Downloading CS5.5 Production Premium...

Hi,
In November 2011 my work bought 5 licenses for the CS5.5 Production Premium. I downloaded and used 4 of the 5 licenses. Currently, I'm trying to download and use the last license for CS5.5..... but CS6 is out and I can't seem to find a place to download CS5.5. I've tried transfering from one computer to another and it tells me there's an error and that I should uninstall and reinstall..... but I have nothing to reinstall from. I've seen a couple other threads for places to download it, but the links don't work. {It keeps telling me access denied} I've followed the step by step instructions carefully and tried multiple times on multiple computers.
Does anyone have any ideas about what I'm doing wrong or what I can do to install CS5.5 on this new computer?
Thanks!

Does anyone have any ideas about what I'm doing wrong
You are not backing up your installers as advised on the download page. Seriously, and I know this sounds harsh/ rude, if you have 5 licenses what in the world has stopped you from buying a cheap external USB disk to put them on there for reuse later? One of your existing installs could long have broken down and then you'd still have the same problem. Other than that, Manish already gave you the proper link. If it doesn't work, get in touch with support about alternatives.

  • Need to download CS5.5 Production Premium (STE) [was: Tired of the download run-around]

I'm operating on a Windows Vista system and I'm trying to access a download link to Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Production Premium (Student Teacher Edidtion). I had the suite previously downloaded onto the computer but we've had the hardrive crash and wipe clean since then.
I'm aware that there's another website with "flawless" directions as to how to download older versions of programs, but those did not work no matter what way I tried them. Could someone please send me a link to a downloadable version of the software that I rightfully paid for? Thanks.

If you're referring to the prodesigntools.com website, it's the only URL I know of via which you can download older versions of Adobe software.
    http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cs5-5-direct-download-links.html
The Very Important Instructions on that page are simple enough to follow provided you follow them before you click the download links.
After that the download links will work.

  • CS5.5 Production Premium via Akamai or direct download: unrecognised, small .dmg file size

A discussion / open call for help about my experiences downloading the product. This may help
    Product:
CS5.5 Production Premium (download version), Intel Based Mac
    My system:
    MacBook Pro OSX 10.6.8
    FireFox 7.0
    Safari 5.1
    Chrome 15
    Problem:
Downloading the 8.2GB .dmg file from order history/your downloads page or opening downloaded file.
    1. Akamai shows that "download integrity is invalid". Confirming to start the process over yields same result. Also noticed that filesze is only 202.36MB.
    2. "Alternative download method" of direct download results in a 212MB file that is not recognised as a disk image.
    3. Speaking to chat support, and going through the above steps again, a direct link was eventually provided, but "access denied" error (to what appears to be the trial version of CS5, not CS5.5). We then had to initiate and cancel a Lightroom download, then go back to the direct link to start CS5 trial.
Download started, but filesize was only 608MB, which cannot be right (no screenshot) No further help on this issue from chat support. I am expecting a call from them, but then I received a case update e-mail saying that they were "happy that we have started the download for Production Premium CS5.5", so not very encouraging.
Also not clearly explained was why I was given the trial. I assume I can unlock the full version with my serial.
    4. Via CS5.5 product page, I started downloading trial using Adobe Download Manager. I have to hover over the progress bar to see what the download status is - 15 hours to go. At least it has initiated and seems to be downloading the right filesize. I am hoping I can just put my serial in this and unlock the full version.
Not the smoothest experience so far. I'll update if this works.

(update:) I've also tried downloading other elements, such as CS5.5 master and I've got the same problem. It seems that EVERY downloads stop before the end...
What does it mean? That Adobe doesn't want users to downlaod trials?

