I had to uninstall Photoshop CS5 Extended because it was missing files. I have the original installation disk and my serial number but my disk drive on my computer is broken (or the installation disk may be corrupted). Is there a way I can download Photoshop CS5 Extended, install it and then add my serial number? TIA

if you have a problem downloading, you didn't follow all 7 steps, or your browser does not accept cookies.
the most common error involves failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).

Hello...I currently run Photoshop 6 and all was well into my computer crashed and I was forced to re-install all my programs. Unfortunately, the CD 's I own are for Photoshop 5 with an update disc to Photoshop6 and were purchased for my old Windows XP operating system. Three years ago I upgraded to Windows 7. Now, of course, when I try to install my program the CD's are not recognized. Please tell me what I should do. Thanks...

You could a do a search on adobe's site for photoshop 6 downloads. As long as you still have your license # (It should also be located on adobe site if you registered) you should be ready to go.
Windows 7 should recognize the cd's, but the installer may be too old. If you don't get it, you should try the contact page and talk to support. That said, don't expect much help since it is out of date.
BTW, if this elements and not the full version, you need to specify that in your search. It makes a difference on your results.

I purchased a new iMac Retna Display and converted over my other software from my old iMac. Most all apps converted fine, however Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 just launched with an error stating we needed to reinstall the application. We have the original serial number but can not find a copy of Elements 11 on Adobe's site to download and reinstall. Also, we can not find any contact information for Adobe support even though the messages in the forum state we must contact adobe customer support to resolve this issue.

I've downloaded and installed photoshop cs6, but I can't find it on my mac air.

I downloaded and installed creative cloud, and I then downloaded Adobe Application Manager, and from that I downloaded and installed Photoshop cs6. When I clicked on 'launch app' nothing happened. According to the application manager I've installed photoshop, yet I can't find it anywhere on my mac air, all there is are a bunch of folders, but the actual program of photshop is nowhere to be found.

Ficam56 if you go to Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers do you see a listing for Photoshop there? If so please run the uninstaller and then reinstall.

I don't think I can access the crash report? Excuse the ignorant questions I'm about to make am a relative tech novice.
Soo - as mentioned every time I open photoshop it crashes - it just says there's an error and the program will shut down and if there's a solution windows will notify me. Then nothing...
I've tried to look in photoshop files for the detailed crash report & the system event viewer but cannot find a file with those names. I've also looked in the windows files for files with those names but cannot find them either - so I don't know where to look.
Any guidance would be great.

You were probably using the Release Candidate version of camera raw 8.7, which one gets from Adobe Labs.

Try Solution 2: Clean up cached user login information.

As long as your license supports both platforms you should only have to download the Mac version and install/activate using your serial number. If you need help finding a link to download the file, please indicate the PSE version you need.

I have downloaded and installed Photoshop Elements 11 on my new Macbook Pro. Why can't I see my scanner (Epson Perfection 3200 Photo) from the File>Import menu?

There was no driver update available (it said my driver was up to date), so I just deleted the scanner and restarted the computer. when it came up, the scanner had already been added again. With great anticipation I tried to import from Photoshop...but no luck (scanner was not visible). I finally ended up calling Epson (had great difficulty in locating a number for support) and they finally told me there is no driver update for OS X 10.10 and I should as a work around use "Image Capture" application. I tried it, and it works quite well.
