Does iTunes allow you to download artwork for movies? I have an iTunes account and been successful with downloading artwork for my music collection.

More or less. This means, you won't be able to download artwork for movies converted and imported by you. However, you can add automatically, movies bought from the iTunes Store.

First attempt to download iTunes movie to my iPad2. Got msg saying not enough storage. I'm new to the whole Apple world and am not sure what to do to fix this problem.

Go to Settings>General>Usage and see what's taking up all the space. Delete what you can do without. Remember, you'll need about two times as much space as the size of the file in order to complete the download.

Do you get any error message?
What actually happens when you open it?
What app are you trying to play the files inside? Try iTunes.
I assume these files have DRM from the iTunes store. The Mac needs to be authorized to play them, open iTunes & select Authorize in the store menu, then sign in with the Apple ID that purchased the files.
Select the iTem in iTunes & get info on it (from the File menu) & you can see the account name that it belongs to.

To make search more like it was, click on magnifying glass in search bar and uncheck "search entire library"

ITunes Movie Artwork Issue For Videos Purchased From iTunes

There appear to be a number of different issues with iTunes and Movie Artwork but my issue seems to be a little different – and I have a workaround for it – so I thought I'd post it here in the hope that it will save someone else some time.
Config: iMac 27" / Latest Mountain Lion / Itunes 11 *in 64 bit mode*
Issue: HD movies purchased and downloaded in iTunes won't let me add artwork. I use 'get info' on the movie in question, select the artwork tab, and then drag a picture across from Google Images. It appears to work fine. I collapse the 'get info' window. To check to see if the artwark was saved, I use the 'get info' command on the same movie. The artwork is not there. It was not saved.
Additional Info:
1. I have no problem adding artwork (using the exact same process) to any movies that I've ripped from DVDs using Handbrake.
2. I discovered that the movies in question that I downloaded wouldn't play when launched from iTunes. The failure message said that playback required Quicktime. I have old and new versions of Quicktime on my Mac. Didn't seem to make sense. I researched the failure to play problem and the workaround for that also fixed my artwork problem.
Workaround:
1. Quit out of iTunes.
2. In the applications folder, find iTunes, right click the app file and select 'get info'.
3. Tick the box that says "open in 32 bit mode". Collapse the 'get info' window.
4. Open iTunes.
5. Launch the movie in question. If you get a failure message, just hit 'cancel'. The movie will open and begin playing, likely with no sound.
6. Quit the movie.
7. Select the movie in question and do 'get info' on it.
8. Select the artwork tab and drag your artwork into the blank window. Collapse the 'get info' window.
9. Repeat steps 5 through 8 for all the movies you've had trouble with.
10. Repeat steps 1 through 4, but this time untick the box that says "open in 32 bit mode".
All your artwork should be ok now, and you should be able to make changes for those files from this point on without using this workaround.
So - my question is, does anyone know why there is an issue with 32-bit vs 64-bit and if there is a way to fix it so this workaround isn't needed?

I am having this same problem ever since I upgraded to iTunes 7.x. When I was using 6.x, the videos displayed fine but after the upgrade, they were no longer viewable. The audio is skipping and I only receive flashing colors in the panel where the video should be displayed. I am currently using iTunes 7.5 and not only a problem with video display but also can not view album art in the Cover Flow display. Only a series of different colored squares where the album should be displayed. I have two Sony Vaios one works and one does not. The Vaio PCV-RZ34G with 1GB RAM does not work but a Vaio VGC-RB53 with 512MB works fine. I have searched for video driver updates and have not found any solution. The problem only seems to appear with any video played with Quicktime. Video played with other video applications works fine. I have just lived with no quicktime video or cover flow on the PCV-RZ43G. This has been an excellent system with the only problem being the video conflict with quicktime.

I can't download itunes movies to my iPad; it doesn't recognize the wifi.

I am trying to download a movie to my iPad. I receive an error message each time telling me I must be connected to Wifi; however, I am connected. My daughter is trying on our Apple TV and computer and receives the same error message. We just performed the 5.1 update. Could this be the problem? Some internal conflict with the software?

Try it again now. This was a system error on Apple's end....the message had nothing to do with what was wrong (and there was nothing wrong with your setup or system).
This started working again at about 8pm CST for me.
This affected rentals and purchases (for me it was on iTunes through my computer hard wired to a network).
If you look at the error message you'll notice that its a mix of upper case and lower case words and the message itself actually doesn't make much sense - my guess is that it was a meaningless error message created by developers during testing before....just a guess.

I'm trying to download a movie on iTunes it gets close to the end and right before it ends it restarts downloading again don't know what to do I can't seem to cancel it.

Currently only apps, podcasts, iTunes U and free ibooks are available in Singapore (a full list of what is available where is shown on this page http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3599) - so you won't be able to get films or music from Apple. Are there other film an music purchase download sites in Singapore that you could use ? For music you can also copy your own CDs via your computer's iTunes.

Both are true.
Your have lost of iCloud space.
The problem is you need space on the iPhone.
On the iPhone
Setting > General > Usage select Storage
See what is taking up space on the iPhone.
Delete what you don't need.

Remove partially downloaded iTunes movie from iPad

I tried to download a movie to my iPad but the download stopped in the middle as there was not enough storage. Now the partial movie is stuck on my iPad and I cannot remove it. I have removed almost all data from my iPad to create more space but this hasn't helped. Part of that Other space on iPhone is taken up by iOS, the operating system running on your iPhone. For this part, this is no way to reclaim the free space from that. ITunes movie Artwork

I'm trying to add Artwork to some of my movies in iTunes. I've done this without issue in the past, but now it just won't work. I go to Get Info/Artwork/Add, the file displays properly in the Get Info window, but then, when I click OK, the window closes, but no Artwork is added, nothing displays in CoverFlow???

Having same problem. I put a post up too... so I'll monitor yours and post results if anyone responds successfully to either.
This works fine in iTunes 7.5 with either a local or external iTunes folders.
Tagging information gets updated with the file just fine.
Oddly, after you "unsuccessfully" try to add artwork to the movie, going to Frontrow gets corrupt results (read: no movies or TV shows display). However, restarting iTunes will get Frontrow working again.
Another odd issue, if you attempt to delete the iTunes Movie entry, a dialog box will ask if you want to keep or delete the file... if you tell it to delete the file, it won't.
I'm guessing Apple mucked around with the Movie/Video stuff to some degree for all this rental functionality... and it typical (we release it - but don't really test it - apple fashion), broke the Movie artwork stuff.

I know you can embed the artwork for music. Is there any way (external to iTunes) to embed the iTunes artwork for a movie... so that when you import the movie to iTunes the artwork is already there?
PC or Mac application would be fine.

I have some good news but I still am concerned about why this happened?
Using iTunes, I deleted then re-synced the video files that wouldn't play and now all of them play again.
As I don't know why this problem occured, I am concerned about it happening again...it is NOT fun to have to delete and reload all of these vids, but, at least I know that there is some kind of "workaround"!
If anyone has an idea of WHY this happened and, perhaps how to prevent it in the future, I would appreciate that input despite the fact that all my vids now play again.
