Downloading from catalogue to dvd - only allows cd download
Just started using - works well until I want to download to external medium:
whether I go through File or Share, the choice is only to "burn to cd", and if I follow that route, the "Burn to cd" page option to select a drive only shows my CD drive (D) and cannot be altered to E, my DVD drive.
Any bright ideas, anyone ?

party burning software. I don't mind giving you some ideas, but don't
want to come across as "selling" it either. Let me know.
As to external medium, this software is very limited. It basically just
categorizes the images. The upgrade allows you to move them around from
the organizer view as well as edit. On the other hand, you could also
just store them on an external drive (which is what I do) and then
search and add it to the catalog.
The thing about the full version is that it is a very powerful image
editor, which clearly is not available in this one. You might look at
the trial version to see if that is what you need. Keep in mind, if you
use the trial, any changes to images will not be seen by PSA because PSE
makes a completely new catalog.
In both packages, they don't actually change the original, they change a
copy.

Why does E-mail from iPhoto 4 now only allow one photo to be sent.
I recently upgraded from 10.3.9 to 10.5.3 on my iMac/G5, and now, when I try to e-mail more than one photo using the e-mail button on iPhoto, I get the following error message:

Just bought a new imac and tried to download all my music from my iPod but it only allow me to download purchased items and not the rest of stuff stored on a previous pc itunes folder. How do I get round this ?
The simplest way to transfer everything is to copy the entire /Music/iTunes/ folder from old computer to /Music/ on new computer.

i have ordered 3 albums from the itunes to my iphone and only 3-5 song from each album have been allowed to be downloaded to my phone yet i have still had to pay for the full album what do i do to get the other songs as im not happy to pay twice

i downloaded an album on itunes using my new itouch; but it's only allowing me to put three songs at any one time into the music app...how can i get it to just move them all in there?

I don't think that's quite the issue though. I bought an album and it appears in 'my purchases' within the itunes app. Yet, in order to listen to the music, i must use the 'music' app and in this application, there are only three tracks displayed at any one time from my downloaded album.
I can 'download all' from the 'my purchases' section but that still doesn't help, it just keeps the last three tracks downloaded in the music app.
I have the 'icloud' enabled and wondered if it had anything to do with that.
i have successfully downloaded another full album totally into the music app, but this first album is causing me problems. -
When I try open a .pdf file my Adobe Reader 11 only allows the download / save opening the related window and don't show me both options 1) open with ... and 2) save as.... probably someone flagged the choise... always perform this way ....
Could some one give help and let me know where I can probably find the settings option that allows me to change and switch to previous situation where it was possible to decide time to time how to proceed either opening the file or saving it ??

Can only boot into Windows 7. Can't even boot from Snow Leopard DVD.
I have no idea what prompted this. I don't recall installing any OS updates recently, other than some Windows Live apps in Windows 7.
I have an early 2009 Mac Mini with Snow Leopard, and have Windows 7 64-bit installed in a Boot Camp partition. When I installed Windows 7, I couldn't get the Boot Camp utility to install within Windows (I guess because it's 64-bit) so to switch back and forth between OSes, I just shut down the Mac and restart it with the Option key pressed, and select Mac OS X when I want to return to Mac. This has worked for about a month and a half now (ever since I got Windows 7). Suddenly I have problems.
I first had problems booting into Windows or Mac. I got to the grey screen with the Apple logo, with that spinning "progress" thing going for a while, then it would freeze up and get stuck on the grey screen with the Apple logo. I zapped the PRAM. No help. Then, after disconnecting all external drives (I have several) and extra USB devices, I was able to boot from the DVD install disk and reinstall Snow Leopard on my internal drive. Joy, or so I thought. Then I booted into Windows 7, and after some weirdness getting it to start, it did successfully start and ran just peachy.
Then I turned off the Mac and held down the option key (as usual) to return to Mac OS. But now all that happens is that I get a grey screen for a few seconds, then the Mac boots back into Windows 7, which seems to work fine. (I'm in Windows 7 right now.) I turned on one my external drives (Snow Leopard installed, connected via Firewire 800) in hopes that the Mac would boot into that, but same thing. Ignored and back to Windows 7.
Then I thought I'd boot from the install DVD again by putting it in the drive and holding down the C key as I restart, but the same thing--a grey screen for a few seconds, and then booting right into Windows 7. I can't seem to escape Windows 7! It's a bit disturbing when it won't even recognize the install DVD.
I tried to call Apple Care since I'm within my 90 day support window, but of course they are closed. I'm figuring that I'm going to have to take this into an Apple Store, but thought I'd see if anyone has any ideas. Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks.According to Apple, Win 7 64bit is supported with Bootcamp 3.0. If bootcamp 3.0 is available; I could not find it anywhere on Apple's website. It appears the most recent version is 2.2. The only place I could find 3.0 is not on Apples website and it's a questionable source so I won't post it here.
It may just be a matter of time before Apple makes it available. I'm not suggesting you wait, however if the install disk can't be used, I'm not too sure where u could go from there. Calling Applecare might work.
If you do a simple google search using the terms 'download bootcamp drivers windows 7' u will see what I was referring too.

If you would like you can your boot your computer into recovery mode using Command+R There you can select re-download it from the internet. You will not have any of your old data on your new computer, but that is because you replaced your hard drive. So if you would like your old data to be there on your new computer I would recommend to back up your old hard drive to Time machine then Boot it into recovery using Command+R and click on restore with Time machine. Once that has completed successfully you not only should have 10.6 But you will also have all of your data from your old computer. -
I was wondering, is there an application I can download from the App Store that allows me to plug in a USB cord from my Iphone and print from any printer?
Sorry but no. iOS does not support connecting a printer via USB, only via WiFi, and without such support there's no way a developer can build an app to provide such capability.

Welcome to the forums!
I'd contact the iTunes store and explain your situation. While they normally do not allow duplicate downloads the iPhone and Store interface is brand new and bound to have some issues to start with. I'd suspect they'll just allow you to download it again or credit your account. -
I have Snow Leopard OSx on my MacBookPro. I would like to upgrade to Mt.Lion. OSx but am only allowed 3 gigs/mo download of data from my internet provider. I've attempted to purchase a CD from Apple store but they said it's only available through on-line downloads. How can I upgrade?

Are you seeing Try links instead of Download links on the Apps page https://creative.adobe.com/apps?
If so please sign out and sign back in to the Apps page. That should switch the links from Try to Download. If not please try clearing the browser cache and cookies and then trying again. -

I had the same issue this morning downloading a pre-order of Alanis, Flavors of Entanglement . I noticed that the only thing that had changed fro me was that I had some song credits for purchasing ticketmaster tickets over the past few weeks. When I went ahead and spent my remaining credits... it downloaded with no prompting or trouble. Maybe the credits issues hangs it up?

I did not read the rather long post. If you wish to reinstall OS X 10.4, use your software install DVD. Backup is essential. To minimize your risk, I would use an archive and install:

In that way, you will have a fresh copy of OS X and your current settings will be preserved.
Incidentally, I do not agree that the printer problem is best solved by reinstalling OS X. I have had HP printers for sometime and, on one occasion, had difficulty after an upgrade. HP technical support walked me through uninstalling all traces of the HP driver and then reinstalling.
