So im downloading I-tunes Extras of 2 Movies and i keep get the Error that a error Reading the Device and it also said i need to Pleas Check that the Connection to the Networkis Active and Try Again it becuase my network connection is fine i need HELP!!!!

Be careful as you shop. A lot of the stuff at Acoustic Sounds is DSD encoded, which iTunes will not play.

Hey everybody,
I also was experiencing the unknown error -42018 when attempting to download purchased music. Additionally, I was stuck in an endless authorization loop when attempting to play previously purchaed music. All this started when I installed the latest iTunes software 7.0.2.
I run windows XP Pro, and unlike the majority of users I actually set it up correctly with a dedicated administrator account, and regular user accounts instead of just running as admin all the time. For me, that was the cause of the problem.
The new version of iTunes software required FULL CONTROL privilages on the iTunes and iPod install directories for all user accounts that were using the program. (Previous versions worked fine, so this is a new thing.) Once I provided those permissions, iTunes worked correctly. Follow this link: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/304040 for information on how to provide FULL CONTROL to every user account.

Are the apps compatible with your model iPod and its iOS version? You say you have a iOS 4.2. That implies a 2G iPod. Many, many apps now require iOS 4.3 or later or a 3G or later iPod.
Also do you have Restrictions turned on that would d prevent installing those apps? Settings>General>Restrictions.

HT1473 I am having an error on Purchase from ITunes Store in downloading a song with the rest of an album. It is the only song that did not download correctly and nothing works from downloading from already purchased it says (-err = 100000)

TS3297 Has anyone gotten an error message "-1202" from iTunes?

iTunes on my MacBook suddenly does not always load content fully and/or will give me an error message "We could not complete your iTunes Store request. An unknown error occurred (-1202). There was an error in the iTunes Store. Please try again later."
The problem is "trying again later" resolves nothing. I've been through the troubleshooting - software uptodate, not blocked by firewalls, resetting cache, etc.

A workaround is to try to access your MMe galleries online. You'll get this message:
Click on the sign in link to get to your gallery account online. There you will see a button to download each gallery's photos.
The will be placed in a folder, compressed/zipped and downloaded to your downloads folder.
Unzip each file and confirm that the folders contain your photos. When comfirmed go back to that webpage and delete the album from your account. That will stop the download attempts in iPHoto.

I have the same problem. I have 64-bit Windows 7, all updates installed, anti-virus uninstalled, and have a specific firewall exception made just for iTunes, however the iTunes Store still refuses to load. After waiting a (very long) period of time I get the following screen:
Sometimes I won't get this screen at all, and iTunes will finish loading with a blank screen. All of my other computers can load iTunes perfectly fine. This error occurred directly following the iOS 5 update for my iPhone. Seeing as that the only computer affected was the one updating my iPhone, I figure there's some connection between the two. Apple Support tried to help with my request but for some reason refused to listen to the notion that this problem occured because of an iOS5 update (and iTunes 10.5). The only thing I haven't done is wipe my harddrive, which seems to be the only option now.

My itunes store is acting kinda funny...
When I click on "complete my seasons" under TV shows I keep getting an error message telling me:
"The itunes store is unavailable at this time" this has been going on for over a week or longer.
Any idea how to fix this or why it keeps telling me the itunes store is unavailable?? I have signed in an out and still I can not see all the seasons of TV shows I have purchased.

Hi Allan, thanks for that. I've already set up a log in for my wife and that is all working fine. The problem is that when she logs in and opens iTunes and trys to associate her library with her iTunes account she gets the error message "This computer is already associated with another iTunes account". Whilst this is true, the computer is associated with my iTunes account under my separate log in, which should have nothing to do with hers. If she transfers the association to her account it will lock me out of my content on my log in for 90 days - I'm trying to work out how to associate each of the log in accounts with a separate iTunes account so we can access our music independently of one another without locking each other out. Hope that makes sense!

Reinstalled iTunes 10.7 and now get an error message about the iTunes Store when iTunes opens

I just reinstalled iTunes 10.7 on my pc (Windows Vista 64-bit) after that disastrous iTunes 11, and now when iTunes opens, I get an annoying error message "We could not complete your iTunes Store request. An unknown error occured (4002)" I click on OK and I have no problem with iTunes opening and playing anything but how can I get rid of this annoying message? Unable to download and install apps from iTunes store !!!

I am in Bosnia and Herzegovina. When I try to install free or purchase apps from apple iTunes store, i click on the desired app and the window pops up where i need to enter and confirm my data, all goes well until the moment when i need to confirm my details.
Also, since there is no Bosnia and Herzegovina in listed countries (which is really unfair by Apple !!!) i have to use Croatia as my country but when i click confirm data and instead of going to next step and finalizing installation, pop up screen goes black and the only working option left to do is click home button.
I dont know if this issue has to do with the ipad2 i am using at the moment or with the fact that i live in Bosnia and Herzegovina, country not listed in the filling form and therefore i cannot use my address and phone and cc data for shoping or even downloading and installing free apps for my iPad2 ?!?
Could anyone please kindly help me clarify this.
P.S. I am really insulted by the fact that there are some god forsaken countries listed but no Bosnia and Herzegovina. - if it turns out that i cannot get apps for my ipad2 only because i live in B and H, i will return the device and become an ex apple fan !!!
