Downloading CS6 : Error 110

I'm trying to download the trial ver. of CS6. It stopped. got an 110 error. I'm using windows XP Pro.I want to know what error 110is?

Hello,
I am the IT Director for a Small College Campus and we are having problems with the Adobe Download Assistant in regards to downloading the Mac Adobe CS6 Trials. Regarding specifically the Design and Master Suites. I was able to download the Adobe Acrobat Pro XI trial as well as the Photoshop CS6 trial without problem, but when downloading the full Suite trial, I consistantly first get the 110 error, then if I try to restart the download from where it left off, I get an error 109 or 108. The download typically goes fine until the last couple percent, but near the end I get the error and can not restart the download short of starting over completely, in which case the cycle repeats.
I've done everything in Solution 1 of http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-download-assistant.html, with no success. I am also able to download the Windows version of the trial suites, inside a Parallels virutal machine running Windows 7 without error, on the same machine that gives me the error for the Mac version. It seems to only affect the Mac downloads. I tested the same download on the same machine, but off-campus and was able to complete the download, so I think it may have to be a communication error in regards to our firewall, but I'm not sure why it would only effect the Mac Suite downloads. Taking down our firewall completely is not an option.
I have tried multiple browsers to start the ADA install from, as well as multiple machines running different operating system versions (Mac 10.8 Mountain Lion and 10.7 Lion/10.6 Snow Leopard - I'm not sure exactly which previous version it was) with no success. Both computers were on an Ethernet, hardline connection; no wireless. Any suggestions would be appreciated as our production department is starting a Creative Cloud account and would like to be able to use the download manager instead of the direct download links, from another support topic, I have provided them with for the time being, as they can be difficult to find at times, as well as less reliable.

Creative Cloud uses the Adobe Application Manager as opposed to the Adobe Download Assistant. You are right though the error messages which you are posting indicate a failure of the network connection. Since the same computer works off your college network it does sound like a configuration problem with your firewall configuration.
I would recommend working with the manufacturers of your firewall to determine how to properly allow access. Adobe Download Assistant: errors 110 - communication & 105 - product already downloading...

i've tried everything! "reset product download", make a second attempt following the pop-up instructions, etc.
when that didnt even make a difference then i tried uninstalling [properly], rebooting, reinstalling, rebooting, tried with other products and they all give me the exact same communication problem [110].
based on what the error [105] says, the products are supposed to show on the queue if incorrect then to restart the DL assistant to add again. i do that and then i get the other communication error. so i uninstall-reboot... and get stuck on the same loop! there's nothing on the online|product help or in the forums, nothing at all.
this is so incredibly pointless, frustrating, & annoying, to say the least--
is there anyone who can provide a solution?
isnt there a way to dl the product without having ot use the assistant that causes all this complication?
i am able to dl everything else that does NOT use the assistant without any problems
anyone? please?

I signed up for the cloud and every Adobe product. This is the message I received after trying to download Dream Weaver I received the same with flash and fireworks. Installation failed, another installer already running. Please wait for it to finish. Error 36.
There is nothing else running.

I am using windows 8, 64bit.
I am trying to download adobe cs6 master collection in Korean.
But when I try to do it, it does well untill about 3/4, and stops. (Error communicating with Adobe.com (Error 110).)
So I downloaded on all of the computers I have, (two windows 7s) and they also stopped at about 3/4
I tried to fix this problem with this link solution 1:

But, It didn’t work.
However, when I downloaded The engligh version, It worked!

Cannot download CS6 illustrator - error 110

I have tried alteast 5 times to download the CS6 illustrator try version but it always seems to stop with less than a minute to go, and if I try do go at it again, it always give error 110.

I think, I've found the answer. The problem is at adobe's side.
Not only the traditional Chinese version of CS6 master collection, but also the Korean version are not available for download although they were appearred in ADA. Because I've tried to download these two versions, same problem happened, instead very smooth download for English or Japanese versions.
Any Adobe's official can answer my question?

today download CS6 master collection (chinese traditional) when the download is 69% (Error 110), tried 6 times.

Error 110 generally indicates that the Download Assistant is unale to communicate with Adobe servers. In your case it seems like, it coudol be due to a spotty internet connection. What type of internet connection do you have? If you're downloading over wi-fi, it may be a better idea to use a wired connection.

Error Extracting Downloaded "CS6 Design Standard"

Hello Adobe Peoples!
I'm having trouble installing Adobe CS6 Design Standard. I'm downloading it from this page (Download CS6 products) I downloaded the 2nd item, and I downloaded both parts. I tried running the exe (smaller file) which is supposed to be an installer of some kind. After running it I get this message:
I also tried extracting the DesignStandard_CS6_LS16.7z using 7zip as it is a 7zip file, and it came up with 975 errors and when I ran the extracted installer it failed.
I'm running windows 7 64x bit.

Adding to what Kglad has suggested, please make sure the Antivirus on the machine is turned off and there is no active Online Back up's as well. If in case you are trying to install the product on a network drive/external drive, please refrain from doing so and try the installation on the local hard drive only.

Error message when trying to download CS6 to upgrade my CS4

I just purchased Cloud so that I could update my Photoshop CS4 to CS6. When I run the download I get the error message that Adobe Bridge is running and I need to close the application. It is currently not running. Do I need to uninstall CS4 before I download CS6, or why am i getting the error message about Bridge.exe?

And excactly on what system? Sounds like the "illegal seek" message on Mac. If so, download again using another browser.

Downloaded CS6 and get Error 131:4 message

I downloaded CS6 and when I try to open InDesign I get a configuration error. Error: 131:4
When I try to open Illustrator I get Error:5
I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice. I have shut down my laptop and restarted it.
Fireworks, Photoshop, Bridge, Extension Manager, Media Encorder all open, no problem.

what os and do you have a 64 bit computer?
