Completely agreed TristanSF.
Also, this page, https://creative.adobe.com/#apps, has a Download link for Gaming Tools that only gives an error and no download. I asked the support team via chat and I was told that he would recommend the phone service to me.
Wich I called and I was told they dont know at this time.
The download link takes you to this page: http://www.adobe.com/go/GamingTools
That link forrwards you to: https://www.adobe.com/products/gaming/tools.html
That link opens up a blank page and my web browser just tells me "Error on page" and leaves an Exclamation point inside of a triangle at the bottom left.
No download starts or stops, no activex prompt, nothing.

I think there's a way to change the default directory. I'm not a admin or anything, just a normal user who works with motion graphics.
In the AAM window, your full name (that appears to be grayed out) of your account will appear at the upper-left corner. Click on that and then click Preferences.
I think from there, you can change the default location to wherever you want it to go, but it might be like you said - it isn't made exactly the way to use for a specific program like making a folder for each different software on each seperate partition. That procedure would be having to go change the default directory every time installing a new program...
I don't mind too many safety notification pop-ups just as long its communicating with me. I worry that if I ended up with a virus and had to resort to using Safe-Mode and then System Restore on a PC, then all of my apps will be synced prior to the restore date file it must load will be removed without clearing the initial installation data which means that the AAM will still appear that my apps are "up to date" when they're not even installed on my PC!!

  • Cannot install any apps from Creative Cloud in corporate environment.  Suspsected Firewall issues.

    Hello all.
I subscribed successfully and easily to CC on my home PC (iMac) and downloaded a few apps.  All is fine.
I wanted to download those same few apps on a remove machine I use several times a week (Win 7).
After many many attempts of trying to download CC and getting a generic error message, I learned it could be a firewall issue here at this work/office. I found this in Adobe's forums:
Many organizations use a hardware firewall and proxy server that can prevent software from accessing an FTP server. A hardware solution applies to all computers within the corporate network. Most home networks do not use hardware firewall or proxy technology.
Contact your company's IT department to obtain firewall or proxy information.
Configure your browser with proxy or firewall information.
Configure your corporate firewall to by-pass the servers. The following servers are accessed:
    ccmdl.adobe.com:80
    swupmf.adobe.com:80
    swupdl.adobe.com:80
Having nothing to loose, I put in a request and had these addresses/ports opened up in our firewall.  That seems to partially fix the problem.
Now the problem is the speed and traffic is so terribly slow with CC that nothing installs with out failing and giving error. For example, I am trying to install PhotoShop CC and it will take a couple of HOURS to even get to 10% and then it fails.  Usually, it doesn't get that far.  CC just gives me the generic message:
    "Installation Failed - Learn More."
Download error.  Press Retry to try again or contact customer support.(-7).
Our network admins swear that there is nothing wrong with the ports/firewall and yet all this works fine at my home.  Can anyone offer any suggestions or advice?  My internet connection here is fine.  All other sites load and work fine.  I simply cannot download any of the CC aps here with any reasonable speed.
    Help!
PS - The URLs and ports ping just fine.

    Hi RedBirdOBX1,
I'd recommend checking out the two pdf documents in the
Adobe Creative Cloud Service Access Documentation for IT section on this page:

    Adobe Creative Cloud Network Endpoints
Adobe Creative Cloud Controlling Service Access
and if you're still struggling this might be another alternative:

  • Do I need to uninstall CS5.5 before installing CS6 apps from Creative Cloud?

The video suggests you uninstall any Beta versions but says nothing about previous version of the apps.

Hi. I left CS5 on, installed CS6. There was a problem with the shortcuts but both CS6 and CS5 work. What I just found was that although files (.jpg in this case) opened through Bridge CS6 in Photoshop CS6, Windows Explorer still has CS5 associated with opening the file type. I could change that file type by file type but would guess there's a better way to get all file associations moved from CS5 to CS6. Thanks!

My problem now is the following:
After downloading and installing any app from the app store or even deploying it from Visual Studio, when i want to open the app it displays a blank page and shows the following error message:
    This page can’t be displayed.
Make sure the web address http://apps-95e7c833b3f075.sp.local is correct.
So as you can see my domain is `sp.local` and my app prefix is `apps`...
Sorry my problem is a bit wide-open.
I do have an `App Management Service` and `Subscription Settings Service` running on the server.

  • How to uninstall apps from Creative Cloud App and reinstall it on your computer and CC App?

