if that's possible and how to do that?

P.S. if you need to download the software again, you can get it from http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/cs6-product-downloads.html

how do i download previous purchases to my new computer. my old computer

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for just such an occasion.
Use your backup to put everything back.
If for some reason you have failed to backup ( not good), then you can transfer from an ipod: File>Transfer Purchases
If you are in the U.S. you can use the cloud:

  • Downloading already-purchased tunes onto a new computer?

Hi, my old Compaq got damaged in a fall, and the hard disk was unrecoverable. I ended up buying a new HP with Vista, and downloaded itunes, so far so good, and MOST of my library from a backup I made in January. Thought I could download already-purchased tunes on up to 5 computers, but reading the FAQ, I see I could only download it once, then play the tunes (from a disk) on 5 computers.
Is there anyway around this once-only download rule? I think I downloaded at least 4-5 albums since I ran my backup (yes, dumb plan, not to be repeated), and don't want to have to pay for them again. Can anyone help?
    Thanks.

    Hi, centava99.
Is there anyway around this once-only download rule?
As you have learnt, Apple's policy is clear: iTS purchases can be downloaded only once. It is your responsibility to make back-ups .
That being said, at their discretion they have made one-time exceptions to this policy. You can ask for an exception by submitting the form at the bottom of this page:

    Good Luck!

  • Why can't I download already purchased music onto my ipad mini

I can't download already purchased music. I've tried connecting to my Macbook but it doesn't recognise my ipad mini.

Try deleting the waiting app then reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

  • How to download purchased music onto new computer (please)?

How can I get my purchased music back onto a new computer? Old one crashed, only had some of my music on the ipod. I've followed some posts to get the ipod music back to the computer, but I see songs in itunes purchase history that are not showing up anywhere (that I can see). Is there any way to get these back? I tried the option that iTunes lists for downloading purchased music, but these didn't seem to download. Can anyone help? I'm not real computer savvy so please explain it "for dummies." thanks

  • Downloading previously purchased songs to new computer

How do I re-download songs that I already purchased and downloaded onto my old computer, onto my new computer? Or how do I get access to the iTunes library on my old computer from my new computer?

You can only download iTunes purchases once: iTunes Store: Purchased content can be downloaded only once
This page will give you various options for copying purchases from one computer to another: iTunes for Windows: How to copy purchases between authorized computers
Probably the most straightforward way to get iTunes onto your second computer is to network it with the first one and copy your iTunes folder across. Start by consolidating your library. When you consolidate, any songs in the iTunes Library that are not in the iTunes Music Folder are copied to the Music Folder and the Library is updated to point to those new files. Files already in the iTunes Music Folder have no changes made to them: Copying all your iTunes files to one location - Windows
Copying the whole folder brings with it the iTunes Music folder and also the iTunes Library (iTunes Library.itl in Windows) database file which holds all the information about your songs (Playlists, Ratings, Play Counts, Last Played, Date Added, etc). You'll get more information including the Folder/File structure in this article: What are the iTunes library files?
When you copy the iTunes folder make sure you put it into the default location on the new computer. On a PC this is \Documents and Settings\Username\My Documents\My Music\ (or C:\Username\Music\ in Vista). You should also use the same version of iTunes on both computers.
You can also use this method with an external hard drive, you drag the folder from the first computer to the external drive and then from the drive to the second computer.
If you have and iPod, some iPods can be used as an external drive and you can use them to move your iTunes (this option isn't available with the iPod Touch): How to use your iPod to move your music to a new computer
Also if you are disposing of the old computer remember to deauthorise it so you don't use up one of your 5 allowances: About iTunes Music Store Authorisation and Deauthorisation

it shouldn't be a Problem to install PSE 11 on your new PC. I would use a try version from Adobe's download site and change it into a "real" version by inserting your serial number and activate it.
The trial version is for the current version which is Elements 12. The Elements 11 serial number will not work with Elements 12.
Elements 11 can be downloaded from Download Photoshop Elements products | 11, 10

  • Move itunes purchased albums onto new computer

I purchased albums off itunes store using a computer that is now broken(unrecoverable), can i retrieve these albums onto my new computer? how?

Use the form on this page to request a free redownload, or use the Transfer Purchases feature if applicable. If neither of these works, you will need to purchase the songs and other content again to get them back; Apple needs to pay the copyright holders for each download from the iTunes Store other than podcasts and album artwork.
