Downloading itunes on windows 7

So I'm trying to download simply itunes so that I can put music on my iphone4.
Now I've spent almost 2 days trying to download it, but nothing will launch, it will just have the little circle/hour glass saying that it's loading but nothing will come up.
I'm trying not to purchase quicktime at all, so I've gone from downloading the actual quicktime from the apple website, then wouldn't download until I put ina registration key, so I then removed it with Revo uninstaller, then downloading QT Lite, as an alternative, and then downloaded itunes again, itunes icon showed but same thing happened, it wouldn't launch. So then I went using Revo to uninstall everything, incuding bonjour, and then downloaded different versions of quicktime player, and itunes icon will show up again, but then wouldn't launch. My main problem is that the itunes will JUST NOT LAUNCH!! And now even quicktime will not launch at all!
Please help me, I really want just itunes and it's just really frustrating how it's not launching, and how it always needs quicktime player in order to be able to download.

Did you repair the Registry?
I remember back when I a Windows laptop at work, it would not allow the reinstallation of an app. I took it to deskside support and they told me that they repaired the Registry and it loaded straight away.

These ones are typically caused by underlying problems on the PC that also often cause Windows Updates to fail to install. If we can fix the Windows Update trouble, we can usually get the iTunes trouble cleaned up en passant.
Go into your Windows update and try to check for new updates. If updates install, stock up on the ones you're behind on, restarting the PC if requested to do so. After the restart, try installing iTunes again. Does it go through this time for you?

I went to the support tab on the itunes page to search for ways to download itunes to windows because i tried pressing the download now button but nothing happened. No window popped up asking to run or save program as usual. Someone else was having the same problem so i reviewed the answers they have gotten. There are a couple of methods for using more than one iPod on a single computer. Method one which has already been described is to have two Mac or Windows user accounts which by definition would give you two completely separate libraries. Method two is to set your preferences so that either one or both iPods get updated with only certain playlists within one library. Make your playlist a Smart playlist and limit the size to just below the advertised capacity of your iPod ( for example, around 3700MB for a 4GB or 1800MB for a 2GB Mini or Nano). The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

Really depends on the specs of your computer as well.

The Apple website sometimes gives problems to download iTunes. If you have problems, simply download iTunes from the Apple Support website > http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1615, or http://www.apple.com/itunes/affiliates/download

If you only changed the name of your ID rather than creating a new ID, just go to Settins>iCloud and tap Delete Account then sign back in with the new name. (Deleting the account from your phone does not delete it from iCloud. Your data will be synced back to your phone when you sign back in.)
If you created a new ID, you'll have to go to Settings>iCloud on your phone and turn all data you are syncing with iCloud (contacts, calendars, etc.) to Off. When prompted choose to keep the data on your iPhone. (If you are syncing iWork documents with iCloud, also open your iWork apps and turn off iCloud syncing and choose to keep the documents on your phone.) After everything is turned off, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. Next, set up a new iCloud account using your other ID, then turn syncing for your data (contacts, etc.) back to On. When prompted, choose Merge. This will upload the data to your new account.
You won't lose any photos in your camera roll or photo library. If you have any photos in your photo stream that are over 30 days old that are not in your camera roll or saved on your computer, be sure to save these to the camera roll before deleting the account. To do so, open the photo stream album on your iPhone in the thumbnail view, tap Edit, tap all the photos you need to save to select them, tap Share, then tap Save to Camera Roll.