Sorry, my English is not good. I have a Creative Cloud app on my computer. I used the CC applications such as Ps, Pr, Au ... of two days, but I had to do a system restore two weeks back. Now re-installed Creative Cloud on my computer. I do not have Ps, Pr, Au ... on the computer but on the App Cloud Creative sees them as installed on the computer. So I can not reinstall them because I do not give permission, it is only optional update, but I do not like, because they do not want on your computer. How to uninstall apps from Creative Cloud App and reinstall it on your computer and CC App? Please help, I have a little time.

Hi, I just purchased a Creative Cloud plan. When I open the Creative cloud, there is nothing there. How do I install apps from creative cloud?

    Hi la dama cooks,
I believe you are getting the blank Creative cloud applications.
Please refer to the threads below where the issue has been resolved:
Win: New Creative Cloud App unusable: it's blank!

  • Re-install an app in Creative Cloud

Creative Cloud crashed during install of Flash Builder, which in turn ended up crashing Windows when I tried to end it. When I restarted, Creative cloud claimed Flash Builder Premium was "Up to Date".
However, the start menu didn't have it and the folder created in windows didn't have the exe or all the files. I deleted the files(including some in temp folders...I did a search since there was no uninstaller), uninstalled Creative Cloud, and reinstalled Creative Cloud. However, it still says "Up to Date" next to Flash Builder. I see no way to reinstall/uninstall.
How can I redownload Flash Builder? How can I fix Creative Cloud so it doesn't think I have it installed?
I tried phone support and they directed me here. Please note: I am trying to install the trial version of Flash Builder, not the paid version.

Please try uninstalling Flash Builder by going to Control Panel-> Programs and Features. After Flash Builder gets uninstalled, try installing it again from Creative Cloud. If uninstalling from Control Panel does not work, please download Cleanup script from adobe.com: http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html?promoid=GYTAU. Use it to remove Flash builder fropm Creative Cloud database on the system. After running it, restart Creative Cloud Desktop app, and Flash Builder should now be available in Apps Pane to Install.

  • New CC apps from Creative Cloud

I just watched a new webinar from Terry White announcing the new branding and 15 new apps for Creative Cloud members. I'm an early subscriber and he mentioned cheaper rates than I'm paying? This upsets me because I thought early subscribers got the lower prices?
Also announced were new apps like Muse CC, Photoshop CC and more. How do these new apps affect my updates and functionality in Muse 2.0 which I update regularly to access the latest features? Are these apps touch apps for tablet development versus laptop or desktop development?
    Please advise me.
    LN Vaillancourt

    thebobwolf,
As soon as the new applications are made available ,you will have the same populated in your Application Manager . You can simply download them and there will be no need for any changes in your subscription plans at all.

  • Installed most apps on creative cloud but now have to upgrade to 64 bit

Hi, I am am new to Creative Cloud, I succesfully (with patience) downloaded and installed 11 of the Creative tool apps available to me. I could not download Photoshop CS6, after many attempts.  My OS is 32 bit and I was told I really should be running on a 64 bit. OK so I have the opportunity to upgrade but my question is:
Do I transfer these apps to the new system by CD or mobile drive or can I re-download them through the Adobe Application Manager through my account?  I would expect I am only allowed the one download, your advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Thank you John.
@Bunch3 - Photoshop has both 32-bit and 64-bit versions. The 64-bit version is recommended but you should still be able to run 32-bit Photoshop on your machine. If Photoshop is failing to download from the Adobe Application Manager (AAM) you can go to the Photoshop landing page http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop.html and in the dark gray sidebar on the right click on the yellow Try button. Download the installer and run it. Sign in with your Adobe ID. The only shortcoming of this method is that AAM may still show an Install button for Photoshop.

  • Uninstalling a single app from creative cloud

I am trying to uninstall a single app from creative cloud, specifically Photoshop CS6, however the only items listed in Add/Remove Programs is Creative Cloud. I am using Windows 8.1 and all the apps are listed under the Creative Cloud application.  Is their a repair application or some other method to uninstall the unwanted apps.

Alltehscreennamesareunava do you use some type of registry cleaner or system optimizer which may have already removed the entry?  Also to confirm you are looking in Programs and Features and not Add/Remove Programs?
I would also recommend reviewing CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when not installed - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/aam-lists-removed-apps-date.html which discusses similar behavior to what you are currently experiencing.

  • Reinstall app from creative cloud

How can I reinstall app from creative cloud if I removed this app by accident? I've tried all options that are suggested on the official site, but still no good.

    Hi Zoe25,
You can use CC Desktop apps to download all Adobe Creative Cloud applications. You can download CC Desktop apps from this link.

    Hope it helps.
