Downloading MAX by itself

Can I download measurement and automation explorer by itself or is it always part of the NI-DAQ drivers?

I don't know if you can download MAX 4 by itself. But it's included in
NIDAQmx 8.0, that's the way I got it. The link is the following:

I would like to know if I can "join CD tracks" once they are downloaded into a playlist in my ITunes folder on my computer and/or how do you "join CD tracks" if you are downloading from iTunes itself. From the information through the "Help" menu, it seems you can only "join cd tracks" when you are in the process of downloading them from a CD onto your iTunes playlist?

iTunes just downloaded and upgraded itself without my consent while I was at work. Is this a new Apple policy ? Am I no longer owner of my own machine ? Isn't it up to me when and if I want to upgrade something ?

Let's try a repair install of iTunes first.
Restart the PC. If you're using Vista or 7, now head into your Uninstall a program control panel, select "iTunes" and then click "Repair". If you're using XP, head into your Add or Remove Programs control panel, select "iTunes", click "Change" and then click "Repair".
Can you launch your iTunes now?

Why does my iPad 4 download data by itself?

When i did a reset of my iPad 4 with iOS 6.1 today, I noticed that it seems to download data by itself. When i go to the overview of my available memory it first says that about 400mb of data are used, and then it continuously goes up to currently 638mb without any changes or installing any apps. I have now reset it several times and every time it is the same issue.
Does anyone know what this is all about?

Set max simultaneous downloads, max entires in downloads list

When the christ is firefox going to have a set max simultaneous downloads option in about:config at the very least? Also since there's an issue with saving files and the downloads list why isn't there an option to set max number of entires in the downloads manager list? thanks.

My iPod touch can't syncing with the computer or download apps by itself this morning. What can I do?

I just got up this morning and tried to download some apps on the appstore, but I couldn't. It said: An unknown error has occurred. Then, I tried to connect it to my macbook pro and sync the song to the ipod. It said "the ipod could not be synced because the sync sesssion failed to start" . What can I do to fix it?

How about some additional detail like iPod OS, router make and model, encryption you use on your network, examples of troubleshooting you have tried?

I downloaded MAX

seemed like a good idea at the time and I thought it would work via iTunes so i down loaded a cd but instead of iTunes it set its own folder in my Music. When i tried to play a track I got "error opening movie" the movie could not be opened" ???? It was a never a movie in the first place?? Plus a I located it into music not movies

You'll probably want to take that up in the Max forums, since it's not a problem with iTunes, per se.

Download max speed

Can someone tell me what is the maximum download speed from the app store? In other words, would a 30 meg/sec fiber home connection download speed significantly take over the standard 10 meg/sec fiber home connection? Thanks...

idk but sometimes downloading either from my iPod or iTunes, it can get slow but last couple weeks, ive been downloading from iTunes the same rate as how fast my net is. hope that answers ur question.
my download speed is bewteen 12-16mbps and its been downloading to my speed, somtimes abit more like 36mbps n 42mbps ive seen.
Its not like Apple is really gonna tell u that. bc to me, that sounds abit personal to them not to tell anyone.

question is straight forward... with download accelerators each file goes way higher ... i have had it go to 25 MB/sec with "down them all"

Where to download the EhP Installer itself

Hi,
I have downloaded and read almost every PDF I can get my hands on regarding Enhancement Packages but the EHPI itself remains elusive. Can anyone point either of us in the direction of where to download the EHPI itself. By this I do mean the "Enhancement Package Installer" and not the Enhancement Packages themselves.
Any help would be kindly received.

Thanks, I had read that PDF. The fact that I couldn't find the EHPI on SMP is that it is in Pilot Phase and must be requested from SAP. They will then provide you with a SAPMATS link from where you can download the EHPI.

I think I need to reinstall max, but at this point, how?

First some background...
I'm installing a new digitizer into a PXI-based setup. I installed NI Scope v3.8.7, as it came with the digitizer and the instructions directed that I should install it, first. Upon restart (what the instructions said to do after the install) Windows found new hardware (and, per the instructions, I'd NOT installed any new hardware yet.) Based on the evidence, Windows seemed to need to update many drivers after that new NI Scope installation; after clicking to auto- find them all, one by one, I finally got to the point where the new hardware could finally be installed. Then, per the instructions again, I powered down and unplugged the PXI chassis etc. I next installed the new hardware (digitizer.) Windows responded with the new hardware wizard upon powering it all back up again, and auto found the necessary software. Following this Windows responded that the new hardware had been installed and was ready to use. At Windows seemed satisfied.
Now my issue...
I happily clicked Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX), a tool that'd been used for some time in the past, and that's when my turmoil began. MAX threw an exception, but based on my searches here, NI has never heard of it despite it being known (MAXKnownException....sounds like something known, to me that is.) Searching some more based on the exception description I found instructions saying I should create a report for NI as well as pass on the log and dump files for the exception. I was told I could do this (create the HTML report) from the command line, but the most I found I could do from the command line was run MAX. But this is a problem, because in the target system (I was going through the sequence on a different machine, first,) the PXI system, MAX doesn't run. Rather, it goes through the motions; it starts, intializes, loads plug ins and then throws the exception that NI doesn't recognize (or so it seems to me.) Continuing after the exception (on the target machine,) an option given to the user, does no good, for "Devices and Interfaces" doesn't expand; rather, just freezes with an hourglass (I think it was.)
So I'm thinking my next step with this target system should be to reinstall MAX (I just downloaded it, I think -- syscfg120full.exe -- notice how the filename says nothing about MAX???,) but as yet I haven't determined if anything should be uninstalled, first, before reinstalling MAX, particularly MAX itself. Should the old MAX be uninstalled, first? Or is it acceptable to reinstall MAX over itself, despite any past learned knowledge with other software? Does the installer check for old versions and adjust itself, etc? Is anything I'm saying sounding familiar? If I shouldn't reinstall MAX to at least have a functioning MAX to work with to get moving with the new hardware, then what should I do instead? My goal at this stage of the game is to install and test the new hardware, before I start in on the coding, the unknown territory. Right now what's expected to be functioning doesn't function, so I can't move forward.

Why does the brightness turn up to max on its own?

I have an iPhone 5 with ios 7.1
I dont have auto brightness turned on and keep my brightness around 40% so I dont drain my battery and its as bright as I need it.
I noticed the brightness turning up to full brightness by itself whether im inside or outside and cant figure out why or how. Its very annoying.
I also turned it onto auto brightness to see if it would help but it is still doing it up to max by itself. Can anyone help please?

Exiting FULL screen is triggered by one of three things.
1. Pressing "ESC" on the keyboard - a "user input".
2. Clicking the "toggle" on the player interface, which placed the video into FULL screen - again, a "user input".
3. The page refreshing or new content loading in the page - can be "user input", or something like a javascript or ad in the page.
Since Chrome uses its own "proprietary" plug-in, which functions independently of the ActiveX (IE) and Standard Plug-in (Firefox), you can uninstall and reinstall all day long and it'll have no effect on Chrome. You can't download or update "PepperFlash" from here.
If you go to the Chrome Settings:
Click "Show advanced settings..."
and click "Reset browser settings"
