Downloading Ghost Songs Off of iPhone 5S
I'm a relatively new iphone 5s user, and I noticed that it completed some albums that I did not complete when I had the chance, there are now ghost songs on my iphone 5S that are not on my itunes and I'd like to get those off of my iphone and made permanent on my itunes. I've already checked and the track I want is not on itunes anymore. Advice?
I tried downloading it from the cloud onto my iPhone, then making a playlist on my iPhone, but the PlayList won't sync over to iTunes. What am I doing wrong?

I am having trouble downloading purchased songs to my iphone. I keep getting an error message that the song could not be downloaded. Why? How do I fix this?
Hello Dawnellk,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
For more information on this, take a look at:

Previous purchases may be unavailable if they have been refunded or are no longer on the iTunes Store.

When I try to delete a song off my iphone by swiping right to left it doesnt delete, I even tried plugging the usb into my pc and deleting off itunes and i dont find an option to delete it, how can I?
Here's what I did:
1. I synced my phone to iTunes and under the music tab, I selected sync only checked playlists. I made sure I had none of my playlists selected.
2. After syncing I ejected the phone, and checked my music app. There now was no music at all on my phone.
3. Synced it again to iTunes and synced music how I typically do. When it was finished, I checked for the unwanted song, and it was gone.
Maybe this will work for you as well. -
I recently upgraded to a macbook pro after my old pc laptop crashed, is there a way to ensure that I can get all the songs off my iPhone when I sync?
There's some third party applications available. The following article is pretty old (2008) so it would be best to reality-check the capabilities and availability of the various listed items prior to opting for a particular product:

You can copy iTunes purchased songs over to your computer's iTunes library via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases, or have you tried going to the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your computer's iTunes and seeing if you can redownload them on your computer ?

Is anyone else experiencing trouble with removing songs off your iPhone via iTunes?
iTunes 11 is so difficult to work! I can't even access the option to remove songs off my iPhone whilst it's connected to iTunes. Not sure if there's a super complicated way to do it but it's so unconvenient which I really hate. Any solutions? Seeing as I can't contact Apple through email I'm asking the community as they seem to know more about iTunes than the actual company does.
Thanks in advance, guys..Hello Kizzrawr,
Thanks for the question, and welcome to the Apple Support Communities.
I understand you are having issues syncing your iPhone 5 with iTunes 11, specifically trying to remove songs. I can definitely help, however the answer is going to be based on how you have configured you iPhone to sync.
First, you may want to enable the sidebar to bring back the familiarity of past iTunes versions:
iTunes 11: Frequently used features
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5649
Afterwards, your device should be displayed if connected:
We'll want to click on it, and choose the Music tab at the top. If sync music is checked, which option do we have selected? "Entire Library" or "Selected playlists, artists…" - the latter of which may be best for your needs.
Otherwise, you can always manually manage the music on your iPhone. The following resource may provide more information on how to do so:

I downloaded a song on my iPhone and iTunes did not update it to my PC. I went to Store -> Check for avialable downloads, and I got a message saying there was no music from my iPhone to sync to my computer... Any suggestions?? Thanks!
I also live in the United States so redownloading shouldn't be a problem.

I can download a song to my IPhone. I can play on my iMac but it will not download to IPhone. It is also in my ICloud but it still will not
OK.
Not sure why you are in the itunes forum.
Your issue is with your MP3 player. Go to their support page.
Itunes syncs with Apple devices. It has little or nothing to do with other players.
Does your MP3 player support the file type of the song that your downloaded? -
If I delete a song off my iphone will it delete it off my itunes too when I sync it?
I don't completely understand how that works with deleting a song off your music FROM your iphone and then what happens when you sync with itunes....does it get deleted off itunes as well or will it re-sync the song back on to your iphone?
I'm mainly asking this because when I delete a song I usually do it from my phone and I usually do it because: it's a free download I didn't like, a song that I don't even know why I have in my music, etc...so when I delete them it's because I want them gone for good(from phone and itunes).Ok, thanks! I'm pretty new to having multiple apple products. Another question though, if I delete, say Christmas music, from my device and it is still in itunes, will it automatically sync back to my device next time I sync it?

I'm simply trying to get enough space to update my 5s because of the whole thing where you're phone needs room to install an update. I deleted over 100 songs off of my iPhone while in iTunes on my computer. I decided to sync to see if it would show up, but all that did was add the apps from other people's devices in my house. Then I disconnected and my phone froze. I plugged it back in, got the apple logo and it loaded again, but still it showed 825 songs on my iPhone while according to iTunes, I have 666 songs on my iPhone. What do I do?

Apple isn't making this 10x more complicated you are.
If you deleted the music why are you syncing back apps from other user on your computer?
Have you tried deleting the music directly from your phone and then update over the air? -
I am unable to download itunes songs purchase on my iphone. I have recieve a download error that says tap to retry. I do that and keep receiving the same error. I've given up on Full Screen Apps
At first I was very annoyed at the built-in rigidity of full screen apps. We called it a bug (it's not- no one at Apple cared to give the apps the flexibility they should have) and I hoped for a fix, but with so many desktops available and the full s
