Downloading Creative Cloud files.

Either I'm just missing something or Adobe's really screwed up.  I uploaded a couple image files in a test folder on Adobe Creative Cloud.  I'd like to download them but it appears that it's possible to download only one at a time.  It's hard to believe one can't select many images at once for downloading.  Had hoped to upload images to Adobe Cloud as a backup while traveling and then download them once I get home (if I needed to access my backup files), but downloading hundred or thousands of images one at a time would likely take weeks or months .
UPDATE:  Just found a couple similar questions, both answered by Adobe that it is indeed only possible to download one image at a time.  Unbelievable!

Yes, you are correct with the information that you have discovered. Currently you can only download one file at a time. I agree with you, that a user should be able to download more than one file at a time. I will send this information as a feature request to our Creative Cloud team for you. I do now know when the feature would be available, but hope to see it become available soon.

    I'm working on a project that has me using the Creative Cloud files to store the changes I make. I know I'm not using all of the features, but with my own personal account on two machines and my employers site license on the other, I end up using the browser version of Creative Cloud to upload and download files on my work computer.
    When I download a book file (.indb), Creative Cloud and my browser seem to get confused as to what kind of file it is. Creative Cloud asks me and doesn't have an option for InDesign Book. When it downloads, it downloads as a .octet-stream file. I later go to Finder and change the extension to indb and life is good.
    Is this a bug or a feature?

  • Creative Cloud Files Public Download Bug

    When I make a file in my Creative Cloud Files public and downloadable and share the link, the download does not work for other people. I can download the file fine when I am signed in to my account. When the link is shared and someone clicks Actions -> Download, the browser returns the message:
    {"message":{"x-request-id":"xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx"}}
    The x's are all hexadecimal characters and are different every time the download is requested. (I omitted them in case they are tied to my file somehow.)
    I have found a way around this but it should be fixed since most people won't know what to do. You can download the file by removing the string "access_token=undefined" from the URL.
    While experimenting with this, I found a security exploit that allows you to download a publicly shared file even if downloads are disabled by the sharer. Replace the shared URL "https://creative.adobe.com/share/xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx" with https://d0.creative.adobe.com/api/assets/xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx" and the file will download.

    Ken: I have the same issue. It's highly unprofessional to send a link to a client only for them to say that it doesn't work. Is there any update on this? Or are we to be met with the same wall of silence from Adobe we had after the Creative Cloud Connection fiasco?

    It is not necessary to retain the older installations.  YOu might want to consider if you will have any need for them in terms of working with older files, but other than that you can probably uninstall them without missing them.

  • Fonts not displaying properly in Creative Cloud files

    I just noticed that fonts are not displaying properly in my Creative Cloud files.  The strange thing is, they continue to display correctly in files I uploaded prior to release - it's just in files I upload now that the fonts are reverting to some generic display font.

    The display problem also applies to downloads of the newer file as a JPG, PNG or PDF, although the fonts are still present in the downloaded original file.  With the older uploaded file, download as PDF is not available (presumably because this was a release feature), but download as JPG and PNG outputs a file with the correct fonts intact.
    This is a serious problem, because it makes previews inaccurate as well as making the download feature almost useless.  Was it perhaps an unintended side-effect of turning on download as PDF?

    On a related topic, here's another Illustrator file with fonts displaying incorrectly, but this time it also has problems with the download links - the options for PNG, JPG and PDF do not appear at all.

  • My machine crashed on the first download with what appeared to be 90% done, now it is stuck "downloading Creative cloud desktop" at about 10% internet working fine.

    My machine crashed at the first attempt to download, now the Adobe installer is stuck at 10% when trying to download Creative Cloud desktop. do I need to purge some files to get it going? iMac 10.6.8 Internet service is fine. Thanks.

    Thomh57685518 I would strongly encourage you to run Mac OS 10.7 or later if possible.  You can find the system requirements for the Creative Cloud applications at System requirements | Creative Cloud.

  • Trying to download creative cloud but it says a copy is already running

    I'm trying to download creative cloud but it says a copy is already running on my mac.  Checked and closed all programs and I still get the same message

    It means some or few files are running in the back ground, you can close them from Task manager (Windows) or Activity Monitor(Mac).
    In case you have difficulty in identifying the processes being run for CC, the best way would be to close the computer completely which shall close all the processes, once you turn on the computer, download CC first.

    Only one Adobe Creative Suite 5 or CS5.5 installation can run a time. Otherwise, one of the following error messages appears:

    Click Quit (for the first message) or No (for the second message) to exit the installer.  
    Close other Adobe setups:  
      Windows
    Right-click the taskbar and select Task Manager.  
    Select the Processes tab, and select Show Processes From All Users.  
    Select any PDapp.exe or setup.exe process, and click End Process.  
    Repeat for all additional instances of PDapp.exe or setup.exe processes.  
      Mac OS  
    Press Command + Option + Esc.
    In the Force Quit Applications window, select PDapp or Adobe Setup and click Force Quit.
    Repeat for all additional instances of the applications.
    Retry the installer.

    It takes me a long time to understand, but still ongoing this error, its makes me crazy !! I purchased your Adobe CC and I can't use it...
    Dialog box tells me that its a 205 errorCode. It the only software I can't download... The others works fine. No problem of Firewall and I have no Proxy...
    I use Windows Defender, try to turn in out while installing but nothing has changed...

    AlexDorfman I would recommend asking your I.T. department to review Creative Cloud for enterprise for information on how to configure the firewall to allow the Creative Cloud Desktop application to download.

  • I downloaded Creative Cloud, but why can't I download the Photoshop trial?

    I downloaded Creative Cloud, but when I click to download Photoshop trial under the Apps, I'm getting the message "Unable to extract files.  Please Retry to download again or contact customer support (EX20)".
    Can anyone help?  Every time I click retry I just get the same failure message.

    What browser are you using?
    Do you have a software firewall?
    Are you running any anti-virus, or anti-malware software?
    What are your security settings?

    It is an unusually large file size, or are many people experiencing this issue? It seems to have been stalled for two hours - no movement. My internet connection is fine.

  • No preview for InDesign Creative Cloud Files

    I uploaded a number of files to the "Creative Cloud Files" folder on my computer, then went to creative.adobe.com Files section to view them.
    Illustrator and Photoshop files display properly with a preview, color swatches, layer control, etc.
    But InDesign files display as a blank icon, no color swatches and cannot be paged through.
    They can be downloaded and opened just fine, so they are not corrupt or anything.

    I know this is supposed to work with InDesign files.
    I have seen a few examples of people being able to page through an InDesign file.

    If you are using Windows please cancel the current installation.  Once the installation is canceled please rename the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE folder to OOBE_old.  Once the folder is renamed please try installing the Creative Cloud Desktop application from https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud.

    It is advisable to download and run the file directly however if you want to use the External hard drive then download the setup files of the software via http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cc-direct-download-links.html and install them on your PC.
    Please read and follow the Very Important section or else the download will not start.
    One Creative Cloud Subscription allows you two install on two computers. If you are signing in on more than two machines, it will ask you to deactivate it from previous two machines to install it on the third machine.