  • CS5.5 Production Premium Serial Number no longer works

    Hi there.
I purchased CS5.5 Production Premium back in October of 2011. After upgrading to a new mac and installing the CS5.5 software, it will not accept my serial number. I'm copying and pasting it directly from my Adobe account, so there's no chance of mistyping here. It just won't accept it. Any ideas on how to get back up and running?
Thank you in advance for any assistance,
    Jamey Scott

Jamey Scott I am sorry you have faced a frustrating experience contacting our support team.  I do see that you opened multiple cases.  If you are not seeing the option to chat with a member of our team then it is likely the security settings of your current web browser, a toolbar, or add-on is preventing you from accessing this feature.
I reviewed your account and it appear that you have been assigned as deploy-to id.  This means that if you do not currently have access to https://licensing.adobe.com/ you will want to click on the forgot password link to reset your password.
I would recommend utilizing a different web browser since both issues could be related to the current web browser you are using.  If you face additional difficulties you can also download the installation files to a USB drive utilizing a different computer.

  • Where can I download CS5.5 design premium

    Hi there
Can anyone point me in the right direction to download CS5.5 design premium please?
All the links I find take you to a download page for CS6.
Any help would be much appreciated.
    Thanks
    Ben

You can download the trial installer directly from the link below. You will need to be on a trial download page in order to use the links, otherwise you will get an error message. For example load up the following page: http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=production_premium before pasting the link into the address bar and login with your adobe id and then cancel the download.

  • Upgrade CS5.5 Design Premium with CS5.5 Production Premium

I would like to upgrade my current CS5.5 Design Premium with CS5.5 Production Premium; but, have been told, in so doing, I would lost access to InDesign. Is that accurate? I would think it is a matter of doing a selective install to not overwrite the overlapped programs, but I want to be sure before making the purchase.
    Thanks!

It's because of the Security options.
Go to System Preferences... > Security & Privacy and there should be a button saying Open Anyway, under the General tab.
You can avoid doing this by changing the options under Allow apps downloaded from:, however I would recommend keeping it at the default Mac App Store and identified developers.

  • CS5.5 Production Premium Installation complications

I downloaded a trial version for CS5.5 Production Premium; I decided to go ahead and buy the whole full version of it. I payed for it and got the serial numbers needed,  but in the middle of the installation, it asks for a serial number update for a "qualifiying  product".
None of the other serial numbers work, and I'm not sure what qualifying product I'm supposed to be having. I thought I was just installing a new suite of programs, not udgrading  from an previous version I never had in the first place.
I'm sorry, but I'm a little annoyed by all this. What on earth am I missing just to get the full version already?

Call Adobe Customer Support. Somehow you either ordered an upgrade version or if you ordered correctly were given the serial number for an upgrade instead of a full version. Only Adobe Customer Support can assist you with this. These forums are user-to-user forums and not an online outlet for either Adobe Customer Support or Adobe Technical Support. Good luck!

  • Upgrade a single component of CS5.5 Production Premium

I purchased a boxed retail copy of Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 Upgrade from CS5.5 (Windows). I wanted to upgrade just the Premiere component of my CS5.5 Production Premium. It will not install. Can I get it to work?

You can download the trial version of the software from the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.

  • Downloading CS5.5 Design Premium

How can I download CS5.5 Design Premium? I have tried this link: Download CS5.5 products
But it does not work...its the download that I have tried numerous times unsuccessfully in which I believe doesn't work because it is not a trial version and needs a serial number. I will start downloading it and it does fine... when it is almost finished downloading it stops automatically and says I do not have the necessary requirements for the download.(which i believe what it wants is the serial number) Thing is... I have a serial number, I just don't know how I can input it before the download is even finished downloading.
Basically, I want to download CS5.5 Design Premium Trial version.. So that I can input my serial number and thus have full access to all the applications that are a part of CS5.5 Design Premium. Any help with finding the trial version of Design premium. I have the install CD... I just want to put these applications on my new mac that does not have a place for me to insert the install CD.

You can download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.
Be sure to follow the steps outlined in the Note: Very Important Instructions section on the download pages at this site and have cookies enabled in your browser or else the download will not work properly.

  • Cs5.5 production premium...how many machines can I install this on?

