Downloading CS6 on a MacAir w/o disk drive

I bought photoshop cs6 on a disk. I uninstalled it from my computer with a disk drive and want to install it on a MacBook Air without a drive. I tried downloding the trial (as suggested on a help site) but can't get it to download.

What exactly means "can't"?

Bought a student edition, so the serial number was sent through after confirmation process. I just upgraded my laptop and want to install the product. My new computer has no disk drive so I have downloaded CS4. My previous laptop was damaged a while ago and so I have not been using my Adobe account for some time. How can I download photoshop lightroom without having a cd disk drive on my macbook pro? I have the cd with a serial number.

My macbook pro laptop does not have a cd disk drive on it. I received photoshop lightroom 4 when i purchased my samsung camera. It comes with the cd and serial number however, i cannot put the cd in my laptop considering it does not have a disk drive. how can i download this another way?

if you downloaded an exe and a 7z file, put both in the same directory and click (or double click) the exe.
any other situation, what os, what files did you download (names and extensions)?

Hello. I have a copy of Photoshop Elements 8.0, but I have no disk drive. What do you recommend I do? the other computers I have access to prevent downloading anything.

Get a mahcine that has disk drive and copy the contents of the disk to desktop of that machine and then use the usb or flash drive to move the data from that machine to your machine and try installing PSE 8.

And excactly on what system? Sounds like the "illegal seek" message on Mac. If so, download again using another browser.

That's not a problem, you can certainly download the product online. Please go to http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cs6-direct-download-links.html and download Photoshop CS6 from there.
Remeber to follow the instructions mentioned under "Very Important section" otherwise download won't start.

How do I download CS6 on my new iMac??

After downloading, I click the file and get a Warning 'The following disk images couldn't be opened'...'DesignStandard_CS6_i image not recognized'

Make sure that you download from this location. Download CS6 products
Compare the file size that is downloaded to what is the size shown on the website. You double click on the DMG file to start the install.
