Downloading Hardware & Software After Installing Microsoft 7

Hello! A virus attacked my OS, so I wiped the old one (Microsoft 7 Home Premium) and installed Microsoft 7 Ultimate (64-Bit). After this, I had no drivers, hardware, software, nothing for the wireless connection, it's all gone. If possible I'd like to find and download all of these things instead of paying for a recovery disc. I have hardware errors for the following things: Ethernet Controller Network Controller PCI Simple Communications Controller SM Bus Controller and two Unknown Devices (one located in Port_#0003.Hub_0004 and one on PCI bus) I checked to make sure the BIOS are current and downloaded and installed the most recent system and UEFI updates. I don't know what I need and don't need from the Software & Drivers Download Page or if I need more than is offered there. Please help. I tried to provide as much info as possible, but let me know if you need anything else. Thank you!

Hardware Scan after installing client

Hey all, i have a question about hardware scan after installing client. I have couple collections where are deployed different things (policies, apps etc.). These collections are based on queries that check for specific Installed Software on computer.
If software is in add remove programs (for example let it be Java) then computer should belong to that specific collection. Now the question is when i install client on that computer sccm doesnt have list of installed softwere until hardware scan so how do
I force hardware scan just after install so when client gets into sccm database it already know to which collection it belongs???

I have a collection of all machines built within the last 24 hours.

I have these do a policy update every 10 minutes and a hardware scan every hour.
A site I looked at recently complained that the SCEP agent didn't go out quick enough so the above came in handy.
Once the machine built time is greater than 1 day the machine automatically moves out of the collection and receives a hardware scan every 24 hours and a policy update every 60 minutes.

Firefox Not Responding after Installing Microsoft Office 10

After installing Microsoft Office 10 (student and home edition) on my laptop, I noticed that Firefox is going into the state 'Not Responding' every time I access it - it takes about 10 secs to 'think' and then comes back online. It continues to do this every time I want to access a new page, new link, click on mail in Yahoo Mail, etc. Has anyone experienced this issue?

1) Check the $IAS_ORACLE_HOME/Apache/JServ/etc/logs/jvm
has servral logs for OACoreGroup Servlets that are initialied
2) You might have to enable the debug option in jserv.properties and jserv.conf
(find IsItWorking.java in Metalink for the appropriate note )
3) If this is 403 forbidden then check trusted.conf alongside httpd.conf
pls keep posted about how this issue got resolved.

JSP not responding after installing 11.5.10.2 on IBM
HACMP
i have finished installing Oracle applications
11.5.10.2 on IBM clusters (HACMP version 5.1)its a
multinode setup with mutual failover. other
applications are working fine. the installation went
well. but the final part on the middle tier , during
the post install checks it says JSP not responding. I
checked the apache error-log and saw the follwoing
entry

that bafles me because that ip address was not used
in the installation. its the persistent ip address of
the HACMP. the service ip that was used in the
configuration file was 172.29.200.75
however there is no mention of this in the error
log.i also edited the oprocmgr.conf in the
Apache/conf directory after which i dont get the
error however the servlets pages then hangs and
returns page cannot be displayed error on internet
explorer. no error is registered on the error log.
the jdk am using is 1.4.2 which is the recommended
one.
what this means is that i cannot access the self
service pages and as you know you need self service
pages to access the application in 11.5.10.2
i opened a TAR with oracle on 8th April 2006 and till
today i have not been able to get a solution.
I am hoping that i will get someone in this forum who
has met a similar problem or who has an insight into
how we can solve this problem already am weeks past
the target go live!!!

Captivate 7 Stuck Loading after installing Microsoft Office 2013

Before the problem started, I initially had Adobe Captivate 5 (not 7) and have been working fine until I installed Microsoft Office 2013. As I tried to start Captivate 5, it gets stuck on the loading page—the welcome screen never shows up. After I checked this blog on the forum, which is blaming 3rd party fonts that may cause this issue to happen—I never installed any 3rd party fonts—I wasn’t sure if Office 2013 come with additional fonts that are not compatible with Captivate 5. So I removed Captivate 5 and installed the trail version of Captivate 7 (32 bit) thinking that Captivate 7 will be okay with any additional fonts that come with Microsoft Office 2013. Still having the same issue—can’t get the welcome screen—stuck on the loading screen. Regardless, whether I try to start the software or try to open an existing Captivate file by double clicking.
As per another blog on the forum, I also tried removing/renaming Captivate folder located in C:\Users\MYUSERID\AppData\Local\Adobe but that didn’t help either. Now I have completely removed Captivate 5 folder from the directly as I have installed Captivate 7—still stuck with the same problem.
I am running Window 7 Professional (32 bit), have the latest version of Java SE 7 Update 25, downloaded latest AIR update and of course every time removed any software, I did restart the computer to update the registration keys before installing a newer version of a software.
You help and advice will be greatly appreciated! Many thanks!

