Downloading multiple single songs

I often download multiple single songs from multiple albums of an artist I like.
I have windows xp. Is there a way to buy multiples at once? It seems when I click them one after another there are problems with the downloads with the sound going up and down or pauses in the music.
Can someone please explain what I am doing wrong. Thank you.

There used to be a 'buy all' button but for some reason that has been removed from the current version of iTunes - you will need to buy each item individually by clicking on their price.

  • Has anyone else noticed that you can't download a single song via ITunes Match on the iPod app?

The ability to download a single song has been removed. Now it only downloads if you're playing it. So if I want to download a few different songs to play I have to go back into the app at the end of each song and select a new one to play. I can't create a playlist by downloading all the songs I want to listen to. Basically it has become a one song at a time service. Aka worthless. This needs to be fixed. If I can't get the songs I want onto the phone then why would I do anything but sync with my library since I can do that all at once. This may be the most unexplainable change I've seen on any apple update.

I have an audiobook that is over 100 tracks long and a few GBs in size.  I simply cannot believe that there is no way that I can download a single track from that without having to make a playlist for the whole thing.  I simply cannot stream it because my cell provider's 3G speeds just aren't fast enough to allow any tracks to be played without skips and my docks won't recognize a streaming track being played as legit so I can't listen through my car unless the track is downloaded.  Plus I don't want to eat up many GBs on my phone when I only need a couple of tracks per day.
I don't know why Apple decided to take away the individual track download feature that iOS5 had.  It was perfect for me.  This new system in iOS 6+ just doesn't work and makes me want to quit using iTunes Match altogether (since I can't just manually drag the tracks I want to listen to to my phone before I leave the house).  Maybe it was because Apple didn't like seeing all of the little iCloud buttons next to each track?  Perhaps just give us a setting to turn it back on if we want to.  Apple has ruined iTunes Match for me.  I really hope they bring this feature back in the next iOS update.

  • TS4124 Why can I no longer download a single song to my iphone since the ios6 upgrade?

Since the iOS6 upgrade apple have removed the cloud icon by songs on the iphone that were not downloaded to the phone. Is there no longer a way to download a single song or even know which songs are on your device and which aren't?

Is it because of the iPhone, or is it because the email was sent from an iMac running Yosemite?

  • How can I download multiple apps without entering my Apple ID every single time?

How can I download multiple songs or apps without entering my Apple ID every single time?

It took me a moment to remember where this was!
    1. Open the iTunes app on your Mac and Sign out of your account (Store menu.)
    2. Without signing back in go to the iTunes App Store and buy a free app that you already have*.
    3. A dialog box will pop up for you to sign into your account. When signing in, be sure to tick the box that says Remember password.
    * You can choose any app that you wish, choosing one that you already have keeps you from buying any old app that you may not want.

  • IPhone 4s set to manually sync, but every time I try to put a single song on my phone it downloads my entire library. How do I sync individual songs without downloading entire iTunes library?

I recently purged my iPhone 4S of most of its music because I didn't have enough gigabytes of free space to download the latest iOS (my phone was actually completely full). That ticked me off but I didn't have time for a backup. I transferred all purchases to my library and I deleted the music from my phone.
Since then, I've been annoyed that I don't have all my music but I've been enjoying the free space that I have, so I prefer to restore songs from my library individually now, depending what I'm in the mood to hear, and I don't miss having a full phone.
However, whenever I try to manually sync music that was ripped from a CD, music I didn't download from iTunes, but is playable in my iTunes library, iTunes thinks it has to download the entire library, which I don't even have the space for, anyway. However, my iPhone seems fine wirelessly (I have Home Sharing turned on) syncing individual songs which were purchased in the iTunes store.
So whenever I try to sync a single song, or an album perhaps, which was not purchased on iTunes, I get the message "updating files on iphone" and it says it's copying all the thousands of songs in my entire library. But my settings are for manual sync only. I wind up cancelling the sync every time, because I would have to wait for it to finish copying thousands of songs before it got to the one I selected. Why on earth is it doing this?
How do I regain the ability to sync a single song at a time?
    This has been exasperating me.

While your iPhone is synching in iTunes, do the following:
    1.  Click on your iPhone's icon on the left.
    2.  Find and click on the "Tones" tab on the upper right of the iTunes display.
    3.  Choose the synch option you would like.

  • How to download multiple songs at once on iPhone?

I have many songs on my iphone that need to be downloaded from cloud (I use iTunes Match) to my device.  Is there a way to do so automatically and/or download multiple songs at once without downloading them one at a time?

When you are viewing an Album, Artist or Playlist there is a "download all" button a the top of the list. Just tap it.

  • I want to give an email gift certificate for a single song download ($1.10)

    Hello
Is there a way to give an email gift certificate for less than $10 USD?
I want to give an email gift certificate for a single song download ($1.10) and can't figure out how to do it.
    Please help
    Thanks
    Richard

There isn't a way to purchase a gift certificate for that specific amount, but it is possible to gift one particular song to someone as a gift. You can read about it here.

