Downloading and Installing JDK and JSDK
I just got the book instant javaserver pages and it tells me to install JDK 1.2 for Linux and JSDK. Well I'm useing windows 98 and use IE6 mainly for a browser, so should I still download and install JDK for Linux? And the most resent version I could find on this site was 1.1.8.
do a search on the forum top right of this page
ill bet theirs over 10000 posts on it and getting it running
or look to the installation forum itself
as far as dling the right jdk if you have windows you use the windows version of the jdk the download spot
can be a lil tough to find but the jdk is easy to install once you find it and itll make a folder under the c drive

I had the same problem (Lightroom CC doesn't appear to run on Widnows) and your solution worked for me. Note that it isn't enough to just close and restart Creative Cloud. This is what I did:
Open Creative Cloud
Open Preferences and hit Sign Out
Sign back in again...
Now start Lightroom CC. This brought up a dialog labelled Photoshop CC saying that it needed to be signed in. When I dismissed it Lightroom then started up.
Something else I noticed that may help diagnose this issue is that the file amt.log contained the line:
04/21/15 23:09:07:623 | [INFO] | | | | AMT | | | 8804 | Application licensing status has changed to unlicensed.

im having troubles trying to download desktop apps, the blue wheel still spinning in the app tab, i've already try the solutions i've read here, uninstall CC and installed it again, uninstall it, download it again and install ir, and nothing works, I'm worried because i have a course of some software tomorrow (oct 10). I downloaded and installed TB and it pre-configured my wife's mailbox instead of setting up a new one for me.
The first time I ran it, there was her mailbox and all the msg's. I didn't input anything for a server, login or password. IOt just came up configured for her mailbox! Did it do that from the IP address or what?I would guess that Thunderbird has been installed previously and it has simply rediscovered an old profile folder.

Since downloading and installing Mavericks and Safari I cannot use the video call in Facebook. Anybody else having this problem and if so is there a solution?
I have this same issue! The button for to launch video chat isn't even there and when I go into skype to video in there I am able to get about 30 second of video then it freezes and won't come back.

It seems like you are getting update to Install Acrobat DC .That is the latest version of Acrobat .

I had quicktime pro, I upgraded to snow leapoard and installed iLife and lost quicktime pro. How do I get it back. I tried re installing quicktime but it will not let me??
Mac OS X 10.6 includes QuickTime versions 10.0 and 7.6.3. The QuickTime 7 player will only be present if a QuickTime Pro key was present at the time of installation, or if specified as part of a custom install, or individually downloaded:

Snow Leopard update 10.6.4 included an update to 7.6.6 (if installed). You can install it from the above link even though it says for 10.6.3. It's the same version of QuickTime Player 7.6.6.
(Only QuickTime Player 7.6.3 or 7.6.6 can be updated to "Pro".) -

After buying and installing Lightroom and Photoshop I have the following issues, Lightroom wont even launch and photoshop quits after launching. OS Windows 8. Any tips please?
Contacted customer care on chat and my problem has been partially solved. THis means Lightroom is not launching and works fine after a different download link was supplied. Very helpful. However Photoshop is still not working and CS agent told me that my problem will be forwarded to technical department and that they will call me (number supplied) on Monday. So far no one called. What is my next step please? Any suggestions? I need the program up and running. THanks

The easiest and most efficient way to copy your music is to follow the steps under the External drive section. Make sure that you have organized the iTunes library first before you copy it over. Then put the copied iTunes folder in the same Music folder on your computer.

In my Iphone 5, Nothing on my App Store is working, its displaying blank (Except for Genius section). I've tried to uninstall and install itunes and all its component in my desktop but still it doesn't fix the app store issue. Not sure if its problem with apple servers. Someone help please!
settigns>itunes and app store to make sure you are signed in.. If you are, you will see your account name..... anyhow, click your account name, sign out and sign back in
also go to to settings>general>reset and reset network settings... if that doesnt work settings>general>reset and reset all settings!

then i get this other error message also as follows: iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes error 7 (Windows error 127)

I got a new laptop and installed iTunes and plugged in my iPod but it won't get recognized on iTunes or in my computer, the computer says unknown device found and that the software was not successfully installed. Watermark PDF Action (Offset x,y now working)
I can create a watermarked PDF just fine, however, Automator freezes when I try to change the x and y offsets. As soon as I put the cursor in the box and try to change the value from 0, Automator will freeze. Any workarounds?
