Hi there,
I´d like to know where can I find LOGIN PORTLETS to import on my workshop customization.
I´m working currently on WebLogic Portal Workspace Deployment.
I´m following these documentation :

I´d appreciate any help.

In that case you can define a view in studio or through the workspace administrator for a role where those users belong.

Error while running an albpm process on enterprise server 5.7

Hi,
I am trying to run an ALBPM project on the ALBPM Enterprise Server 5.7 on weblogic 9.2
This Order management process, makes a call to the sub process < CreateOrderWSCaller >, which using an interactive activity further calls the webservice <OrderService>. This webservice is hosted at http://localhost:7001/webservices/OrderService
The process is getting successfully deployed but when running the same on the enterprise server, I am getting the following exeption
A component failed while executing activity '/CreateOrderWSCaller#Default-1.0/callWS' (BP-method Add Order) over instance '/CreateOrderWSCaller#Default-1.0/2/0'. Details: The task could not be successfully executed. Reason: 'fuego.connector.ConnectorException: The configuration name [OrderService] and type [Web Service] is not defined. Detail:The connector must be configured in the appropiate context. '. Caused by: The configuration name [OrderService] and type [Web Service] is not defined. Detail:The connector must be configured in the appropiate context. fuego.lang.ComponentExecutionException: The task could not be successfully executed. Hi Wilson,
Iam trying to install Siebel 8.1.1.0, with the next image creator utility (Linux_ImageCreator ) in console mode.
But i got the error message when creating the install image. I have downloaded the file four times, and also i checked the MD5 and SHA-1 codes in order to validate the integrity of the downloaded file. The codes are the same that are available in Oracle Edelivery.
About the O.S. i will change it, however, at this time i have not be able neither create the install image.
What could i do for solving this issue?

Configuring SSL certificates on ALBPM Studio

Hi,
I am invoking a web service which is deployed on a web logic server which is a secure server and needs SSL certificates to communicate. I have the certificates but don’t know how to configure it to my ALBPM Studio.
Can I configure those to studio or do I need to deploy my code on the Enterprise edition installed on application server having these SSL certificates? But in that case I would land up investing so much time in deploying the code on server after even a small change. Since I don’t have those certificates configured to my studio it is not allowing me to catalog the service in my project and throwing Introspection error. The details of the error are mentioned below:

In order to communicate with SSL secured webservices (those with WSDL end point starting as https:// you need to have certificates from these servers.
For BPM Standalone these are the steps
1. Download the .cer file from server. (One way is you can use IE browser to get that file and export it from browser to a local directory)
2. Put this file in %JAVA_HOME%\jre\lib\security. You can put it anywhere you want.
3. Run the following command at a command prompt:
C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_02\bin>keytool -import -trustcacerts -alias <CERT ALIAS NAME> -keystore ..\lib\security\cacerts -file ..\lib\security\gd_<cert file name>.cer
4. You will be prompted for a password. If you have not changed the password, it will be "changeit".
5. You will then get the following message if all is successful - "Certificate was added to keystore".
6. Restart Tomcat (inbuilt server in BPM Studio).
This should solve your problem.
Pls note that if you have not configured your keyStore then first do so. you will find this document handy to do so.

ALBPM issue MP5 pack not getting installed

Hi All,
Recently we faced an issue under our project which has an ALBPM 6.0 project as its worklist app.
We were not able to create participant for thr project to be more than 500.
Somehow we got a support issue fix call telling us to install ALBPMs 6.0 mp5 patch. On downloading and performing the install we got another error telling us to have patch mp4 pre installed in our system while looking for this patch we are not able to get any position from where we could download it,

ALBPM Directory Service: Hybrid Configuration - MSAD Problems

I've successfully configured the Directory Service of an ALBPM (Enterprise Standalone) v6.0.4 #94069 installation to use a MS Active Directory (MSAD) service for ALBPM organization infomation. I can view participant, group and organizational unit information using the Process Administrator. However, I've noted:
<ul><li>The MSAD is swamped with (successful) authentication requests from the ALBPM directory service and
     and I have had to stop the ALBPM 6.0 server to prevent disruption to our MSAD service.
</li>
<li>
     Repeated warning messages in the ALBPM log about MSAD Contacts, listed in MSAD Groups, that cannot be found as ALBPM Participants. These messages do not appear for MSAD Users who are correctly shown as ALBPM Participants.
</li>
<li>
     Repeated warning messages in the ALBPM log about MSAD Groups that cannot be found as ALBPM Groups where the MSAD Group definiton is such that the MSAD sAMAccountName value for the group is different to the MSAD name or cn value.
</li>
</ul>
Is anyone else using MSAD in their ALBPM directory service configuration? Have you seen similar issues? I've tried reporting this via Oracle Support, however, my impression is that others users do not have such problems using MSAD with ALBPM or Oracle BPM.

I'm using Novell eDirectory instead of AD but am also seeing a large number of requests from BPM. However, I've not had time yet to investigate to what these relate.

ALBPM Studio and Directory.xml

Can I use ALBPM studio to deploy the process(start engine) and still use the PAPI apis to list the processes? I the web-INF dir, I dont see the directory.xml but it can be seen in the case of enterprise installation which requires the deployment of the WAR each time I make changes to the custom JSP code which access the process engine.
In other words, how can I use the studio to test the PAPI aplis?
Any help would be greately appreciated.

You can use PAPI and PAPI-WS with Oracle BPM Studio 10gR3.

In there, expand the "Oracle BPM Process API (PAPI) and read the section labeled "Connecting to an Engine Running in Studio".

ALBPMStudio6.0.4. Where can I download it from?

