Is it safe to download games like scrabble from big fish? I do not want to load a virus or have other problems with my new computer!

I know this will sound naive, but I am not sure if this site is the developer. The company reads legitimate and has information listed on Wikipedia; http://www.bigfishgames.com/download-games/22084/mac/scrabble/index.html.
Do you think this site is safe?
The Mac app store doesn't have scrabble for iMac; just iPhone and iPad.

Someone I entrusted my computer to for repairs decided to keep it. all my personal information was on the computer. the peron has been using my credit card information o make ourchases from the apple store. If I do not have a credit card on the account on my iphone, I am unable to updatw it or my ipad. After persuading the apple store people to delete the last credit card info, I had to put aother credit card on the iphone to be able to update the software and thevapps. now that card is being used by the person o download war games on the new card. I cannot find any of his downloaded games on any of my devices. I am close to giving up my iphone and ipad. the last time i called the apple store, theynwould not give me the IP address of the omputer the games were downloaded to. they only gave me the name of my ipad. anyone could name thir ipad according to the name on mynipad. I have found the Apple store less than friendly about security matters like this. What can I do to maintain my acount and not continue to be ripped off by the thieving interloper? if i change my user name nd password, i will forever lose legitimate purchases. Please advise me.

Is the credit card registered to exactly the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account, it was issued by a bank in your country and you are currently in that country ? If it is then you could check with the card issuer to see if it's them that are declining it, and if not then try contacting iTunes support and see if they know why it's being declined : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Account Management

I have a ipod touch 3g and when i try to download somthing its like half way done then it stops an give me a error: The game could not be downloaded. The game will be available on itunes to download when you plug in your device.

First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
Finally, if the Restore doesn't work, let the battery drain completely. Then recharge for at least an hour and Restore again. -
I have an iPod Classic. I think it is a 5th generation. I would like to know if I can download games from the App store that say they are for iPads, iPhones, and iPod Touch. Will these work on my iPod Classic?

[Solved] Steam Can't Download Games
Numerous people have been having this problem, where Steam will not download games correctly. It will start the download, then it slows to a crawl until it completely stops. I have found two reasons so far as to why this could be happening. One is that Steam is writing to the disk to aggressively, and it stresses out fsync, therefore stopping the download. Another one is that it asks why too many calls to DNS (10 a second), and this will cause it to just stop the download.
I was wondering if any of you know about this, and maybe have some sort of way to fix this. The fsync theory has a workaround that involves putting "barrier=0" in your fstab options for your drive. I did this, with no success. It still refuses to download.
The DNS theory has a workaround which includes using a package called "dnsmasq" to cache the DNS calls, so it doesn't stop the download. I tried dnsmasq with no success. When I set it up, it didn't download at all. My internet worked, but I couldn't download any Steam games. So that didn't work either. I may have set it up wrong, but I followed the dnsmasq Arch wiki page, so I can't imagine that I did.
Any suggestions? Valve has known about this for over a year and haven't done anything about it, so this is the last place I can think of to ask for help. I tried the Valve github, Steam forums, all to no avail.

I did pull my 99-sysctl.conf file out of the sysctl.d folder, but it still wouldn't download games. However, I never changed the "net.ipv4.tcp_ecn=" setting from its default, so maybe I will disable ECN and see if that fixes it. I can't see ECN being enabled by default, but its worth a try. I will try anything at this point.

I have done this too. I have tried Sweden, Norway, Egypt, UK servers, and even China, all having the same outcome. They will start downloading, but slow to a crawl until it completely stops the download. I'm from the US.
Strange thing is, this was the same behavior I dealt with when I lived with my dad. His internet did the same thing. Now I'm with my mom, and it still does this. I do remember our ISP saying that we need to update our cable modem, but I can't imagine an older cable modem would prevent Steam from downloading games on Linux, especially when they download perfectly fine on Windows.

I was trying to download games into my original iPad. I got a notice that I need iOS4. I searched online. I was told to download that from iTune. I checked around iTune but can't figure how. HELP.
I think you have ios 4, and you need ios5. Could you have read it wrong? Anything in the store for downloads wil be based on the current system, which is ios5.1. Plug your pad into your computer with iTunes, and update your system. Note, your version of I tunes is probably out of date as well. Let it update to the current version, then plug the pad it. It will detect that it needs an update, and walk you through the process.

is it possible for me to transfer my downloaded games from my itouch to my ipad? If yes, how? Will the status of the games be the same?
As long as the apps are still available in the store, and you use the same iTunes account as you originally used to buy them, then you should be able to re-download them for free : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519
If you want to copy over your progress then you will need to try backin up the iPod and restoring that backup onto the iPad - you can't just restore individual apps, it's all or nothing. -

Are you sign in to the ID in Settings> iTunes & App Store>Apple ID?
If you can't download any apps are you using restrictions? Settings>General>Restrictions>Apps>Off. Or do you have content restricted in Allowed Content?
