Downloading and re uploading my site

I have used Dreamweaver 8.0.2 in the past and found it easy
to upload files. The question i want to ask is: The site i have
just uploaded was uploaded using Leech FTP but i find Leech a bit
of a pain as most of the time my files upload with no problems but
sometimes my files just wont upload.
Is it possible to download my whole website using Leech FTP
then upload it using Dreamweaver?
If it is possible, am i right in thinkin that when i upload
using dreamweaver i upload to /htdocs? When i uploaded using Leech
FTP i had to upload to /web.
All help would be much appreciated

You can use any program that's FTP compatibe to upload your
site via the FTP
Protocol,
but when you want to use Dreamweaver specific features like
Check-in/Check-out and Cloacking you should use only
dreamweaver because the
other programs will not handle these situations.

Does anyone know what causes ipad/iphones wireless to have slow download and high upload? Tried using linksys e3000 and linksys ea6500 and ipads/iphones get approximatly 1Mbps Down and about 5Mbps Up. Macbook pro gets 46Mbps down and 5Mbps Up and is consistent. Does anyone have any wireless settings such as channel width and frequency that works best?

I have no idea, but i would not buy another apple device as of now. I have 2 iphones (3GS, 4) and an iPad 2 on my home wifi. They usually get between 1-5mb speeds on wifi (i have a 50mb connection). I tested my laptop, 50+mb, my android phone 25mb+, yet every apple device on its best moment gets 5...usually 3 or lower.
I've tried everything...Different channels, WMM/QOS on/off, Wireless N only, Wireless G/N, i have a wireless N Verizon Fios router, i've shut wireless off on that and hooked up a D-link 655...tried everything, and still the sucky speeds. It's set to WPA2/AES. I can not even watch an HD youtube video without it pausing every few seconds.
Apple is no help, Verizon is no help...i'm completely out of ideas.

We recently changed to BT Unlimited broadband. I have tested our incoming line speeds for the past 2 months and we only get an average of 1.57 mbps on the line from exchange to home (between 1.37 and 1.5 to our PC's) and a pathetic upload speed of just .37 mbps !
Two questions really ... [1] I realise we are in the countryside, by why can't our connection be faster & [2} if it can't get any faster why are we charged the same as people who can download at mega-speeds ?
Any information would be gratefully received ... we are desperate ... We can just squeeze netflix films into our Smart TV, but Iplayer and Youtube we can forget.

Hi as far as i know, i tried downloading a midlet through another midlet, i used platformRequest method but i think its not implemented as its not getting me any result, so till date i havent seen anyone who has downloaded a midlet using another midlet

Yes, I discovered by this unfortunate experience that the names of photos are a serious issue if the site is to ever go to an FTP server. Apple should discuss this carefully in their "manual".
One more question: I uploaded the website to a folder on my desktop. When I open it, unlike the photos in iWeb, there are folders for each page which have all the photos in them. I went through each folder and changed the names to be FTP compatible. I'm using iWeb SEO Tool which allows one to upload from this local folder to an FTP server but having trouble.
Is this because there is an imbedment in iWeb that uses the old photo names to link to the actual photos and it can't find them because of the name changes?

This is a major problem nationwide.
Last week sitting at the Atlanta International Airport waiting on a flight, Ookla Speedtest was showing 0.04 Down / < 0.00 Up. This is my first time to check the network speeds since first purchasing a 4G device. I was trying to get a 10MB e-mail attachment to review during my flight. I couldn't get the attachment (the download kept timing out) so I ran the speed test to see what was going on.
Right now, sitting at LAX waiting on a flight to Tokyo, the Ookla result is 0.23 Down / 0.09 Up.
These are abysmal speeds. At the price you charge for 4G service and smartphone use, we (the customers) deserve better. It took me 10 minutes just to login and post this message.
Coupled with the major issues I'm experiencing roaming internationally, this is the first time in my 10+ years with Verizon I'm considering moving to a competitor.
I will keep testing as I move around the country, and I will give you a couple months to fix these issues before I make a change.

I have 5 computers running top end processors and RAM. By this I mean I have one, this one which I am using that has an AMD Phenom Black 3.2 Quad-core with 8 GBs of Corsair top DDR2 RAM, my other two AMD have either an Athlon II triple core with 4 GBs of DDR2 Corsair RAM, one with the Phenom X4 965 3.4 GHz Quad-core with 8 GBs of their best DDR2 RAM, and two Intels with the i7 920 Processors using the triple channel 1366 socket processors and one with 8 GBs of low latency DDR3 RAM and the other with 4 GBs of the same RAM. I am getting the message on this one, which has a fresh install of XP Pro X64 operating system, as do the other 4 as well. I have run Avast Business Pro Anti-virus on this one, which I am getting the message on with a single result which I deleted, and also both Spybot Search and Destroy, which came back clean as well as Malwarebytes Antimalware, which got a lot of tracing cookies now removed, and SuperAntiSpware which also found a few cookies also now deleted. Can you tell me what I need to do to get these files to show as .pdf files rather than as a clean blank page. One other issue is that I wish to know how to turn off my downloads so they are saved and Mozilla will give me the option of returning them instead of me losing them all together as it does now. First you need to install a means of printing to pdf from word. I like cutepdf writer ( http://cutepdf.com/Products/CutePDF/writer.asp ). Once installed you will print the doc in word and under the printer selection you choose pdf.
Once you have the file you put it in your local site folders and upload it using Dreamweaver. Be sure to link to it from a page so users can get to it and I would recommend giving the link a target of _black so it will open in a new window (see the properties inspector in DW).

If you have older versions of excel and word that previously ran under the Rosetta emulator (allows PowerPC code to run on Intel system), they will no longer work with Lion.
You can use the Apple programs Pages and Numbers to access the files. They can be bought and downloaded from the App store. NeoOffice is available at http://www.neooffice.org/neojava/en/index.php which has Lion support. OpenOffice doesn't talk to Lion support, it's at http://www.openoffice.org/
