Downloading my itunes library to a new pc

How can I download my Itunes library to a new pc? I think the problem is because I had already dowloaded my library to my old pc.

Contact iTunes Support but while you wait for them to respond, do the following in the event you authorized your new computer more than once:
1. Open iTunes.
2. From the Store menu, choose "Deauthorize This Computer…"
3. Enter your account name and password.
4. Click OK. A message appears reading "This computer has been successfully deauthorized."
5. Click OK.
6. Repeat steps 2 through 5 above. If you see the same message reading: "This computer has been successfully deauthorized," then your computer was using multiple authorizations.
Repeat steps 2 through 5 above until you see a message reading "This computer was not authorized. To authorize this computer, play a song or video you have purchased using this account."

Yes. As long as all your songs you lost have been Matched or Uploaded to iTunes Match you can download your entire library from the cloud.
It might take some time though

I cannot download my old itunes library to my new ipod - please help!!!!

Unfortunately in August 2006 someone nicked my Ipod mini - thanks! So my insurance co. replaced it with an ipod nano. I've installed the new software disk that came with my ipod nano and hooked up with the old itunes library to my new ipod nano. Simple huh? Not likely. It says I have too many tunes in my itunes library to download to my new ipod. However the mini and nano are both the same size -4G so why now is it telling my I have too many songs to download to my ipod nano? I have even deselected some from the library but no luck. My old ipod mini was not full to capacity anyway? any ideas?
It could be that my current pc is not logged to the internet - AOL fault currently being sorted but surely that should not stop me updating my ipod? The tunes are in the library the new 4g ipod (allbeit a nano and not a mini as was) is connected yet the **** thing says I have too many tunes selcted to download WHEN I KNOW I DONT! Help......... please does anyone have a clue where i'm going wrong its driving my nuts!

If you had backed up and restored your library properly you should have ended up with the playlists too. Did you import the media folder from the backup drive into a new library rather than restoring the entire iTunes folder?

I just bought a new ipod and I'm trying to download my itunes library and games but itunes is not recognizing my new ipod. I have followed all the instructions from apple asistant except deleting and reinstalling itunes. What can I do.

I bought a new Ipod (5th generation). I am trying to sync it to my itunes. I tunes does not recognize my new ipod. It is registered. I was only able to download purchases I made from my old ipod. I cannot download my itunes library or any of the games I have purchased. I tried using the troubleshooting guide to no avail. The only thing I did not do was to uninstall and reinstall itunes. I did update it to the latest version. How can I get itunes to recognize my new ipod?

Hi-how can i transger my itunes library to a new computer without having my old computer in my presence?

I recenlty bought a new computer, a Windows one and my old computer was a Mac. I am trying to move my itunes library to my new computer, however, I do not know how to do this. I downloaded itunes on my new HP and I have logged in to itunes and have authorized this computer on the account. I cannot seem to find any of my songs or how to bring them up in my itunes account. I do not have my old computer in my presence. If someone has an idea, please let me know. I just want to listen to my music!!

How do I move my itunes library to a new pc using a flash stick?

I want to move my itunes library to my new pc. I have purchased some songs on my new computer and downloaded them to a cd and put them on my ipod nano using my old pc. I now want to transfer my entire library on my old computer to my new one using an external drive or flash stick. The old computer will no longer be used. The new computer will now be my 'home' computer. I have some lengthy instructions on how to transfer the library using my ipod, but i don't know how to use a flash drive to do it...instructions, please. Choose Consolidate Library from the Advanced menu in iTunes, confirm this action, open the Advanced section of the iTunes preferences, check the path for the iTunes library, and move the folder at that path to the corresponding location on the new computer, using any method necessary to transfer the data.
