Downloading Illustrator CS 6

I have purchased three licenses for Adobe Illustrator CS 6 and am simply trying to download and
then install the software. But I can't seem to find the right link. Can anybody help?
To be specific, I am a faculty member at the Georgia Institute of Technology. We purchase
Adobe software products through a state-wide purchasing agent. I have a license key and
have paid to install Illustrator CS 6 on three machines. I did a similar purchase for Illustrator
CS 5 but at that time, I was also given an installation dvd. Now I was told just to download
the software. But how to do this is the question.

You should be able to download the trial version from the Adobe web site product section and use your serial number to activate them. http://www.adobe.com/products/illustrator.html (select the "Try" option)

It seems the downloaded setup for InDesign has got corrupt.
Could you please clear the TEMP from your computer and then retry.

Can't download Illustrator onto Mac OS x 10.6.8

When I go to download Illustrator I am being told I am running an OS Illustrator no longer supports, though the system requirements clearly state OS X 10.6.8 is supported.

If it is the most recent version you are trying to download, then the new minimum is 10.7. You can try to download CS6 which works but the latest version of CC doesn't.

Why can't I download Illustrator CS6 through the Adobe Download Assistant?

There is only one catalogue named "PDF" and only one program named "Acrobat" in it. As far as I am concerned, there is no means to download "illustrator CS6" or something other than "Acrobat XI Pro".
I am in China and the download assistant is downloaded form Adobe 中国：创意、营销和文档管理解决方案. I have bought the license of "illustrator CS6" but it's ridiculous that I can't get a copy online. To be noticed, Creative Cloud is not provided in China. It means if I reinstall my system I will lost all my Adobe Creative Suit software though I have valid license and have no credible source to download them. Please HELP!

Thanks but it seems Adobe doesn't think I have bought the software. Perhaps it's because I buy the Serial Number from other source (shop.edu.cn, a website provide Chinese teachers and student with coupon).
I buy three SN and register them on my account and what my account shows is like following pictures:

When I try to download Illustrator from my account alls well unitl the download. Then nothing happens. No progress bar. The screen does not freeze, it just does nothing.

Try using a different browser. Sometimes it helps.

"No Internet Connection" = I can't download Illustrator... but I have internet working fine.

I've been trying to download Illustrator through the CC App on my Mac and it keeps saying I have no internet connection.
I've managed to download and install Photoshop, InDesign and Lightroom but I've been trying to download Illustrator for two weeks now and it keeps telling me I have no internet connection.
I've tested the internet connection by trying to download images, video and other items from various other websites and it doesn't have any troubles.
To be safe, I reinstalled the CC App just in case there was any weird glitch that could have been causing problems but I'm still having the same problem.
I click Install, it begins the download (very slowly) and then after a few hours of it downloading a small % it says no internet connection and when I retry a few times, it starts up again but from the beginning (i.e. back to 0%).
Sometimes the CC App will crash and the icon will disappear from my Finder Menu Bar also.
What is going on with this? Is there a way around it or is it an error that can be fixed?
Or am I doing something wrong that I don't know about?

No I don't have any firewall that I know of that could affect the Desktop app. I have reviewed the link you sent across and the results are as follows:
1. Make sure you can connect to the internet.
Yes, internet is all good... no problems here.
2. Make sure that you can access secure sites:
Yes, I can access secure sites as tested by the example in the list (https://www.adobe.com).
3. Check your hosts file.
Test successful after going to: https://lm.licenses.adobe.com
Moving on to reset the hosts file...
I've followed the instructions and I get to "Select the hosts file and open it".
If I simply double click, then the default is to open in TextEdit.
Once open, I go to find File > Save As, but it only says, "Save a Duplicate" and then once I save a duplicate, I don't know where to save it because the Save window only shows the basic folders and I don't know how to get back into the /etc folder from the Private files.
More instructions please, if possible?

I have been trying for 3 days to download illustrator & continue to receive message: "We are experiencing some issues, please try again later". Customer support line takes me to their twitter page & no one has responded to me.

Can you provide more information? Are you downloading the app directly on the website or through the Creative Cloud desktop app?
If it's the former, please try via the desktop app. If it's the latter, can you provide a screen cap?

Without knowing anything about your computer we can't advise specifically. You can download CS6 versions in CC by checking the "older versions/ other versions" stuff in teh bottom section of the CC app's "Apps" tab, but that may not resolve your issues.

You have Distiller (used by the PDF Printer) or the Acrobat Quick Launcher running in the background. Shut down the processes or terminate them in task manager.

if you have a download problem (eg, you see an error page or you are offered an incorrect version), you probably didn't follow all 7 steps. typically, failure to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 is the problem, but your browser must also allow cookies so that (a restrictive browser setting) is another potential source of problems.

I can't download Illustrator CC 2014.1. It just doesn't show up in the Creative Cloud application. It just shows the old Illustrator CC 2014.

Have you checked Help>Updates within application.
Is it still not showing the Illustrator 2014.1 to update?
If you still don't see the update then rename the AdobeUpdaterPrefs.dat file to AdobeUpdaterPrefs.dat_old and
recheck the update with in application.

If you still facing the problem then SIGN OUT from Creative Cloud Desktop app and rename OOBE folder.

Rename OOBE to OOBE_old.

Using Explorer, navigate to \Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\.
Rename OOBE to OOBE_old.

Using Finder, navigate to /Library/Application Support/Adobe/.
Important: Perform these steps in the system Library folder. If prompted, enter your Administrator password.
Rename OOBE to OOBE_old.

I need to download Illustrator CS6 cot the updated CC because the updated CC is not compatible with our printer manufacturers FineCut software.
