    Hi Wendy,
in addition to John's hint you should have a look there to "correct answer" in https://forums.adobe.com/message/5441322#5441322 "Creative Cloud client will not download". There Sumit Singh talks about "I am suspecting the AAM URI handler is not working." and gives stepwise advices.
And he recommends this link https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud.

On How many computers and iOS devices can I download creative cloud app?
so far it is on an iMac, an macbook pro, an iPhone , and iPad.    now it won't download onto a macbook air.

    Hi,
see >>> http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/install-apps.html here >>> How many computers can I install on
I quote: You may install software on up to two computers. These two computers can be Windows, Mac OS, or one each.
If you install on a third computer, it will request you to de-activate on the other two computers. You can then reactivate one of the previous two computers, and use Creative Cloud apps on it.

  • Problems with Downloading Creative Cloud, Apps

When I initially downloaded the Creative Cloud app itself, the download was incredibly slow.
When I finally did get it installed, I kept running into more problems. When I first open the Creative Cloud app, it takes so long I have to go and do other work before I can come back and see that the Home tab has information in it other than being blank.  When I click on the blue Install Adobe Apps button, I get "Download Error" screens, sometimes with a wait with a spinning wheel first.
I've already tried renaming the opm.db file, but that didn't help.
I also checked, and the Behance tab is loading just fine.

  • Why can't I download Creative Cloud apps?

    Hi
I joined the Creative Cloud Photography Offer.
    I logged in.
I can see the page Apps & Services.
When I select Creative Cloud App it only opens the header to that page. No content displays. I cannot therefore download anything. Same with Lightroom or PS.
I tried other pages, but Adobe home page, Learn Page, and Customer Service all say Safari can't connect to server.
I can see these pages if I open Adobe website on my Windows laptop and iPad.
I have reset Safari, turned off plug-ins, updated Flash Player and Java, reset Safari, but no luck.
I have tried using Firefox and have the same issue. I still cannot connect with most of your website from my Mac, which is where I do all my photo editing.
I am currently on my PC laptop, as my Mac cannot access the customer service chat or the forums.
I have Mavericks installed on my Mac

It turns out that Adobe is editing the Hosts file on the Mac, preventing those browsers from reaching adobe.com
Locate the terminal app and run it.
Open the hosts file by typing the following in the Terminal window and pressing return:
    sudo nano /private/etc/hosts
Type your user password XXXXX prompted.
If you see references to Adobe, that is what is preventing the connection.

  • Download Creative Cloud Apps For our Macs from Admin PC?

I am the systems admin for a company that has a new CC subscription. My workstation is a PC but I need to install CC on a Mac. When I go to download CC apps or the CC desktop, it wants to give me PC executables instead of letting me choose. I don't want to go get in the way of the graphics team just to download this software. Can I do this from my admin workstation or do I have to download it from the Mac?

I'm not sure about this but it's possible that Creative Cloud is set to auto-detect the system OS that you are currently downloading onto.  There may be an override for this to allow you the option to choose which installers to download but I do not know how to set this option.  Have a look at your CC desktop app settings if there is any option available, otherwise call Adobe technical support for direct download links of products.

  • Why can't I download Creative Cloud apps when running Linux?

Using Linux (Mint), when trying to download any CC app, e.g. Photoshop CC I am told:
"You are running an operating system that Photoshop no longer supports. Refer to the system requirements below for a full list of supported platforms."
I have an active membership, why do you care which operating system I run? (I am not talking about installation or anything else)
In my opinion it's bad practice to exclude your customers from downloading the products they paid for!
Looking forward to an explanation! Thanks.

Most of the Adobe applications only run on Windows and Mac OS. You can see the System Requirements by going to https://creative.adobe.com/products and choosing a product. Then chose the System Requirements tab. So for Photoshop you will see:
There are the Touch app which run mostly on iOS with PS Touch running on Android too.
    No applications run on Linux.

  • Can't download Creative Cloud apps

I keep getting "OS X doesn't recognize internet addresses starting with "aam:".

I've finally resolved the problem by using the application cleaner.  However, every time I try to reinstall I get a message that my subscription has expired.  Maddening ….

  • "Download Error" in Creative Cloud App

Help! Creative cloud no longer shows the apps that need to be updated. It just gives me this message "Download Error. Press retry to try again or contact customer support." Every time I click on "Reload Applications," it just gives me the same message. See image below.
This has been happening for a month. I've restarted my mac and uninstalled & reinstalled Creative Cloud, but it didn't fix the issue. Log in info are all correct as well as billing info.

I tried downloading the update in a new Admin account and it WORKED!
For anyone else having the same problem, here is the other stuff that I tried that didn't work:
    - Changing from WiFi to wired internet connection. The wifi is running through an Apple AirPort station, with all the ports that Adobe uses open.
    - I looked up the permissions on my Library and they were set to Read/Write and still I couldn't download the update
    - I'm not running any security software that could be interfering with the download.
    - Deleting and reinstalling the Creative Cloud app didn't help.
When I tried downloading Creative Cloud apps for the first time, it wouldn't work at my office so I had to take the computer offsite. It worked perfectly. I talked to IT support at work and they couldn't find any reason that a network setting was keeping the download from happening here. Still a mystery.
For clarification, I was always able to sync fonts with Typekit through the CC app, just couldn't download PS and AE updates. I still haven't tried file sync with CC.
Thanks for the help Adobe people!
