Downloading I Tunes 7 (updating to current release)

My husband brought me a Ipod Nano for Xmas. Although I have had my issues with the IPod, it works. I have not been able to purchase music, as I Tunes is not working. I was able to create an I Tunes account, set it up, burn cd's on my older version of I Tunes. When I attempt to purchase music, it tells me I have to downloand I Tunes 7 in order to purchase and download music. I have tried probably about 30 times to download 7, but no luck. It does nothing but say Thanks you have downloaded I Tunes 7. NO little icon on my desk top to install. No program file to run and install. Nothing, and this is driving me crazy. I like my I Pod, but I want to get new Music and be able to fully use it. Also, I have already removed the version I had of I Tunes and Quicktime, as recommended my Apple, and that did not work either. Can I call Apple and have them help me or support for I Tunes. Is there a number? Any input is appreciated.

If the program downloaded, you might use the Search option built into windows. Type itunessetup.exe in the search box, looking in all files and folders. If you find the file and run it, make sure it says it's for iTunes 7 before completing the install. If you can not find the file and still need phone support, call 1-800-275-2273 for technical support.
Good luck...

  • Software and Driver Downloads - meaning of "Updated" vs. "Released"

    I'm a little confused while visiting the HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads page for my laptop. It will show a driver with a new "Updated" date but the "Released" date (and version number) does not change. It makes it difficult to determine if there is a newer driver available to me. And, yes, I also run HP Support Assistant but it usually states "no new drivers" even when there is a newer (Download page version number vs. my Device Manager) driver.
     So what is the meaning, in this context, of "Updated" and "Released"? The Released date is always older than the Updated date.

    (3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.

    Hi Romantilizer,
    Hook your phone up to iTunes on the computer you sync with and do your update from there. This is a robust iOS release, and doing it OTA is not always successful. I tried on my iPhone a couple of times, and it aborted the update twice. Did it via the Mac, and it was fine.
    It takes a bit of time, so hook it up, make sure it is updating your phone, and then find something else to do for a couple of hours.

    Hello there, tulchan.
    The following Knowledge Base article addresses the very issue you're describing:
    iTunes 11.1.4 for Windows: Unable to install or open
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS5376
    Check for .dll files
    Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes and C:\Program Files\iTunes and look for .dll files.
    If you find QTMovie.DLL, or any other .dll files, move them to the desktop.
    Reboot your computer.
    Note: Depending on your operating system, you may only have one of the listed paths.
    Uninstall and reinstall iTunes
    Uninstall iTunes and all of its related components.
    Reboot your computer. If you can't uninstall a piece of Apple software, try using the Microsoft Program Install and Uninstall Utility.
    Re-download and reinstall iTunes 11.1.4.
    Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities.
    Cheers,
    Pedro.

  • When I downloaded I tunes and bought Match all 3 of my computers synced. Now I download a song from Amazon into Media player or burn a cd and they are not syncing with the other computers. I update match and have my boxes checked in preferences.

    When I originally downloaded i tunes and bought match all 3 of my computers synced. Now when I download a song from Amazon into media or burn a cd into media they are not syncing. I go in and update match thinking that might work, it hasn't. I have all of my boxes checked in preferences on all 3 computers.

    Yes i've tried all of that. I've turned it all the way on and off and erased all of my music and put it back on and nothing works. And with the breaking up CDs and putting into compilation categories i have already fixed all of that stuff. It's fine it just doesn't show up in the list of artists. I can find the album in the songs category and the albums category it's just it doesn't show tha name of the artist. All of the other albums that i downloaded before i updated my itunes to th most recent update are fine. It's just the two that i downloaded afterwards. Thanks for trying though.

