Downloading Kobo e books

Anyone experience the abobe download manager not downloading to pandigital e readers, I can log in to adobe but when download manager appears it goes into a feedback loop showing progress of 180 KB only. I have to shut down the reader to get out of the loop.
Please advise if anyone has a solution. Thanks

If the books are free you don't need ADE to copy or read them.
To copy them, use a file manager (Windows Explorer, Finder, ...)
If they are .pdf files, read them with standard Adobe Reader.
If the are .epub files, read them with the free Calibre program. http://calibre-ebook.com/ (much better than ADE except it won't read DRM books)

Download the iBooks app and go to the Store after lauching that. Come back and ask again if you are having problems.
You can worry about Kobo at some later point, it has nothing to do with Apple and you should seek help at the site of the people who make it.

This is probably the article that you were referring to with the registry fix:

This article was updated to state that the registry workaround is no longer required, as the Update has a fix in it. However, you still might want to check the power settings and make sure 'suspend' is disabled.

I have purhased e-books from a store for a number of years now. I have recently purchased a Kobo Glo and still have a Sony e-reader. I am now unable to download any purchased books. I have installed Adobe Digital Editions 4. On my Reader for PC, the book looks like it is going to download but a message appears that the it failed to download contents.

Go into the App Store, tap Updates, and at the top should appear Purchases. Hit the tab that says "Not on this iPhone" to download again

I downloaded Blue Fire Reader and it requested an adobe id. I clicked on the link that was in the error message stated http//adeactivateadobe.com. Found out that if the date and time on my Ipad is wrong that it won't let me download a book. I was off 5 hours. I reset my clock settings and adobe id let me download a book from the library. I am back to using Overdrive and adobe again on my ipad.

When I try to download a e-book I get a error message

When I click the open button when trying to download a e-book, the message says, Adobe reader could not open 'name of book [1].acsm' because it is either not a supportrd file type oe because the file has been damaged(for exapmle it was an e-mailattachment and wasn't correctly decoded.
I have Adobe Digital Reader, and I authorized my computer for this site.
I clean my cookies several times a day, so that is noy my problem.
About two weeks ago I downloaded a book to my computer and then to my nook with no problem.

I downloaded an audio book using iTunes . It says it was downloaded but I cant find it on my iPad anywhere...not in iTunes nor in the audio book app.

on the iPad go to the Music app -> More -> Audiobooks and it should be there. if not try restarting your iPad. if thay doesn't work then I'd recommend a Reset: hold down the Home and Sleep/Wake button at the same time for ~10sec, ignore the Slide to Power Off, the iPad will then Reset, Note: No data is lost during a Reset.