After deleting every font I could (out of 820 fonts, ended up deleting 687 fonts--only 133 remined that were proected-system fonts) I am successfully able to launch Captivate 7. I guess Microsoft Office 2013 did install some fonts that conflicted with Captivate 7 (even version 5). By the way, Myriad Pro, my favorite font when it comes to Captivate, is also system-protected that I couldn't delete. I now just have to work on Part B, and slowly reinstore the deleted fonts in small batches to keep Captivate working.

App Download manager had problems installing Microsoft C++ 2008

I used download app for Creative Cloud - illustrator / Photoshop / Premier / After Effects all had this error log - should i worry?

Premiere Pro CS4 crashes after installing Microsoft DirectX

It looks like I just made the biggest mistake of installing Microsoft DirectX causing Premiere Pro CS4 to crash. When I create a new project and a new sequence to open it crashes. I submit a report and try it again and it crashes again and again. I uninstalled just Premiere Pro CS4 (I have the Production Premium Suite) and now the installer hangs up at the system check. I'm using WinXp 32bit 2.6 Quad Core Nvidia GeForece 8800 GTS 512.

Along with the DirectX update, did you install anything else?
After your installation of the DirectX update, did you also update your video and your audio drivers? If not, that would be my first thing to try. Both of those drivers can be rendered obsolete in a heartbeat, and because PrPro interfaces more closely with those, than nearly any other program, it will fail, while simple players, etc. still function.

It show it self under, when you click on to the go to menu.

I've installed win7 ultimate a few days ago and windows managed to recognize most of my hardware accept my build in mic and camera and another component I am not sure about what it is (Windows update automatically downloaded the sound and graphics driver for me).
My questions are - where can find the remaining drivers and where can I get the preinstalled Toshiba tools and software? (The driver site in the Toshiba support page does not include those drivers and software)

I have Satellite A300 (PSAG8E) too and installed Win7 Home premium and everything works perfect.
At first I must say that I don't know where you have searched drivers and Toshiba tools and utilities because all stuff is downloadable on Toshiba support & download page under http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com
It is logic that mic will not work if you didn't installed proper driver. Install drivers alone and not using Microsoft update. What you need are real and tested drivers and not some free drivers from internet.
Go to Toshiba download page and install all stuff following this installations order:
-Win7
-chipset driver
-storage manager
-display driver
-sound driver
-modem driver
-supervisor utility
-infrared
-patches
-configfree
-VAP
-toshiba hardware setup
-HDMI control
-WLAN driver
Everything works well but missing some drivers
Added Vista stuff:
-Toshiba assist - work properly
-Card reader - installed properly
-Webcam driver for A500 - tested with Skype - work properly.
-Synaptics driver

Installing software after instalation of win 8.1

I just recently upgraded to Win 8.1 and I am trying to install some software from a DVD on my DVD RW Drive but my sys doesn't even recognize that there is a disk in the drive, this wasn't a problem with Win 7.
I recently installed the VLC media driver to use for movies etc. but trying to install software from a disk is not working.
I have checked my drivers and sys said I am up to date on all drivers, just not sure how to install other software now...is there a download that I need?

Since suggestion has been given by Cyber_Defend_Team, We wonder if there is any luck that your question has been resolved
Please right click start->Device manager, check if there is your DVD drive in it. Keep the driver of your device up to date for good measure.
Make sure it is not disabled in device manager, then try another DVD media check the issue.

HP Envy error C00D11BA appears after installing Microsoft Word. No audio due to config conflict.

I was installing the newest version of Microsoft Office Home & Student 2013 and noticed that the tutorial had no audio.
After installation was complete, I had no audio at all on my new HP Envy laptop, whereas I had no problems beforehand.
I get this error message when I try to play a music file: Windows Media Player can't play the file because there is a problem with your sound device, such as a sound card or sound controller. I have nothing connected to the laptop, however. The internal speakers are not muted. There is no sound of any kind coming through my laptop speakers.

Adobe CC download manager crashes after installing Windows 8.1

I cannot download anything, if i re-install it crashes again, has blank text boxes where text should be and a triangle warning sign with explanation mark. I've just done clean install of Windows 8.1. Any ideas?

Using original downloaded lightroom software after creative cloud trial

I originally paid for the lightroom 5 software, but after doing adobe's free creative cloud trial, I can't get back to using my original lightroom software, and my develop module is disabled. If anyone can help I would appreciate it.

The normal reason for the Develope module being disabled is because a trial period of the software has expired, and it's possible your computer is confusing the end of the CC trial with the use of a perpetual copy of Lr.
The best way to solve this is to uninstall and then reinstall your perpetual copy of Lr, assuming you haven't tried this already.