I just purchased cs5.5 production premium...it hasn't arrived yet but I was wondering how many machines I can install in on.

    HEY TOM!
The ideal solution is to have a large enough HD (preferably a fast RAID)
for storing your preview and cache files so you don't have to worry about
if they are taking up too much space.
You ignore them, then do a 'Spring Cleaning' now and then after you have
shuffled through a few projects, then save a few minutes when opening
any current projects to allow them to re-generate their cache files if needed.
If you are on Win7, another folder to watch is:
    C:\Users\*username*\AppData\Local\Temp
Media Encoder will leave a lot of files in this folder that can be deleted.
Select all and hit delete.  If you get any messages, skip those files and continue.
Specify scratch disks to improve system performance
Move or clean the Media Cache Database

  • Adobe CS5.5 Production Premium Install Errors and Other Issues

    Hi,
I just  installed Adobe CS5.5 Production Premium on my computer and had some  errors pop up at the end of installation.  I  will paste the summary below.   I've tried to install Procction Premium a couple of times.  I've used  the Adobe Cleaner Tool.  From what I've researched, the Flash Issue  is a  a false error since Flash was already installed on the computer.   Is  the rest of it connected to the Flash issue as well?
Thr programs all seem to work fine except for the issue below.
My  other question is that when I am in Windows Explorer and I Right-Click  on say a .jpg file and select Open With...  I am not able to select  Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator for that matter.  I have Dreamweaver CS4  and that shows up as an option.  I have gone through the process of trying to add the  Adobe Photoshop .exe file, but it still doesn't work.  However, if I open Adobe Bridge, I am able to select Photoshop or Illustrator to open a file.  Is this  connected to my install or is there something else going on?  I did  uninstall an ancient version of Adobe Photoshop 7.0 that I've had for  years, but that was prior to installing Production Premium CS5.  Could  that have caused an issue?  I read that uninstalling an old Photoshop  can cause problems like this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, your installation errors appear to be the innocuous false errors related to the brain-dead Flash installer. If the programs seem to be working fine, don't worry about it. As far as not being able to open images with Photoshop from Windows Explorer, I recommend taking that question to the Photoshop forum.

  • Adobe CS5.5 Production Premium (32 bits)

Hi, I need to create a deployment for the Adobe CS5.5 Production Premium32 bits version. It would be install on Windows XP Pro SP3. So I first created the "Premiere Pro CS4 and After Effects CS4, 32-bit support for CS5" package. It install without any problem. Now I need to install the rest of the Adobe CS5.5 Production Premium. So without rebooting I launch the installation with the same command line that I use with the 64 bits version without any problem.
    msiexec.exe /i "Adobe CS5.5 Production Premium.msi" /qn REBOOT=ReallySuppress ALLUSERS=1 ARPSYSTEMCOMPONENT=1 ARPPRODUCTICON=ARPPRODUCTICON.exe DWUSINTERVAL=30 INSTALLLEVEL=100 DWUSLINK=CEEB8798AEBC90F8B9ACA7CFEEDC978FEE9BD78F598B90AFCE8BF7A8C91BA08FCE0C479FD9AC ARPURLINFOABOUT="http://www.adobe.com" SHOWLAUNCHPROGRAM=0 ARPCOMMENTS="This package is created by Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition" ARPNOMODIFY=1 INSTALLPH=1
The installation start and, after a few seconds, I get an MSI error 1603. Which is an unknown error. What am I missing here? Do I need to reboot the computer after the "Premiere Pro CS4 and After Effects CS4, 32-bit support for CS5" installation before trying the "CS5.5 Production Premium" installation? What are the correct steps for the 32 bits version? I read all the pdf about the CS5 version and couldn't find anything useful other than that I need to install the CS4 part first!
Thanks in advance for the help!

    Problem solved
    msiexec.exe /i "Adobe CS5.5 Production Premium.msi" /qn REBOOT=ReallySuppress
I still don't know exactly why. But as long as it works I don't care.