    Hi Demo, thank you for your suggestions.
    I've tried updating in the following conditions:
    1. "Over The Air" at one location;
    2. On a Windows computer running the latest version of iTunes at the same location;
    3. On Mavericks (10.9.4) running the latest version of iTunes (11.4 (18)) at another location;
    4. On Mavericks, latest iTunes over a VPN with a server location in US;
    5. On Mavericks, using a 3G connection shared from an iPhone;
    6. On Yosemite developer preview with a previous version of iTunes at the same location.
    I got the same results in most cases except for an occasional error with code 9; I'll try again in other conditions.
    Interestingly enough, I've successfully updated my devices to iOS 7.1.2 and to iOS8 GM without any issues at the same location but, of course, no two conditions are exactly the same

  • Where can I download the iTunes64.msi driver. I can't update my current Itunes without this driver.

    Where can I download the iTunes64.msi driver. I can't update my current Itunes without this driver. I can't find it on Microsoft's website or Apple's website.

    You can't download the individual .msi files, but they can be extracted from the setup.exe files if required.
    For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
    The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
    Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
    If you are running 64-bit Windows and the above steps haven't helped try installing the version of iTunes that can be downloaded from this support document. iTunes 12.1 for Windows (64-bit — for older video cards)

  • Unable to download songs or update Podcasts

    I have been using iTunes now for a few years and not experienced any real difficulties until now and have realised that it is very difficult to get support from Apple for the application itself.
    The Fault
    I am logged into iTunes using my iTunes id and trying to update my podcasts, download a new podcast or download a single (eg: the free single of the week) however iTunes fails to download the items.
    The Symptoms
    If I click "Get Song" to download a track and confirm I want the track by entering my password for my iTunes account, the application throws up the error below...
    "Purchase of this item is not currently available
    This item is being modified. Please try again later"
    Clicking OK returns me back to the song that I was trying to download.
    If I want to update or download a new podcast a small icon with an exclamation mark appears next to the podcast which was selected to download (either the update or new podcast).
    On clicking on this exclamation mark the following message appears...
    "There was a problem downloading "Mills:Making Laura cry. 18th Jan 07.". The required folder cannot be found.
    Please check that the url is correct and the connection to the network is active and try again."
    Clicking OK on this returns me to the podcasts list where I am trying to update a podcast.
    What I have already tried
    Firstly I tried numerous different podcasts to make sure it simply wasn't the one I was trying to update or download. All are affected.
    I have allowed a couple of days before trying to update or download again should there have been a general issue with iTunes or iTunes store.
    I have removed the podcast from iTunes and tried to download it again.
    I have ran a repair on iTunes.
    I have performed a windows restore to a previous date when a podcast did update.
    I have uninstalled and reinstalled itunes with a fresh download from the apple site.
    I have looked through all the settings within iTunes and can see no obvious setting which could be causing an issue.
    I do have a working internet connection which iTunes has confirmed is working when I performed the iTunes network diagnostics from the help menu.
    I have shouted at the laptop.
    I have threatened my laptop.
    I have threatened the iTunes application.
    all to no avail!
    I'm now really struggling to find a resolution to this.
    Any help would be very much appreciated.
    Thanks in advance

    Try updating your browser to the current release, which can be found [http://getfirefox.com here]. However, if that doesn't work, try read the [[Unable to download or save files]] article.

  • I want download i tunes 7.1.1 so can you tell how can i download

    i want download i tunes 7.1.1 so can you tell how can i download

    If you mean that you want to update your device to iOS 7.1.1, then if it supports iOS 7 and you already have iOS 5+ on it then you should have a Settings > General > Software Update option on it for direct update. If it's on iOS 4or below then you can only update by connecting the device to your computer's iTunes (you will need an up-to-date version of iTunes on your computer). Whichever way you do the update first copy any purchases over to your computer's iTunes via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases, take a backup, and preferably take your own copy of any important documents/photos (they should be included in the backup, but it's best to have your own copy as well)
    Updating iOS : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4623
    If you want to update your computer's iTunes (the current version is 11.2.2) then :
    on a Mac in iTunes : iTunes > Check For Updates
    n a PC : Help > Check For Updates
    Or you can download the current version of iTunes from here : http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