  • Download multiple reports on click of a single button

    Hi,
I have nearly 12 reports on a page which are displayed according to some conditions, and all have a download report option.
I have created a button for one of the report, i.e when i click that button then the report is downloaded. similarly i want to download all the reports which are displayed, by clicking the same button(user do not want to click each button for each individual report).
Is this POSSIBLE to achieve this criteria ?
Does anyone encountered this problem before, if so who did you solve it.
    any alternatives or workarounds?
Have searched forum but couldn't find the solution.
am using apex 4.0.2 with 11g DB
    Thanks

    Hi mini,
Since u said of having a button which is downloadable(whether it is downloading to the HTML format or to excel) of the singel report.it is downloading to .sql file.
Does the downloadable format interferes with this?
But before that who to proceed to download multiple reports on single click(of a single button "DOWNLOAD")
    Thanks,

I had this same problem and started a thread, but for the most part nobody responded and those who did somehow didn't understand what the problem was.

I'm sure the problem is sweat getting into the apple supplied headphone "remote." Basically even the smallest drop can slide down the wire and get into the unit.
Unfortunately I haven't found a solution other than to get a Belkin remote adapter and some sport headphones. This doesn't give you voice over, but you can still control the volume, skip, etc.
I've been doing this for a couple weeks now and it hasn't had a freak out since.

  • "Up Next" broken? multiple entries for single songs

Problem: I double-click an album and only one song plays. "Next" plays the same song. All songs are checked. Looking at "Up Next" and I find multiple listings of the first song in the album - my one song. Similarly I can double-click a single song and get similar results - multiple entries in "Up Next" - 21, 22, and then 19 times in a quick test on several songs (I think the number of duplicates is the same for a particular song but I'm tired of beta-testing).
I can drag an album or other selection into "Up Next" and all seems well. All my songs are "checked."
I keep iTunes up to date and installed a new version today before reporting this.

I was looking for something like that and can (almost) swear that the blue repeat icon wasn't there (I was looking for something like that, but of course my screenshot does not include the culprit so I'll have to assume I missed it).
And it's "kind of" only since in the latest version anyway you need to select "Off" from Control | Repeat rather than toggle the "One"
    Again, thanks very much.
I still think the overall UI behavior is wrong - "playing" an album or playlist shouldn't repeat the first item IMHO. It should at least warn that Repeat | One is on.

  • I downloaded an album and every single song is cut off after about a minute and a half.

I downloaded an album and every single song is cut off after about a minute and a half. I checked the Help information, but there isn't a button visible to download it again. How can I fix that?

I have a problem too - may be related to this.  I downloaded 5 albums over the weekend, plus a few singles.  Every one of them has at least 1 song that stops playing partway through, some as quickly as 5 seconds in.  Looking at the file itself, the size seems right for a song of that length, and I got no errors during download, but out of the ~75 songs I purchased over the weekend, I have 10 (so far, still checking) that are incomplete

  • Single song across multiple menus

    iDVD '08
I have a DVD that has about 10 "Chapter" pages/sub-menus. Is there a way I can assign a single song to keep playing through all of those pages, or do I have to assign a separate song to each page/sub-menu?
    _mike

If you think about it, having the same song continue from one menu to the other is not feasible because the viewer can keep a menu on screen for as long as desired, going to the next menu in mid-song, or waiting til the end on that menu, entirely an individual choice. So, unless one waits for the portion of the song to finish and then quickly goes to the next menu, the continuity is lost.
You could do this, but it would be way more effort than it is worth.

  • How do I add a single song from iTunes on a different computer

I have the limit of 5 computers with a single iTunes account.  And I have 5 iPhones and 3 iPads.  All of them use their own library on a desktop iMac back at home in Germany.  However, I travel very often to see family in the U.S.  Today I purchased an audiobook from Audible and dropped it in my iTunes on my MacBook Air that I have with me in California.  I want to ADD just that book to my iPhone 5 so that I can listen to it (the problem could be a single song, but in this case it just happens to be  book).  I don't want to re-sync, I just want to add on book to my other media on my iPhone 5.  All of my devices are marked "Add manually" on the mother iTunes on the iMac at home. But when I try this with any of the other 4 computers I am prompted to erase everything just to add one book.  This is not a piracy issue or a copyright issue.  I clearly own the book and iTunes knows it.  I can download or play new media on any of the five computers.  That's not the problem.  I need to be able to transfer to a portable device.  There should be a way to do this.  I can't think of any legal reason why Apple would prevent this.

Allan ... okay now I guess I am making an issue of it.  I don't mean to be obnoxious, but since you seem to know what you're talking about, let me pick you're brain a little further.
I soon as I try to add the single song or book, I get the message that this device is synced to another computer.  Now isn't it true that iTunes knows exactly what computer it's synced to and that the device is on the same iTunes account that this computer and the other computer are on?  Sorry about the run-on sentence. This iPhone sitting here with me is ONLY associated with my iTunes account no matter what computer it's connected to.  If that computer is also associated with that "Apple ID" account, doesn't that mean that Apple knows that this device must necessarily me "owned" by me?

  • TS1389 I have a single song I am unable to play because it asks to be authorized.

I have a single song I am unable to play because it asks to be authorized.
I do, and then it says my computer is already authorised, but it still won't play and repeats the cycle.
What do I do? It won't play on my computer, online, or on my ipod.
And yes, I've restarted my computer.

This may be a sign of a corrupt purchased file. Assuming that it was purchased from the iTunes store and iTunes in the Cloud is avaiable where you are, delete the problem file, close iTunes, reopen, then download from iTunes Store > Quicklinks > Purchased > Music > Not on this computer. If redownloading is not an option contact iTunes store support through the report a problem links in your account history.