I have a new machine and I want to install albpmstudio6.0.4 and for my surprise there is only 6.0.5 in Oracle download page.
My customer has albpm enterprise 6.0.4 standalone.
Question(s): Where can I get a fresh 6.0.4 studio download?
or
Would there be any problem if I use studio6.0.5 to modify a and publish an .exp file in 6.0.4 enterprise standalone??
or
Would copy/paste the installed version from my former machine into the new one would do? (e.g. copy C:\bea\albpm6.0\studio directory to my new machine )
Can anyone share the installer PLEAAAASE? :( :(

Guess what. I've got a new OSX Mac Book pro machine, so , this time I don't even have ALBPM 6.0.5 Studio to develop.
I've followed your advice and took it further. Since Oracle BPM studio 10.3.0.0 is essentially ALBPM 6.5.1 I decided to deploy my .exp from there.
I make some basic test using a parallels virtual machine with Enterprise 6.0.4 SA and everything looks fine.
It seems like the features/changes/enhancements for OBPM 10.3.0 are more in the runtime ( workspace / libraries / etc ) than to the programming model or BPM.
So, I guess, it is safe.

Update Portal Web Project with ALBPM WAR file

I'm trying to follow the procedures for merging ALBPM WAR file and WebLogic Portal WAR file. See link below:

I brought 08-workspace-wlp-FDIDS.war into WebLogic Platform. When I expanded it, I can't find WEB-INF/classes in the source WAR file as mentioned in step 4. I'm getting a whole bunch of "cannot resolved" errors. What exactly do I need to bring into WEB-INF/classes folder in the destination? Thanks.

well if you can merge the two wars (using any of the techniques mentioned in the other post) then thats probably good. If you cant then
a) you either have to use WSRP (it uses SOAP behind the scenes but all that is transparent to you)
OR
b) use something like a web clipping / screen scraping portlet (http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E13155_01/wlp/docs103/portlets/seltype.html#wp1011062)
I'd see if the war's can be merged first , if not then I'd go with option a) ..

ALBPM 10.3 configuration wizard is failing

We are testing ALBPM 10.3 Enterprise on Oracle Enterprise Linux 5 and Weblogic Server 10.3. The installation process is fine, but we can continue with the Configuration Wizard, when we click on the "Ready to execute" page

I suppose the reason why this is failing is because you might be trying to use the config wizard in the GUI mode using the console. I happened to get the same error while doing that in the past. I however was able to get the config wizard to run on linux using the silent wizard which was part of the Oracle BPM 10gR3. I have posted the link to run the config wizard in silent mode.

I happened to get the template file from my Windows Config wizard and changed then changed the properties to suit my linux install.

ALBPM Webservice timeout

in ALBPM 6.04 on WLS9.2, I would like to to set the WebService Timeout.
I have tried to set the parameter -Dfuego.webservices.timeout=300 as startup ARGUMENTS of WLS Server.
But it didn't work. I got timeout error after only 1 minute.
Someone has alredy done?

I had the same problem look this :
Web services access timeout is not configurable. System property 'fuego.webservices.timeout' can be used to set it (value in seconds). Default timeout is 60sec. (Issue #25878)

My phone wont let me download apps

I tried updating apps on my iphone. When I click update all it acts like it's going to download. Then it tells me there's an error. I put in my billing information but it still won't download them. I don't know what to do.

Downloads to wrong folder

When I sync music or podcasts onto my ipod nano (4th generation 16 GB) from my powerbook (OS X 10.4.11) using itunes (9.0.2) it appears, on the summary page of itunes, to be downloading into the correct blue audio folder however once the ipod is ejected no music or podcasts can be found. Once reconnected and on the summary page of itunes, the downloaded files appear to be in the incorrect orange 'other' file.
I have reset and restored the ipod several times. I tried to run disk utilities and got the following message: "Repairing disk failed with error Could not unmount disk"
Can anyone help me? Please?

A simple solution found after many many hours of painstaking troubleshooting:
the problem seemed to be with itunes
trash itunes from the application folder
re-download itunes from apple website
restore ipod in itunes menu
after doing the above I was able to successfully download music again! Previous attempts to restore the ipod failed to solve the problem probably because of an issue with my itunes software.
I hope this saves other people all the time that I lost in the process!

Download error in (osx) adobe desktop app (corrupted download link).

Here is a discription of the problem. Please consider that some of the wording might not be correct, as I do have to translate the error message from German into English.
Using OSX 10.9.2, when clicking inside the adobe desktop app (top of the screen bar) on the tap "apps", the following screen (screenshot) appears, which states, translated from top to bottom:

download error. Please contact support.
(link) contact support
(link/button) download creative cloud -> This button unfortunatly leads to the following error page "http://www.adobe.com/special/errorpages/404.html"
All apps, like Bridge, Photoshop, Lightroom, etc. are installed and work just fine. So no problem here. I seem however unable to redownload the desktop app (in order to reinstall). As stated above the provided link inside the desktop app itself is coruppted and within the (online) web-based download centre (user logged in) I am only adviced to use the desktop app. This is a dead end and I do not know what to make of this error, let alone solving it. Please help!

I am sorry Romsinha but this doesn't really help.
I already restarted the desktop app and while I am obviously online and connected the problem (error message) remains the same. Information within the "home" tap is recieved/loaded (little blue spinning wheel) stating that various apps recently have been updated. Yet the same loading wheel within the "apps" tap results in an error. My best guess is that some internal link within the app is corrupted, leading to a source on a server that can not be reached.
UPDATE
I clean uninstalled adobe creative cloud as discribed in the article you provided (using the cleaner tool) and even uninstalled the browser plugin. After downloading and reinstalling creative cloud the problem however remains the same. "Apps" tap still shows the same problem. "Home" tap now displays the following:
